NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS??

I haven’t put much thought into my New Year’s resolutions this time around, but I HOPE to be more active on here (and also the usual stuff like be healthier)!

HI COCO!!! I’ve been so busy in my personal life (this whole week I’m booked) that I haven’t had time to check in or sit down and make something.

I almost got bit by a dog actually, but how have you’ve been??

AHH, thank you! Honestly, I can’t see him as anymore more than just a grumpy cat /hj. In all of my works, I try my very best to keep them canon or, at least, canon in my head.

Rin is one of those characters that I know would aggravate me irl, but even though he won’t show it (or fully shows it when he’s in his ego form(??)), he feels emotions deeply but because of his relationship with his brother, it changed how he views things. It flicked something inside him that is only barely being flipped back again but in another way (his true ego being externalized that was there since he was born, something uniquely his).

To me, Rin being in a relationship is unrealistic but that’s how I feel like with almost all the blue lock char’s. He’s a 16 year old with a single focus in life. Yes, being his partner means you’re put in a higher value but he’s still rin. Also if you’re going to date rin, you know and accept what you’re getting into.

- rin would exclusively use your first name and there's no chance he would ever refer to you with a term of endearment. he will try and probably fail to tolerate every time you call him a nickname/last name.

- he wouldn’t openly confess his love for you like saying ‘i love you.’ even when you say it to him, you either get a softened scoff or THE glare but inside he will try not to look so affected.

- he would never stop trying to become the best striker, and while your goals are less important to his own in his mind, he would support you and expect you to do the same.

- his passion for soccer will always come first, yet he will take moments in his busy life just for you—moments he wouldn’t typically share with anyone else, like adjusting his daily routine to fit you in.

- rin would not take the lead when it comes to physical contact, nor would he expect any kind of physical affection from you. he would let you initiate in a PRIVATE setting but in public, he wouldn’t be comfortable with it at first.

it’ll take a while until he gets used to PDA, but even then he wouldn’t do much because he likes keeping touches to a minimum in public

- his loyalty to you is unwavering (like how he is with soccer) and if he didn’t feel secure in you or your loyalty then he wouldn’t be with you in the first place

- he wouldn’t tell anyone you are dating, even his parents but isagi (and his friends) would notice that he’s been hanging out with someone (unheard of). they’ve tried to bring it up before but rin would ignore them. in his head, he doesn’t see a reason why they need to know who he is with.

- he would let you be around him as he trains/meditates/etc as long as you’re not being a distraction

- he will let you get away with things that others don’t (ISAGI). it’s nothing that goes over his boundaries, but he would speak a little more softer with you and not ignore you unless you ticked him off (again, isagi).

scenario: isagi thought that rin was in a good mood since he’s been talking to you in a slight gentler tone that day, but when isagi asks him for help, rin ignores him — now, isagi knows to ask for your help when dealing with rin, which frustrates your boyfriend, especially because it works MOST of the time

- if he’s jealous, he will literally death glare the person keeping your attention in the hopes that it would make them uncomfortable so they leave you alone. but when you’re looking at rin confused on why the person left so abruptly, he’s ignoring you.

scenario: isagi. that’s it.

- he won’t tolerate anyone making you uncomfortable. like, he will get up in their face and talk openly shit.

- Yukimiya had already brought your Christmas presents weeks prior. Since, he’s usually busy with either modeling gigs or soccer, he wanted to make sure he didn’t forget or buy you a last minute gift.

- It was actually one of his photoshoots that made him think about the idea. It was crack in his usual calm demeanor, but he only went along with the plan because he thought you’d like it or at least laugh.

- Yukimiya likes seeing you smile, enjoyed the way your eyes crinkle and the glow that always appeared. So, he bought red silk and with some complications, he managed to wrap himself up, tie his wrists behind his back and have a big red bow on the top of his head.

- Inside, he was slightly embarrassed, but your reaction was worth it.

⋆⁺₊❅.☃︎ ᴋᴀʀᴀsᴜ ᴛᴀʙɪᴛᴏ

- You brought the idea up as a joke, then it turned into playful argument of who would be the one getting wrapped up. That eventually settled to a bet between the two of you which you ultimately lost.

- Karasu bought the silk in a nice blue shade because he claimed it looks better on your skin (really, it’s just because he’s based). He wrapped you up, making sure it was loose enough before placing a blue bow on top of your head.

- With your consent, he took pictures of you for safekeeping and also to look back on later. He debated whether he should leave you like that, before you (jokingly) threatened him and he carefully took the wraps off after that.

⋆⁺₊❅.☃︎ ᴏᴛᴏʏᴀ ᴇɪᴛᴀ

- This bastard (not exactly affectionately) has been planning this for a while now (either with you or someone else…). Turns out luck isn’t on your side as he had chosen you.

- Otoya made sure he looked good with little effort. The green silk (because why would he buy red?) was loose so you could get a good view of him and the bow was no where to be found. And did he expect this plan to woo you to work? Of course.

- Make sure to slap him back into reality.

how do you spend your free time? currently (literally two seconds ago) i’ve been playing persona 4, writing and coming up with ideas for my blog, and generally taking it slow.

what are your hobbies and how did you get into them? i’ve love reading (especially manga and comics). video games has always been my safe space (and sometimes does get on my nerves) and writing is something i’ve been slowly building up on in liking.

what book or movie left a lasting impression on you? um… i can’t really think of any. i was going to joke and say shrek because that’s my favorite movie. book wise it would be Of Mice and Men because the ending killed me inside.

what kind of music do you enjoy? persona soundtracks all the way, r&b, spanish, kpop (and jpop), a little bit of country, rock, and almost everything that isn’t hard metal or edm. some artist i like are malcolm todd, tyler the creator, the marias, prince, new jeans!

who is your favorite character (atm or all time) and why? of all time it has to be iron man and luffy, they both bring a smile to my face every single time i see them. at the moment, since i’m playing p4, yosuke/kou/naoto have my heart and in blue lock, my favorite character is isagi (nagi and barou are close second)!

i will start first!

my name is rurumi and i enjoy spending my free time writing!

some of my hobbies (outside of writing) includes: drawing, building gundams and keyboards, and fashion! i got into most of them on a whim and became instantly hooked. aside from self-expression, being into fashion also helps with making friends in college because you always have something to talk about!

a book that left a lasting impression on me would have to be either kafka on the shore by haruki murakami or before the coffee gets cold by toshikazu kawaguchi. both stories have kept me up at night thinking a lot about the 'what ifs' in life.

i enjoy soul/r&b alongside anything of jrock influence, but i will basically listen to anything that sounds good. i am currently listening to 'so what' by lucy!

my favorite character at the moment is rin itoshi from blue lock because hes so ridiculously edgy, but at the same time i sympathize with him a lot. on the other hand, my favorite character of all time is suletta mecury from the witch from mercury series, she's an absolute ball of sunshine that i aspire to be.

- tried to do that yawning then resting his arm over your shoulder thing but failed miserably (bachira taught him… but didn’t exactly teach him well).

- he’s competitive, even with himself, and that would extent to trying to be the best boyfriend possible. he would always strive to outdo himself in terms of being caring, attentive, and supportive.

- respects your boundaries to the T. you don’t like holding hands in public? he’ll keep his hands to himself. you don’t like rollercoasters? he’ll stay on the ground with you.

- he takes GOOODDD pictures of you and will have you as his lock screen (with your permission).

- isagi’s dedication to soccer might sometimes take a toll on your relationship. his schedule could leave little quality time, so as his partner, you would need to be understanding about his commitment to his beloved sport.

- his analytical side would extent to studying your likes, dislikes, and habits. he would pay close attention to the little things that make you happy and do his best to incorporate those into your life together. small gestures of love and care would be his specialty.

- he would be nervous for PDA, but he would be more open it as time goes if you show that you like it.

- listens to your voicemails if he gets THAT lonely.

- makes an effort to be extra nice and polite to people you care about (e.g. your mother, best friend).
