sorry for not posting bank account is in dire straits from a quick holiday to dublin:’) i’m so glad spring is here everything feels so much better and i’m way more productive. went to the gym for my leg day and hit a 100kg hip thrust PR so feeling very good about myself 💋 stay tuned for more study content tomorrow !!!

🫧🫐today was a day of more walking up and down campus, today was about 5k steps - going to get the remaining 5k in during my evening gym sesh! but anyway i was so locked in at the library today idk if it’s because of this burning desire to get my grades up or because i’m really enjoying my subject but hey im not going to question it. i was sat there a good 4 hours combing through notes and some books that i ended up borrowing and lugging back to my room. i think i’ve made decent progress but the topic i’m on now for another module just has the most confusingggg lecturer and it’s taking longer than usual to learn it but i’m so certain it’s appearing in the exams so i’m not going to skim it.
overall i’m feeling optimistic about my progress👀

destroy the idea that intermediate goals aren’t important. maybe you can’t play the entire piano piece yet, but you can play the right hand and that’s good. maybe you haven’t figured out your major yet, but your minor or your field and that’s progress. maybe you can’t hold a full conversation in your target language yet, but you can ask for directions and that’s fine. setting high goals is good, but don’t diminish the small goals you achieve on your way there. they are just as important.

🎀🏹what i did yesterday! so glad i finally got an assignment out of the way. excited for tomorrow when i’m going to make a dent in exam prep and hit the gym. been slacking on cardio lately so will do some stairmaster, abs and maybe some upper body. i did a move with nicole pilates workout today but gave up towards the end (at least i did it!!!) going to start being more mindful with my time 🕰️
things to do (off the top of my head)😋
- summer internship applications (holding off bc fear of rejection…)
- emails to organisations for my extracurricular responsibilities
- get cracking on final exams prep (1+ month to go!)
- glow up journey; more consistent guasha routine, better sleep, grooming etc etc 🌟

keep forgetting to track my progress on here but once i get into the swing of things it’ll be super consistent 💋 this is what i did yesterday - got a delicious bagel with some tea (£1.80 for hot water and a tea bag ur joking) and got some work done. then took a stroll around my campus; look how gorgeousssss !! i’m looking forward to a month of levelling up and doing my very best in preparation for next semester 🧘‍♀️✨

to review when starting a new phase of your life
The positives of ‘putting yourself out there’ are worth it. Having a great conversation with a stranger will be worth the awkwardness of starting that exact conversation. Joining a small community of people you will see regularly is worth having to get through a scary first day. Getting your dream job is worth the scariness of chasing it. Don’t pick and choose experiences based on the level of ease now, but choose them based on how you want to come out of them.

today i was really tired but i realised i have 13 weeks! to my prelims! and i really want to achieve good grades for those.
so here’s what i accomplished off my to-do today:
✅ one part of my nitro compound tutorial
✅ 4 questions of mole concept revision
✅ IRAT + economics supplementary ws
✅ one gp AQ para (seen above!)
i didn’t manage to do my electrochem tutorial though, but i think it would be best if i took my time with it and tried to focus on revision, at least for chemistry.
will try to update this blog more frequently ❤️

guide to get organized and create habits in your life

maybe you think that with your current pace of life, all those things you have to do in the day, it is impossible to create a healthier lifestyle, that's only for people who have money or a lot of free time and it is not so, the key is in the organization and planning of your days, but more importantly: that you really want to level up.
steps to start.
eliminate your beliefs, "it's not possible", "it's not a realistic lifestyle", "it's not possible", or "it's not a realistic lifestyle". if you really want to improve there are no excuses, the only limits are created by you.
what are your goals? what do you want to achieve with all this? the most important thing is to have a healthy lifestyle, but besides that, it may bring you closer to future goals or become your best version to achieve what you want, whatever it is, with bad habits you can not succeed.
plan your days and get organized, you don't need much for this, you can get a weekly planner or write the night before in a to-do list what you have to do the next day, create a routine from that, incorporate into your days those new habits, you always have 30 minutes or 1 hour for exercise, for example, everything is a matter of organizing yourself, but remove the thought of "i don't have time".
create your own lifestyle, you can be inspired by what you see in social media but may not fit you or what you want to achieve, it is easier than it seems, you just have to be clear about what you would like and from there start with new habits or activities, just think: what would make the best version of myself?
start now, do not wait for tomorrow, start organizing how your day will be tomorrow, what things would you like to try, start with 5 minutes of yoga? read that book that you have postponed for a long time? do it and little by little create a routine. for example, you can start by going for a walk for 30 minutes 3 days a week, reading a book at least 15 minutes before bedtime, changing the convenience food for a healthier option and so with everything.
and enjoy the process, not the result, the important thing is to be happy with our life and lead a healthy pace, not the result we want to get, that will come but meanwhile, it is important to enjoy the small improvements that we are incorporating in our day to day.
small habits that you should incorporate into your new lifestyle.
drink plenty of water during the day
create good sleep schedules (you don't have to get up early, but get enough sleep to have energy the next day)
replace junk food for healthier options.
do any kind of exercise every day.
read things that nourish your mind.
limited time on social media, only consume that which is positive.
stop talking bad about others and yourself.
be aware of your health and self-worth.
meditate before waking up and before sleeping.
write a diary or keep a record of your days, so you can also motivate yourself and see your progress.
whatever makes you happy and is beneficial to you.

having a healthy lifestyle always has to be beneficial for you, you don't have to follow to the letter other people's routines or my recommendations, you don't have to force yourself to do things you don't like, just find what you enjoy and it will benefit you in the future, but always focus on you and what is best for you 🤍

wow, a post that’s actually on time! today was the day i had to slap myself into entering a season of productivity. it really is crunch time because if i don’t get into the ‘grindset’ (cringe, i know) now, i fear it will be too late. i have one more month to lay my foundations before year 2 starts, and it’s going to be so hectic and awful and stressful… im just dreading it. i can’t believe 2021 is coming to an end, this year was actually insane and my life changed so much. I’ve been feeling quite overwhelmed (lol what’s new) just thinking about how i have to start taking my career choices seriously, and signing up for a 5 day law webinar that commenced this week is not helping my case lmao. but I’ve learnt a lot about the legal profession, and it’s making me more driven (i hope). anyway, above is a short study session i forced myself to do after my course, and for dinner i had fried rice topped with green onions, spicy chilli oil, spicy prawn, fried onion and garlic salt and the flavours were such a 10837382/10 im smiling just thinking about it. ok that’s all for today, gonna get my beauty sleep now, bye!

on the 21st i remember waking up pretty early lolz ! i had no lectures and was pretty determined to have a productive day. tried to go to the gym but since my gym is small and people were in there i chickened out lmao. then i made some coffee and put a shit ton of cinnamon on top because christmas vibes. tasted kinda mid tho but it’s ok :’) ….then i hit the library and started off my study session by reviewing differentiation and integration (which I struggled with and gave up on after like 30 min 🤠) and then proceeded to look through my econs finals paper to analyse my mistakes and come up with a plan to avoid them. ended the session with a geog lecture that had been in my backlog for a while now. treated myself with a white choc macadamia cookie from subway after :)

lol this is super late as usual but….on the 15th i hit up one of the biggest libraries on my way home from college to grind. it was after my macro lecture and honestly i didn’t feel super productive but i pushed thru and did what i could. i did mostly geography i think¿ basically i caught up on lectures and filmed myself making notes. i think i did a bit of organic chem before that but i can’t remember which subtopics i touched on specifically. maybe it was that traumatic lol. tried to take aesthetic library pics and kinda failed!! LOL but then i came home to this delicious beef and veggie stir fry which tasted sooo goood with rice. and i ended the day by watching my c drama :))) hope u guys are doing great !!!! <3

late post! but my finals are over and im so happy that i have time to study without stress. ironically i procrastinate more during exam szn and am more productive when there aren’t any tests or exams LOL. seems like something i should work on… but ugh exams are so daunting and my mental health just takes a dive :( anyway my day on the 9th was pretty productive. grabbed breakfast with a friend from college after our morning lecture, and studied with them at the library for 2h ish¿ then ended the day by meeting up with my besties from secondary school and having an amazing dinner (still thinking about that dumpling noodle soup 🤤) anyway those are some notes i took during my macroecon lecture that day. we’ve just started on macro and I’m…optimistic. though i absolutely need to revise my micro this holiday as well lol. anyway, otw home rn! might post a study timelapse by tmr… we’ll see !!! :)
