Alright this is the last fic I'm making and posting this year! Thank you everyone who's been supporting me this year. Thank you for the likes, comments and especially the reblogs 💜 Thank you for the laughs and companionship. Thank you for simply being you and in my orbit 🥰
For @clone-wars-winter-challenge with the prompt "Northern Lights"
Warnings: Reader has no pronouns but probably makes more sense being a jedi or senator/senatorial aid. Bodyguard trope - Fordo sticks with you and he loves it hates it. Reader is stated to be born in a small village during winter. Tbh I think that's it. It's just fluff 🤣
Vibes 👇
Your Lights
Fordo x Reader
You grinned as you stretched your arms out and flopped into the snow below, gleefully letting out a shriek at the familiar cold as it touched your skin.
"What was the point in the mat?"
You peeked your head back and let your eyes land upon your rather muted companion, his form suspended in the top of your vision while the sky was in the bottom of it. His face held an annoyed grimmace yet one that didn't hold too much distain for your childish bliss as you continued enjoying the land of your birth. However he did seem upset that you'd not only forced him out into the blisterly weather, but that you had entirely disregarded the supplies you asked him to bring along.
"Ah...I'm sorry" You smiled sheepish but unable to put your smile away despite all your senatorial training
Fordo sighed but nodded curtly in response, then stared down at you as he waited for you to move.
"Have you ever been to somewhere like this?" You asked, dragging yourself to your feet and brushing the snow from your form
"I've seen snow before" came his quiet answer, his hands and mind too occupied with settling the thermal mat and blanket
"This planet?" you asked again
Your companion paused for a moment, in thought, then shook his head. The large clone then reached out his hand towards you, open and waiting.
When you took it, you let him guide you to sit upon the mat before joining you himself.
Promptly upon his seating, Fordo grabbed the blanket and wrapped you in it.
"Why here?" He asked, his dark hues travelling across the snowscape of hills and mountains before you both.
It was beautiful, he could easily admit, but there was little in the way of civilization or camodity. Just a small village in the valley below with a few shops and the hotspring venue you had booked your shared stay at.
"Because this place is important" you said matter of factly, opening the side of the blanket up to snuggle close to him and wrap it around his form as well.
Fordo huffed at you, trying to untangle - he didnt need this afterall, his armour kept the cold mostly at bay - but after a few moments of meeting your own stubbornness headon, he elected to just give in.
It was a nice, warm blanket after all...
Your companion then looked to you for more of an explaination, he watched your face pass through a few emotions before you pressed the side of your head to his shoulder
"I was born here" you answered quietly "On a night that the lights were at their brightest and my family was convinced that meant i was to do something great in my life"
The clone nodded softly at the information, acknowledging it, then followed your gaze to the village.
"It's...nice..." he mumbled out
You let out a small snort at his words
"You don't need to strain yourself" you teased "The real reason, to this location specifically, is to see the same lights. I understand they'll be bright in the sky soon - I'd love to show them to you"
The Alpha class clone glanced to the sky, then back to meet your expectant gaze. How your hues so deeply searched his for an answer.
"If...you'd rather not-"
"I want to" he determined pointedly, his hold on you tightening just a smidge
You beamed brightly at his response, giddy and excessively happy, and settled your head against his shoulder
"Perfect"
The two of you fell into a comfortable silence, one that you knew well from all the time Fordo had spent being at your side. He wasn't much of a talker, just said what he needed to get his thoughts across and rarely more. But that was one of the things you admired most about him - his ability to be concise and so sure in his words, sure his sentiments were being set out in the best way possible.
"Which one?"
You peeked at him confused at his sudden ask
"Sorry?"
Fordo nodded to the village below with a curious glint in his eyes and upon following his gaze your mind filled in the gap
"The house with both chimneys on the right side" you mumbled softly "It's not very lavish, in courascant's eyes, but its warm and cozy"
Your dear clone nodded at the information, his attention zeroed in on the house you'd pointed to - Imagining what it was like inside, what it was like to grow up in a home that was referred to as 'warm' and 'cozy', and what a young version of you looked like - suddenly wishing very much he could peek into the past to see so for himself.
"Sounds nice" he murmured to the wind as it tossled you both the tiniest bit.
Fordo peeked down to you as you seemed entirely content with just being huddled in the thermal blanket with him. Your name bubbled up his throat and out of his lips like the sweetest and most ardent of reverent pleas before his mind even recognized he'd felt such a thing. And once it had, he found your own orbs staring very intently back at his own dark pools - your entire attention focused right on him and waiting.
The two of you had just fallen into another comforting, although a tad wondering, silence when you gasped suddenly and grabbed his chin to urge him to turn away and to the sky
"Look!" you cheered excitedly, your hand stilled on his face while your eyes glued themselves to the wild canvas before and above you both in awe.
Fordo, forced to look where you were, let his eyes take in the magnificent display of waving and churning colour.
Lines seemed to blurr as the colours seemed flat yet reaching towards him all at the exact same time. His eyes widening as he watched all he could, the vivid green, blue, magenta, red and gold reminding him of the very same beams of conscentrated light that the jedi used to fight with.
"Have you ever seen something even remotely this beautiful...?" you gawked, entraced by the colours
At the sound of your voice calling him back to reality, the large clone within your shared warm blanket turned to you as all pretense and protocol melted away in this moment of raw emotion. In which they stole away with his heart in this one breath to let him tenderly regard you. And just as the delightful cacophany of bewitching colours waltzing across the sky, now did a much smaller version across your face in illumination.
Focusing on how wonder and glee filled you, how your face grew soft and sweet as if you were experiencing the sight for the first time - despite your urgency to ensure that he'd seen it for himself. The very same lights he had absolutely not interest in seeing, not now anyway.
Now, he was more than content to entirely disregard the natural wonder to take in a sight he felt rose so much higher above within his heart.
"More" he whispered sweetly "much more"
Fordo's gaze never left yours, unwaveringly so.
It took some time before you had clued into his words properly. But when you had, your surprised gaze met his devotional one.
"So much more beautiful"

Willing Surrender
Week 12 ~ gift wrap ~
Word Count: 836 Content: NSFW 18+ MDNI; established relationship Tech x Phee, brotherly affection in the form of a prank, kink discovery (bondage; dom/sub), dom!Phee/sub!Tech
@clone-wars-winter-challenge
Mando’a Guide: kov'nyn - head-butt
“This is a completely ludicrous idea,” Tech protested as he struggled against his restraints. “Untie me immediately!”
“Not happening,” Crosshair smirked from the sidelines.
Tech glared at his twin, the message obvious: traitor.
“I don’t get why you’re makin’ such a big fuss,” Wrecker laughed. “Thought you like Phee!”
“Oh, he does, Wreck,” Echo jeered, dodging Tech’s attempt at a kov’nyn. “That’s why he’s fighting it so hard and his face is so red.”
“I am not red–”
“Alright, he’s done,” Hunter said as he tied the ends of the wrapping in a haphazard bow on Tech’s chest. “Let ‘im go, Wrecker.”
Wrecker nodded. The four of them released their brother, who stopped struggling, accepting his fate as they led him to his doom.
To die of embarrassment wasn’t quite the end he’d expected for himself, but at least it would only be painful to his pride.
“Hunter, you ring the bell,” Echo instructed when they’d arrived at their destination. “You’re fastest.”
Crosshair, having the neatest handwriting, taped the flimsi sign he’d written made to Tech’s chest, smirking at him the whole way.
-
Phee hadn’t been expecting company. Most of the residents of Pabu had probably gone to bed by now. And the one who wouldn’t have? Well, Tech hadn’t rung the doorbell for nearly a year; he had an open invitation that he utilized near-constantly when she was on world.
That drive of curiosity that had underscored her entire life carried her to the door, pressing the button to open it.
Standing before her was that familiar, bespectacled face, redder than Hunter’s bandana. From his shoulders to his hips, he’d been restrained with ribbon, though she expected there was likely rope or binders beneath the decorative surface.
“This was not my idea, nor did I approve of it,” Tech huffed.
She tried to keep her smile sympathetic, despite how badly she wanted to laugh. “I don’t doubt that, Brown Eyes.”
She pulled the flimsi note from his chest, reading it aloud. “‘Happy Life Day from the Bad Batch’, huh?”
“They are observing us from the bushes,” he said, his voice dropping to a volume she was sure only she–and Hunter–could hear.
“That so?” she whispered back. “Want to have some fun with them?”
Tech scowled. “What do you mean?”
Phee leaned closer. “Assuming Hunter doesn’t tell the others, I think we could… cause some regret on their part.”
Tech watched her curiously. “Anything to get me untied sooner, cyar’ika.”
She smirked, then pressed her hand to his chest, backing him away from the door. “Let’s see you then,” she said, her voice performatively louder. She circled him, pulling the ribbon away to reveal the rope beneath. “Who tied these knots? Hunter?”
“Yes,” Tech answered.
She roughly grabbed his face by the chin, forcing him to look at her. “‘Yes,’ what?”
Tech blinked for a second before realizing her plan. “Y-yes, ma’am,” he stammered, hoping it was the right answer. “Echo and Wrecker assisted them, ma’am.”
“Their knots are sloppy,” Phee continued, her tone slipping into one she’d never used around Tech. “If I didn’t have such a pretty little present in front of me already, I’d have each of them over my knee for this mess.”
From the hedge nearby, they could hear hushed laughter, arguing, and a scramble to run.
“Yes, ma’am,” Tech repeated.
“I think they’re gone, Brown Eyes,” she chuckled, lightly pressing against his shoulder to guide him inside.
As she worked the knots undone, she could see the rigidity and tension in his form.
“Did I make you uncomfortable?” she asked. “I should have told you my plan instead of just springing–”
“I enjoyed it,” Tech blurted out before he could stop it. He could feel the heat–hotter than a sun, he was sure–returning to his face.
Phee’s eyebrows lifted in surprise. “Did you now?” she hummed, taking hold of his chin again, though gentler this time. “Tell me what you enjoyed about all that.”
Tech shuddered beneath her touch. “The… simulated loss of control was… well, that is not quite right,” he murmured, scowling at his seeming inability to adequately describe his own feelings. “Not a loss of control, but perhaps a…”
“Willing surrender?” Phee filled in for him.
“Yes, I- I believe that is accurate,” he said, his face on fire.
Phee’s brow lifted, her grip on his face tightening so slightly he thought he’d imagined it.
“Y-yes, ma’am,” he quickly stammered.
Phee chuckled as she released him, her eyes drinking in the shudder that rolled through his body. “What are you thinking right now?” she asked, her tone shifting back to the normal, easy way she spoke with him. The game was over… for the moment.
Tech considered this for a moment. “For once in my life… there is not much,” he said. “I… I think I would like to discuss… this.”
Phee’s eyes flitted down his body to the straining bulge in his pants, her smile growing hungry. “Well then,” she said, licking her lips. “Let’s talk.”

Week 13 ~ happy new year ~ first kiss ~
Word Count: 1409 (damn, and Echo doesn't even cameo in this one) Content: suggestive and implied sexual relationship, so 18+; friends with benefits/situationship/no strings attached, everybody lives/no O66/fix-it AU, New Year's Eve parties, masc!reader (referred to as "the man of the hour", alcohol, New Year's Kiss, establishing the relationship, first kiss
@clone-wars-winter-challenge
Mando'a Guide: cyar'ad - lover di'kutla gote'nu'amyc osik - stupid natborn shit
The cold breeze blew right through your jacket, sending a chill down your back. The way this section of your level was built practically turned it into a wind tunnel with all the general winds conjoining and blowing through here.
Luckily, it was only a couple blocks to get to the rail system from your tiny apartment, and then a ten-minute ride to get to your boyfriend’s office, conveniently located near the rail station.
You chuckled to yourself. He couldn’t stand the term “boyfriend”. He’d assured you with a glare that he very much enjoyed the arrangement the two of you had and that he didn’t need some inane title to define it, but then you’d suggested “cyar’ad” from his native tongue and he showed his appreciation–thoroughly with that tongue.
You glanced at your chrono as you boarded the rail car, stomach fluttering anxiously. 23:46. You’d be cutting it close, but his coworkers knew you and would likely have partners to celebrate, even if they couldn’t leave the station.
If anyone asked, of course, you’d take all the credit for it–most of them were certain no one else would want anything to do with them–but you’d persisted, setting up a sort of system that blossomed into a full-fledged business after the war ended.
You smiled as you thought of all the vode–as they preferred to be called now–you’d helped find partners over the past year. Many were apprehensive, but as S.066 –better known as the Vode Rights Bill–passed in the Galactic Senate and the researchers working with the Jedi Healers discovered a way to slow their accelerated aging, so many vode suddenly had no excuse to avoid making a family.
The rail car dinged, pulling your attention back to the task at hand; you needed to get to him before midnight.
You joined the small mass of people deboarding the rail car, conviction fueling your every step, despite the nervousness making your hands shake.
As soon as the door to the Coruscant Guard Headquarters slid open before you, you were bombarded by the party going on inside. Streamers were hanging from the walls, balloons had floated up to the ceiling, and confetti poppers were being popped all around. Unlike most other spaces–including the party you’d just left–the room notably did not smell of alcohol. Those vode in the station were technically on duty, you supposed.
“Hey, there’s the man of the hour!” someone shouted, scattered cheers following it.
You didn’t need to ask who’d noticed you as your legs went under attack–an excited massiff rubbing and pawing at you.
“Hello Grizzer,” you chuckled, scratching the good boy on the head, before looking up to his smirking handler. “How’s it going, Hound?”
“Couldn’t be better,” he grinned as he shook your hand. He tipped his head to gesture towards the mirialan woman standing by his side. You remembered her, of course; you hadn’t forgotten a face that walked into your little office so far.
“Leka!” you beamed, shaking her hand as well. “I hope the sergeant here has been treating you well?”
“Yes, he’s been quite wonderful,” she practically gushed, leaning towards you conspiratorially. “He’s more of a sweetheart than he’d lead you to believe, but he certainly lives up to his name in the bedroom.”
You laughed as Hound’s face turned the shade of his armor. “I’m happy as long as you’re both happy,” you said. “And I promise I’ll catch up with you soon, but I’m on a sort of mission myself.”
“Oh, don’t let us keep you!” Leka grinned knowingly. “And tell the commander Happy New Year from us!”
You smiled and nodded as you waded through the masses, your name being called in greeting as more of your clients noticed you. You waved at all of them, your heart soaring to see so many of them with their partners.
You finally made it to the hallway that held his office, stopping in front of his closed door. You took a breath and glanced at your chrono. 23:58.
Now or never, you thought as you hit the button.
Fox’s seldom-unworn helmet sat on his desk, discarded in favor of the drink he was downing. He was in the rest of his armor. You knew he preferred it to regular clothes, or “that di’kutla gote’nu’amyc osik.”
You smirked, crossing your arms as the door slid shut behind you. “Drinking on duty? Now that’s not very becoming of a commander, is it?”
His throat bobbed as he swallowed his drink. He scoffed. “I’m not on duty. Aren’t you supposed to be at Organa’s party?”
“I already was, though I could ask you the same,” you retorted. “I seem to remember the Chancellor inviting you specifically.”
You thought Fox rolled his eyes, but it was fast enough you couldn’t be sure you hadn’t just imagined it.
“Besides,” you added, moving to stand behind his desk, less than a foot between you. “There’s something I wanted to talk to you about.”
Fox’s deep brown eyes searched your face. The intensity of his gaze always brought a heat to your cheeks. He nodded–your cue to start.
“I was thinking about our… arrangement,” you started, your eyes instinctually flitting away. “I think–”
Fox’s gloved hand reached up, two fingers catching under your chin to tilt your face back up to him. He didn’t speak for a moment, letting your words die out in your throat. Distantly, you wondered if he could hear your heart as it pounded against your ribs.
“Tell me, not the desk,” he murmured. You could smell the whiskey on his breath, and you were sure he could smell the champagne on yours.
“I think we should end it,” you said, the words rushing out like a dam breaking.
Fox’s typically carefully neutral mask slipped, if only for a moment. “I see.” His hand retreated from your chin. He cleared his throat as he combed his fingers through the thick curls that hung over his forehead, brushing them back, only for them to fall back into his face. “Thank you… for letting me know.”
He turned away from you, pretending to busy himself with a datapad. Confusion clouded your brain. Wait, did you–
“Fuck,” you swore under your breath. “Fox, I didn’t mean–”
“It’s fine,” he said, waving you off. “I knew you’d get too busy to deal with me anymore.”
You could hear the others outside the small office beginning to count down from ten.
“No, I’m not– I mean, I am busy, but that’s not–”
Fox said your name, sharp, irritated. “I said it’s fine. Can’t you just–”
You growled in frustration, grabbing him by the edges of his chestplate, and pulling him to you.
As the countdown reached “one”, you could hear celebratory shouts and fireworks, but it all faded away as you pressed your lips against Fox’s.
Despite all the times you’d slept with him over the past year and a half, you’d both observed a strict “no strings attached” attitude, which put anything romantic–like dates, post-sex cuddling, and kissing on the lips–off-limits. You were both free to see anyone you wanted, asking only that you both get tested regularly. But you just couldn’t bottle up your true feelings for him anymore.
His lips were as soft as you’d imagined, having only felt them elsewhere on your body before, and you immediately missed them against you as you both pulled away breathlessly.
His voice came back first, though it was rough and stammering. “I– that was– you–”
You huffed a light chuckle. “I wanted to be the first one you kissed in the new year,” you murmured.
Fox blinked at you, clearly struggling to understand. “But we– you said–”
“It didn’t come out right,” you explained. “I want to end the arrangement we have because I want more with you. Just you. You’ve been the only one for over a year.”
The mask was gone. Something like hopefulness filled his eyes as he searched you for any hint of a cruel prank. He must have been satisfied with what he saw because before you knew it, his hands cupped either side of your face, pulling it back to meet him in a deeper, more passionate kiss. It was sweeter than any kiss you’d had before. When he finally pulled away, he rested his forehead against yours, humming your name again and again like a breathless prayer.
“You were always the only one, cyar’ad.”

A Different Kind Of Fireworks (One-Shot)
This is my entry for week 13 of The Clone Wars Winter Spectacular 2024 / @clone-wars-winter-challenge !
I'm still working on week 12's entry because of Christmas and all that stuff. I had intended to write this fic with Tup, but I was feeling quite down so chose to write this with Echo instead (since he's my major comfort character). I had so much fun writing this and am feeling much better now <3
Summary: You’re excited to watch the Coruscanti fireworks for the first time - but preferably with someone special Rating: Teen and up Tags: fluff, anxiety, mutual pining, friends to lovers, kissing, first kiss, New Years Words: 2.062 Pairing: 501st Echo x gen!reader Prompts: Happy New Year / "Baby It's Cold Outside" / *First Kiss* Read this one-shot here on AO3 week 11 < | week 12 < | ↓
A new year, a new beginning. At least, that’s what you were hoping for. You had moved to Coruscant after the war had started, trying to help out wherever you could. But it had been a rather lonely endeavour, leaving everything and everyone you knew behind. You were happy to get to know a handful of the millions of clone troopers who risked their lives to protect the Republic, even when you knew their chances of survival were slim. But getting to know some of them helped you feel more comfortable around the place, and you liked the thought of making their rotations a little bit brighter.
And one of them seemed to be making your own rotations a bit brighter as well.
You sat at 79’s counter, fidgeting with the rim of your sleeve. You felt hopeful for him to appear and at the same time, devastated because he probably wouldn’t. So many of them didn’t return after a mission or a campaign, and you felt like his chances were dwindling every time he was being sent out again. You were probably getting yourself hurt for attaching yourself to him, but you couldn’t help it; the short moments you had spent with him had been worth all the worrying.
Completely lost in your own thoughts, you almost missed the small group of clones entering the cantina. It was the loud voices of two of them that made you snap back into reality, and when you glanced over hopefully, an enthusiastic smile appeared on your face when you finally noticed him. You turned around on your barstool a bit awkward; you tried acting casually, but from the inside, you were bustling with anticipation. You almost couldn’t wait to spend the evening with him, now that he was back on Coruscant. Especially this evening.
“Fives, I’m telling you, disabling an AAT does not count towards your killstreak,” you heard Jesse’s voice shouting over the crowd. Fives waved his brother’s remark away with a smug expression on his face. “Well, tell that to the shinies I saved by doing so,” came his reply, earning him a subtle head shake from Echo. “Is it really called a killstreak if it’s clankers? I mean, we don’t kill any of them, technically,” Echo remarked, being practical as ever, making you chuckle softly. “But what if we shoot them into oblivion and there’s nothing left to be remade?” Jesse added to the discussion, as he raised an eyebrow and folded his arms. Another head shake from Echo, before he replied: “You can’t kill something that’s not alive.”
“They feel alive enough to me,” Fives replied with a sigh, before a silence washed over them. But after a brief moment, Fives’ gaze reached you. You were still sitting on the barstool, a sheepish smile appearing on your face when he noticed you, awkwardly waving to them as a welcome. Fives’ expression lit up in an instant, before his lips slid into a mischievous smirk. He bumped his elbow into Echo before he nodded towards you. “Speaking about feeling alive,” he snickered to his brother, not loud enough for you to hear.
Echo’s face brightened in an instant when he noticed you, but he tried to hide his enthusiasm, pushing away Fives’ arm before he mustered the courage to walk up towards you. Fives and Jesse followed close behind. “I was afraid you guys wouldn’t be around to celebrate tonight,” you smiled at them when they reached you, saving your most genuine smile for Echo. You looked away a bit flustered when his gaze met yours, turning back towards the bar to order some new drinks.
“We wouldn’t want to miss spending it with you,” Fives grinned, landing a heavy hand on Echo’s shoulder as he spoke the words. Echo tried shrugging it off, but his brother was very persistent. “I tried claiming a booth,” you said whilst grabbing the freshly poured drinks and handing them to the boys, “but as you can see, it’s quite crowded tonight.” You handed Echo’s glass last, and when you did, your fingers briefly touched. You felt how a warm feeling erupted inside you and made for your head, so you quickly turned your face away from him.
“As was expected,” Jesse said with a click of his tongue whilst looking around, taking the crowded place in. When he returned his attention to the group, he raised his drink before you all clinked your glasses together and drank your beverages. “We could have made a pretty impressive fireworks show ourselves,” he continued, after finishing his drink. “I mean, I know a few troopers from the 501st who would love to help put something together.” You chuckled softly, picturing the spectacle Jesse was talking about, before addressing them. “I’d love to see that one day. But for tonight, I’m more than excited to watch Coruscant’s fireworks.”
---
The lot of you had been able to confiscate a booth later during the evening, and were enjoying each other's company with more stories, drinks and laughter. You had subtly slid on the couch at Echo’s side, trying to sit close to him, but not too close to make it any suspicious. You talked about their missions and your work back at Coruscant, but also managed to inform them about the current state of Coruscant and the Republic. When it was nearly midnight, you started shifting in your seat.
“Got some place to go?” Fives asked you with another of his trademark smirks; of course he had noticed the shift in your demeanour - and felt the need to make a remark about it. You swallowed whilst picking your next words carefully. “I, er- I’d like to go watch the fireworks outside. I don’t suppose any of you want to join?” Fives leaned backwards in his seat, the content look on his face not making you any more comfortable about his intentions.
Whilst Fives remained silent for a chance, Jesse started nodding enthusiastically. Although he preferred creating their own fireworks show, he didn’t mind watching this one - for his own pleasure, or to boast about how much more interesting he could make his own show. He was ready to jump to his feet, but got discouraged by Fives’ hand on his shoulder. You had no idea what Fives was up to, but the stern look he shot Jesse did make the latter change his mind. “Baby, it’s, er- it’s cold outside,” he stammered slowly, not as confident as he had been before.
Fives looked back at you, clicking his tongue in defeat, slowly shaking his head to show you how much he agreed with his brother. It was cold outside, and warm inside - and there was booze here. And Jesse’s words about them being able to create a better show kept repeating in your mind. You should have known they didn’t return to Coruscant to watch the fireworks with you. As you shyly lowered your gaze, it was lost on you how Fives shifted his attention towards Echo, giving him an encouraging nod towards you.
Echo clearing his throat made you look up at him, dread taking you in its grasp as you were preparing yourself for another rejection. But the soft look on his face made you regain hope. “I’d like to accompany you outside,” he said to you, his voice practical as always, but there was a warmth to it you only noticed in his voice. With eyes wide open, you looked up at him, almost in disbelief. “Y-you would?” Instead of a spoken reply, he rose to his feet and granted you a welcoming gesture with his hand, silently asking you to join him. Your face was beaming when you did. “I guess until next year,” Fives grinned as you and Echo made for 79’s exit.
---
The Coruscanti nightlife was bustling like always, but you still managed to find a spot near the edge in front of 79’s, overlooking one of the planet’s many entertainment districts. The view was breathtaking, and all the movement and lights below almost looked like the fireworks show had already started. And besides, you were alone with Echo; even if the show wouldn’t be as spectacular as you were hoping, this night would be perfect regardless.
“Thanks for joining me outside,” you said softly, your voice just loud enough to carry over the noises around you. “Of course,” he smiled at you, leaning his forearms on the balustrade in front of you. He let his gaze slide over the view in front of you, and you watched how a soft breeze played with his hair. It wasn’t as wild and wavy as Fives’, but you noticed he wasn’t wearing the standard clone haircut anymore. You wanted to run your fingers through his subtle curls, to feel the warmth coming from his skin, to drown yourself in his eyes - but you didn’t know how to tell him what you felt for him.
You shifted on your feet nervously and chuckled, trying to regain yourself from your wandering thoughts. The sound of your soft laughter made him look at you with an adoration that made you almost melt on the spot. When you tried keeping the conversation going, you stammered to get the words out right. “I-I’ve actually never seen the, er- the fireworks before. Here on Coruscant, that is.” He huffed at your words, and you didn’t know if it was from amusement or irony. “Me neither,” he said softly, casting his eyes down for a moment before he found yours again.
And for a moment, you lost yourself in them. His eyes were the most beautiful, lively ones you had ever seen, and it looked like they held a galaxy of their own; they were smouldering like embers in a fire, shining like a rippling stream on a warm planet. They were calming, and the comfort they brought you wrapped you like a blanket. “That doesn’t surprise me,” was your reply, but you didn’t know if it was merely a thought or if you really spoke them out loud.
After a moment in which you had lost all conscience of time, you noticed a playful flicker in his eyes just before his lips started moving. “Don’t forget about the fireworks,” he said to you, his lips landing shut into an amused smile. You almost did forget about the fireworks. And if you had, you felt like you hadn’t missed a thing. You blinked a few times, getting back into reality only to realise the fireworks had indeed started already. You suddenly noticed the loud explosions around you, the lights painting the city in a different light, the sounds of wonder and excitement around you.
In awe, you silently mouthed a ‘wow’ as you beheld the spectacle of fireworks all around you. It was everything you had hoped for - and so much more, with Echo by your side. “It’s so pretty!” you said out loud after some more gazing, and with enthusiasm beaming from your face, you turned back to Echo, meeting his warm eyes again. “Yeah, it is,” was his reply, as he was already - or still - looking at you. He seemed completely taken by you, mesmerised by the way the lights reflected in your eyes. You suddenly wondered if he was even talking about the fireworks.
“W-what?” you murmured softly, just before you got pushed towards him due to all the excitement around you, making you bump into Echo. He caught you, gently wrapping his arms around you to make sure you couldn’t be tossed about any more. Your breath got caught in the back of your throat just when you looked back up at him, suddenly recognising the longing radiating from his face - the same longing you had been feeling towards him.
“Happy New Year,” he whispered softly, just loud enough for you to hear, before he leaned towards you. And in a moment where everything around you started to blur and you forgot everything about the fireworks you had been so eager to see, he pressed his lips against yours. And with it, he warmed your body, he eased your mind and he satisfied your longing. For a moment, there wasn’t a worry in the galaxy as you were experiencing this different kind of fireworks. With this first kiss, he had made the new beginning you had hoped for.
Fives would make such a great wingman (especially to Echo) <3

Gingerbread Mess (Drabble)
This is my entry for week 11 of The Clone Wars Winter Spectacular 2024 / @clone-wars-winter-challenge !
I had something completely different in mind, but couldn't get it written. I'll try another time, so for now, have this little drabble!
Summary: A mess in the kitchen turns into a wholesome activity anyway Rating: General audiences Tags: drabble, fluff, Life Day Words: 100 Pairing: Wrecker x gen!reader Prompts: Christmas/Life Day Vacation / Gingerbread House Read this drabble here on AO3 week 10 | ↓ | week 12
With folded arms, you looked down at your gingerbread house creation. It was a complete mess; crooked walls that didn’t fit together properly, the icing too runny or too solid, sweet decorations slowly sliding down the roof.
“Ya know.. I’d still live there with you,” Wrecker said at last, trying to comfort your disappointment. But there was no need; this afternoon during your Life Day vacation had been the best one in ages. You turned towards him, the most affectionate smile adorning your face. “What about eating it with me?” “Aye, I can do that,” he finally grinned at you.

The Greatest Honor
Week 11 ~ Christmas Life Day vacation ~
Word Count: 747 Content: brief suggestive themes, 18+ MDNI, teasing, marriage proposal
@clone-wars-winter-challenge
Mando’a Guide: cyar'ika - sweetheart, darling
“Seriously, Cody,” you whined. “Where are we going?”
Your partner simply smirked as the two of you made the jump into hyperspace.
“Where’s the fun in telling you that?” he chuckled.
“It would be nice to be able to anticipate… anything about this trip you’ve planned out,” you huffed.
“But then it wouldn’t be a surprise!”
That smug bastard. You had half a mind to wipe that goofy grin right off his face.
“Fine,” you sighed. “Can you at least tell me how long until we get there?”
“Just a couple hours.”
“Then I’m going to take a nap,” you told him as you started to walk back to the bunks in the back of the ship.
“You know,” he started, with that tone. He was somewhat terrible at flirting, but you could always tell when he was trying. “We’ve got a couple hours to kill, all by ourselves…”
He let the implication hang in the air.
You chuckled, walking back to him in the pilot’s chair, straddling his lap. You could feel him growing to strain against his pants.
“Are you going to tell me what you have planned?” you whispered.
He whimpered as you rolled your hips. “That- that’s not f-fair.”
You loved how flustered he got any time you took charge. It wouldn’t win you over this time. “Then you can take care of this,” you rolled your hips again and he sighed. “By yourself for now.” You winked and pressed a peck to his cheek, before getting up and walking back to the bunks to nap.
You woke to his gentle touch cupping your cheek. You hadn’t realized how cold you’d gotten until you were nuzzling against his constantly warm hand.
“C’mon, cyar’ika,” he laughed. “We’re here.”
You groaned as he slipped his arms under yours, pulling you from the bunk.
He smiled at you as you found yourself upright. He walked over to the bag he’d packed for you–he’d even refused to let you pick out your own clothes–and pulled a few items from it.
“Put these on,” he instructed, handing you a thick jacket, a hat, and gloves. “You’re gonna need them.”
“Cody, what are you up to?” you chuckled as you did as he asked.
“You’ll see.”
As the ramp lowered, you were met with a sight you hadn’t seen in… maker, you didn’t even know how long.
It was nearly twilight, the sun hanging low in the sky, painting a soft, warm palette over the snowy landscape. Your eyes landed on a nearby tree. Its trunk was thick and tall, with endless branches stemming off, covered in snow and ice rather than its usual blue leaves and white flowers. It was beautiful, but your eyes welled up as you realized what seeing this tree meant.
“Is- is this?” you stammered, pulling your watery gaze from the sight to face your partner’s wide smile. “Oh, Cody, did you bring me home?”
He nodded. “You said you missed the seasons and winter on your planet, so I thought maybe you’d want to–”
“You thought right,” you whispered breathlessly, pulling him into a long kiss.
You pulled away, smiling as he seemed to take a moment before letting his eyes flutter open.
“I got us a hotel in town so we didn’t have to sleep on the ship,” he told you as he brought you under the tree to a wooden swing.
“How long can we stay?” you asked.
“There’s a week-long festival for Life Day, but we can stay as long as you like.”
You laughed. “Maker, you really did plan it all out, didn’t you?”
Cody chuckled, his hand fidgeting in his pocket.
“What?” you teased. “You look nervous.”
Cody scoffed, shaking his head as he said your name. “Cyar’ika, I don’t think you realize just how much you mean to me.” He took your hand in his. “I wasn’t built for this kind of thing. I was made to be a war machine, a ruthless killer, but then the war ended. And you found me,” he chuckled. “I was a goner the second you started talking to me.”
Realization started to click in your mind, only to be confirmed by the way he lowered to one knee.
“You are everything to me,” he said, using your full name. “Just to be near you for the rest of my life would be the greatest honor I could ever dream of. Will you marry me?”
You just about tackled him. “Yes!”

Originally this was supposed to be Wolffe x reader where you're at a party enjoying goodies with Papa Plo and the Wolfpack...but it didnt stay that way 🤣
P.s. Thank you @dystopicjumpsuit (and the Plo simps) for coming to the conclusion Plo bakes good cookies!
Using the prompt Holiday Cookies for @clone-wars-winter-challenge !
Warnings: mentions of sw typical violence and treatment of clones, papa plo is nosy, reader has no formal pronouns but is a strategist, secret relationship, 1 mention of children. If I missed something lemme know
Buir's Cookies
Wolffe x Reader
When you'd been invited to the temple by general Plo Koon, you originally had thought it was because you were in trouble. Perhaps you had given the wrong maps, calculated the wrong trajectory, anticipated the wrong strategy for a battle...perhaps your battle plan had resulted in a great loss - though you never got any report saying such...
Regardless, you put on your best clothes, did yourself up the best and most professional-ish way you could and made your way over.
You'd never been in the temple before, only ever saw glimpses of it from afar. So standing at the enterance now, amongst the excessively large statues...well you'd be lying if you said you had nerves of beskar and that you totally didn't leave your stomach behind right then and there.
Thankfully, General Plo had decided to wait for you at the mouth of a long walkway, either side showcasing just how large and ornate the temple was
"I was beginning to think you had not received my message" his tone left little error to beleive he was anything but teasing
"I'm so sorry general, I...I've never been to the temple" you admitted a bit robotically
"It's quite alright, I can see how the temple is daunting to one who has never stepped foot on its premisies." he explained with a smile to his voice "You'd be surrpised how many younglings end up crying upon seeing it fir the first time"
"Really?" you asked in surprise "I always thought they could sense it was their spot"
"Really" he confirmed turning anf beginning to walk "this way"
You hurried to follow in step with the Kel Dor
"Younglings often are unsure about the temple at first, everything they knew before is gone and this is what they are brought to in return. I try to avoid the front entrance if I am bringing a little one in" he explained as you walked "We are going to one of the gardens, I hope you do not mind"
"Not at all, General" you said quickly, not wanting to offend
"You can relax, you are not in trouble" Plo chuckled, having sensed your nervousness through the force - or perhaps just from having been alive so long he's learned to pick that up in anyone...
"The garden we're going to is encased, so you won't have to worry about the biting air" the jedi added sweetly
"I appreciate that"
You followed him down a few more corridors, making small chit chat along the way, before he paused at an archway and gestured for you to enter first.
The moment you stepped inside, you felt overcome with a tremendous awe. It was like a small, tamed forset within! Plants littered most of the space, in all their glory - be that hanging along trelisses or shooting straight up, proud and tall or as sweeping sprawls of colour. Each plant looked unique yet somehow they all seemed to fit perfectly with one another as if they were always meant to have been that way - nor did they appear groomed, somehow existing perfectly without a single blemish or weed.
"This is beautiful!" You exclaimed, gawking at all around you
"I thought you would appreciate this garden over a sitting room" the jedi beamed as he followed in behind you "I've set a table for us to sit at while we chat"
You smiled and followed your general to a small but ornate looking garden table with three chairs. The table's surface was covered in sweet pasteries and somehow had a teapot and three cups squeezed within.
You raised your brow at the third setting but dismissed it as you took the seat he offered you and watched as he settled upon the other side
"I wanted to thank you for being such a valuable asset to us all" he began softly, as he poured you each a cup
"I'm just doing my job" you defended softly
"You do much more than that" he insisted "You spend hours pouring over information and only ever suggest strategies once you are entirely sure. You never leave opportunity to let my men faulter without a back up plan...or three"
You blinked in surprise, you hadn't noticed he paid that much attention to your efforts to keep him and the wolfpack safe...
"Cookie?" he settled the kettle down and waved his hand above the array of shapes and flavours
It was a bit overwhelming if you were entirely honest, but they all looked so absolutely delicious...
Nodding, you reached and grabbed a dark vermillion coloured cookie that was cresent moon shaped. Bringing it to your mouth, you paused noticing his attention zeroed in on your reaction
"Go on," he urged gently "Let me know how it is"
You peeked at the cookie, briefly wondering if you were about to be poisioned and that is how jedi fire people from the grand army of the republic...but then you took a bite
"This is really, really good general..." you mumbled, cheek full of cookie
"Good, I'm glad" he beamed, an unseen grin plastered to his face
You took a sip of your tea and then took another bite of your cookie
"Now, what are you intentions towards my dear Commander Wolffe?"
You froze at the sudden ask. Not only because of its nature but his unreadably guarded tone
"I...uh..."
Your mind raced a mile a minute, as did your heart, as panic begun to flood your system. How did he know? How long has he known? You and Wolffe both thought you were being extra careful around one another. Wary to not let on to the nature of your relations. Nobody knew about your sneaking off to see him and vice versa. About the passionate nights or the stolen kisses - right?
"General?"
Your head whipped to the right, where you'd entered the gardens, to find your beloved commander standing there with his helmut in his hands
"You...called me here...?" his mismatched gaze settled on you and for a brief second his eyes widened before he returned his attention to your shared jedi general
"Yes. Wolffe, come here" Plo urged sweetly, patted the third seat settled between your forms. "I have a spot for you as well"
You felt sweat begin to pool on your body as you watched Wolffe cooly made his way over, settled into his seat and place his helmut upon his lap
"I wasn't aware we were having a strategy meeting..." he mumbled already reaching for a cookie, clearly this was a norm with the two
"Oh you aren't...I am" Plo admitted while pouring Wolffe some tea as well
"I'm...I'm sorry sir?" Wolffe gawked
"I hope you are" The jedi huffed, setting the kettle down once more "I'm tired of you two thinking you can hide this from me"
Both you and Wolffe sat a bit straighter, wanting to glance to the other for assistance but unable and unwilling to risk showing your hands more than you already had.
"I have been alive for a very, very long time" Plo explained in a gentle yet scolding tone "Did you two think I cannot see? I am not blind behind these pressurized goggles"
The tease did nothing to ease either your nor your beloved's nerves and upon seeing such, the Kel Dor sighed
"I have no intention of punishing either of you, but I must know" he then turned to pointedly look at you "Do you love Wolffe?"
Your heart pounded in your ears and your emotions began to overwhelm you as panic left you unable to respond
"I see, I picked the wrong one to start with" Plo muttered under his breath then turned to his commander "Wolffe? Do y-"
"Yes" Your lover's words came forth as suddenly and sure as his hand had reached under the table to hold your own trembling one
You gasped softly at his unabashed or faultered words, watching him as any and all air left your lungs at his proclamation
Unseen to you, Plo relished in the emotions he was sensing through the force. Your utter surprise and delight, Wolffe's determination and honesty. Then watched as Wolffe turned to you and said in a more tender tone
"I'm in love with you"
Your heart felt as if it would burst any moment as you took in the most wonderful information you'd ever been privy to
"Well...? What do we say....?"
You barely heard Plo's encouragement but felt compelled to admit your own feelings aloud. The ones you'd kept locked away and only allowed to leak out in affectionate actions, but never words
"...I love you, Wolffe..." you whispered
You watched as his eyes creased and grew soft as he gazed down at you, his hand squeezing your own breifly before moving to tangle your fingers together
"Well...now that is settled..." Plo breathed in releif before asked as if he were relaying a scandalous secret "When am I to expect my grandbabies?"
"G-General!"
Plo laughed gleefully at both your young, flushed faces. Perhaps that was a question that should have been reserved for another time with more cookies...

Week 10 ~ coffee break ~ Northern Lights ~ The Bad Batch ~ Mistletoe ~
Word Count: 1790 Content: NSFW +18 ONLY Minors DNI; real world/modern setting AU, fem! reader, reader is a writer, kissing/making out, lingerie, Hunter being a service dom, oral sex (female receiving), vaginal fingering, squirting/vaginal ejaculation, aftercare
@clone-wars-winter-challenge
The light of your computer felt like it was burning a hole through your frontal lobe. Your frustration was steadily building as inspiration teased the edges of your mind.
You huffed, tapping the backspace button rapidly and with increasing intensity until the entire paragraph was gone.
You could hear the others in the living room. They were bickering about their inability–along with their unluckiness–to properly see the aurora borealis in the sky tonight as the cloud cover was too thick and it was starting to rain. Omega, however, had begged to go out anyway and the teenager’s puppy-dog eyes quickly won Echo over.
Despite the argument, they sounded like they were having a good time and you yearned to join them, forsaking your self-imposed deadline.
No, you shouldn’t do that; it’s a slippery slope that would lead to you never getting anything done.
You took a deep breath as you massaged your temples.
A soft knock at the door to the spare room you used as a home office startled you.
“Yeah,” you called.
“Sweetheart?” Hunter hummed. “You doing alright?”
You smiled a little; Hunter had a knack for picking up on subtle mood and energy shifts and his other senses were ridiculously strong as well. It had freaked you out for a couple of weeks when you’d first started dating, but you were so used to it by now that you almost relied on him to remind you to eat or drink, or to take a coffee break–which you were certain he was there to do now.
“I just want to get this chapter done, but it’s fighting me,” you grumbled. “And my back is stiff and my neck aches.”
Before you could even finish your complaint, he was pulling his reading glasses from the top of his head and kneading his warm hands into your neck, looking over your shoulder as the damn document. You let your head roll forward to grant him easier access.
“This is the next chapter?” he asked.
You thought for a moment. “I can’t remember which one you read last.”
“I think it was chapter eighteen,” he hummed.
“Yeah, this is nineteen,” you confirmed.
He was quiet for another moment as his hands worked the muscles of your lower back. It was all you could do to keep from groaning as you felt the tension starting to melt away.
“I should just stop for now,” you murmured. “I’m just writing and deleting the same three sentences over and over again. I can’t give these characters the love scene they deserve.”
“A break would be good for you,” he agreed. One of his hands briefly abandoned its work to place his glasses on your desk. He nuzzled his face into your neck as he continued his massage. “I know a great spot where all you’d have to do is lay back, relax, and let me take care of you,” he whispered against your skin, the sensation sending a wave of chills across your body.
You sighed. “As tempting as that is, all of your brothers are here.”
“Mmhm.”
“Echo and Omega will be back soon.”
“Yeah.”
“But you want to–”
“Yes,” he nearly growled, sending a rush of heat to your core.
“Hunter–”
“We’ll be quick and quiet,” he reasoned. “They’ll never know.”
You eyed him. “Crosshair will definitely know.”
“He might not–”
“He will know and he’ll tell Tech,” you said. “Then they’ll play keep away with the information and rile Wrecker up until he finally wrestles it out of one of them.”
Hunter chuckled. “But you want to, don’t you?”
You sighed as his hands brushed over your chest, goosebumps following in their wake. “I should tell you ‘no’ and finish this…”
“‘But’?”
“‘But’... lock the door and get over here.”
The smile that grew across his face–crooked and near-devious–only fueled the fire he’d stoked in you. He was on you faster than you thought was humanly possible, his lips claiming yours passionately.
“Not so fast, beautiful,” he hummed. “I’ve got a different idea.”
You whined as he pulled away, pulling a quiet chuckle from him. “It’ll be worth it,” he soothed. “I promise.”
He pulled you from your chair, leading you from the room.
“Hunter,” Tech called from the living room. “Wrecker went out to get take out; did she want–”
“Not now, Tech,” he called back, the slightest irritated huff in his voice as he ushered you up the steps.
“Oh, it’s that kind of break,” Crosshair snickered.
You had the briefest moment to smirk, saying “I told you” before you were lifted, your legs wrapping around his slim waist automatically.
He kicked the door to your shared bedroom open, carrying you through it.
As soon as you were past the swing of the door, he pushed it shut, pressing you against it. He locked the door while kissing you passionately.
You moaned into his mouth as his hands roamed, pushing under your shirt until they found your breasts, cupping and squeezing them gently.
“Hunter,” you keened as his lips trailed down to your neck. You worked your hands in between your body and his, pulling your shirt up to expose your chest.
“Gorgeous girl,” he purred, taking in the sight of you in the lacy lingerie he’d gotten you–his signature red, of course–he’d. “Look how pretty you dressed yourself up for me.”
The years you’d been with him and the sheer number of debauched acts he’d committed with you in this very room didn’t hide the blush that always flooded your cheeks when he spoke to you this way.
Your hips rocked involuntarily against him. “Hunter,” you whined. “Baby, please.”
“Patience, sweetheart,” he teased back. He traced his tongue oh-so-lightly up from your collarbone to your jaw, leaving a trail of goosebumps in his wake. “Look up.”
It took a moment for your hazy mind to understand what you were looking at. Why was there a bundle of leaves tacked to the doorframe?
“It’s mistletoe,” he filled in for you, his teasing tone returning. “And it’s tradition to kiss under it, isn’t it?”
“Yeah,” you agreed. “But we don’t have to just kiss.”
You watched his eyes turn darker but only for a moment. Damn. You thought you’d gotten to the end of whatever romantic scheme he’d set up for you.
“Alright, alright,” he finally relented, carrying you to lay you down on the bed.
You kept your legs wrapped around his hips, using them to pull him against you. The faintest whisper of a groan left his lips against your jaw.
“Hunter,” you pleaded again.
He didn’t answer, choosing instead to just let one of his hands drift down to the waistband of your pants, easily sliding inside to press against the lacy fabric covering your mons.
What you were clearly too distracted to realize was his other hand, reaching towards the nightstand.
Just as he finally, finally slid aside the fabric, he hit a button on the remote he’d been reaching for.
Over his shoulder, thousands of stars and streaks of light stretched across your ceiling, making you gasp at the exact moment he pressed a finger into you.
You could feel his smile against your cheek.
“Oh, Hunter,” you whispered as soon as you could manage to form words again. “It’s beautiful.”
“Yes, you are.”
Oh. There was that tone; the one you’d been listening for since he’d come into your office. The one that sent shivers of anticipation through your body. The one that meant you were, for lack of a more poetic expression, about to get railed.
You loved any intimacy you shared with your partner but you couldn’t deny that times like this–when his sweet personality shifted and he fucked you like a beast–were downright addictive.
He had your clothes off before you realized it, leaving you in the pretty scraps of fabric he loved to delicately remove from you, inch by slow, slow inch.
You panted and pleaded as he dragged the lace down your legs, just waiting for the moment just after the fabric left the ends of your toes.
The nearly unnoticeable feeling of the lingerie brushing over your feet made you moan in anticipation.
The second your underwear hit the floor, something in Hunter snapped.
His hands dragged up your legs, pushing them apart roughly. Sliding his arms underneath you to wrap them around your thighs, he pulled you to the edge of the bed, dropping to his knees with utter disregard for the pain that likely flared at the impact.
Then he finally buried his face in your pussy, licking, kissing, mouthing, and tongue-fucking you like a man possessed.
You could barely remember to keep quiet as he tirelessly pulled moan after moan from you, pushing you closer and closer to that edge until he wrapped his lips around your clit, sucking hard as two of his fingers thrust roughly into you, pounding relentlessly against that sweet spot inside.
You cried out as your orgasm washed over you, and all pretense of trying not to disturb the others dropped completely until Hunter reached up to shove your arousal-soaked panties into your mouth muffling your cries of pleasure. You could feel your body reacting to him almost in slow motion; the rough and repeated pressure against your g-spot, the pleasure of his mouth on your clit. You lifted your head to look down at him just in time to watch your orgasm spray out against his chin.
Your face flushed at the almost obscene way he seemed to savor each drop. His motions slowed as you came down from your high, huffing through the balled-up fabric in your mouth.
“That’s it,” Hunter cooed. “Easy, gorgeous girl. I’ll take this out if you can promise me to be quiet,” he added, tugging lightly at it. “Can you do that for me?”
You nodded lazily, opening your jaw a little more so he could pull the fabric out.
“There you go,” he hummed, his hand cupped your face, his thumb stroking gently against your cheek. “You’re so perfect for me, baby.”
As your vision and thoughts came back into focus, you realized he’d pulled you up onto the bed, nestled easily in the pillows, and your wonderful lover seemingly disappeared.
Hunter reappeared in the doorway to the bathroom, a few towels in hand. You watched him curiously. “What are those for?”
“‘If you make the mess, you clean it up’,” he teased, quoting one of the rules you’d laid down when the group of siblings first moved into your house. He dropped one of the towels onto the floor, soaking up the puddle he’d pulled from you.
“And the others?”
He smirked. “For the mess I’m gonna make out of you.”

GUESS WHAT! THIS IS THE FIRST EVER TUP FIC! 🎉 I've written him in comfy corner but never his own full fic - so hopefully I did him justice 😅
This is for @clone-wars-winter-challenge using the prompt "Your hands are freezing" which will be in Blue!
Warnings: Reader has no formal pronouns but is a jedi and referred to as "General". Trope about body heat 👀 Tup has learned through TV 🤣
Heart Full of Flowers
Tup x Reader
You were so stupid, you berrated yourself as you shivered violently.
You should've held on tighter, not stood so close to the edge to gawk - That's what got you both into this mess...
You'd gone on a joint mission with Torrent Company, one where you'd been extracted from an intel gathering mission - you'd snuck aboard a seperatist ship and needed an evac which lead to the boys in blue busting down the door to this snowy planet to pick you up. Except, as the LAATi returned towards the venator...you had leaned out the not-yet-closed doors to peer at the beauty of the landscape...
Only to fall out when the LAATi dodged a blast sent undoubtedly by the enemy. Which lead to you and Tup, who'd promptly dove off the side of the ship without seemingly a second thought, being stranded in the cold with nothing but his pack and your not-winterized-robes.
"Come on, there's a cave over there" Tup urged as he yanked you out of the snow imprint of your form
You'd broken the fall for the two of you with the force - using all your might to keep you both falling at a much slower pace before it had died last moment.
You chattered and shivered violently as he pulled you close and directed you in the windy-but-not-blizzard snow
"I-i c-ca-an't s-s-s-see a th-thi-thing" your teeth clacked into one another harshly and loud, the ice-like air painful to them
"I can...I'll lead you" The trooper said determinedly as his grip tightened around you and urged you to move faster - but found you sluggish from the frigid temperature
It took some time wrangling your frozen form in its blindness, but thankfully Tup was able to steer you properly. The moment you'd both gotten inside, he quickly peeked about to find that it wasn't a cave but the remains of an unearthed tree...therefore there was no need to hunt for danger.
"You're shaking terrible" he ripped his pack off in record speed and began rummaging in it.
Quickly, he pulled forth a thermal blanket and wrapped it around you - but frown as he began to pull away, his hand accidentially brushing yours.
"Your hands are freezing!!!" the dear sweet trooper before you exclaimed as you rubbed his hands on either side of yours trying to warm you up "The others should find us soon"
"i know" you chattered out, teeth clacking loudly but voice soft and sweet
Tup peeked up at you and smiled before pulling his hands back to pile another blanket on top of you then fiddled with his commlink again
"This is Tup, can you hear me? I'm with the General, we're both fine but heat's an issue. We've taken shelter in a decrepit unearthed root system. Does anyone read me?"
He waited a short time before making another few attempts, his worry seeping into his tone. He then touched the back of his hand across your form
"Forget your hands...you're freezing everywhere" Tup said fearful but steeled himself "Don't worry, Mesh'la...I won't let you freeze. I've seen a buncha holofilms on how to take care of this"
You then gawked as you watched your companion begin to strip
"T-Tup!" you squawked as your face began to grow similar in shade to a tomato
"You too" he reached into the thermal blanket and began yanking at your robes
Your face exploded in a dark flush, your form summoning all the heat it could to your cheeks and Tup grinned triumphantly at the sight
"See! It's already working!" He excitedly huddled as close as he could to you and pressed his cheek against your temple "Don't worry, General...I'll take care of you"
Despite the excessive embaressment flooding your system and the totally not to regulation pounding of your heart...you found yourself strangely content in this perdicament. Your eyes closed as you let the tiny heat your bodies had accumulated ease the numbsness in your form and delighted in it.
Tup was all around you, your body trapped between his thighs and his arms as he held you tightly. Your back pressed firmly to his chest, to muscles you always knew should be there and yet never witnessed. His cheek pressed to your temple as his leaned his weight onto you, his fingers and toes holding the thermal blanket as tightly closed as he could. With nothing between either of you, the exception of his commlink still on his left forearm, he sighed softly as he felt releif fill him.
"I'm sorry General" he mumbled "If I had more experience then we wouldn't be in this mess"
You leaned more into his form, body prickling in goosebumps at the delicious heat contained within the blanket
"It's not your fault, if you didn't jump after me, I'd have frozen by now" you said tiredly, exhaustion from the day creeping in
"You know...I always wanted to be the one that went on missions with you alone..." your dear trooper admitted quietly "but my brothers are more experienced, and I know they'll take care of you...so it was fine when you went with them instead"
You tilted your face to find his forlorn expression
"But I really wanted to go" he frowned, his teardrop tattoo matching his feelings "I always want to be with you"
Your heart ached at his soft comfessions, but you could tell he wasn't done saying what he needed to. So instead of answering, you pressed yourself as tightly as you could against him - immeadiately feeling how he curled around you more, like you were a support stuffed animal.
"General, I have some very not regulation feelings and...and I'm sorry but -" he paused for a moment biting his lip, clearly tormenting himself within "But I love you"
His cheeks burned darkly in his own embaressment before he ducked his head down and buried his fave against your neck to hide from realtity. To hide from the fact he'd just blurted that right out there.
"Are...are you going to send me back...?"
"What?"
"To Kamino" Tup clarified in a small voice "Are you going to send me back for being wrong?"
The most apalled noise ripped from your throat before your years of jedi scripture could even cope to catch it
"No, I'm not. Not in a million years." you turned in his hold, with great difficulty considering how tightly he'd been holding you and how determined he was to hide his face in your neck "Tup, no...I would never, ever send you back there"
He pouted a little as he studied you, his dark honey pools searching yours
"...really...?"
"Really, cross my heart" you whispered hugging him fully
You felt your sweet trooper's body go ridged for the faintest of seconds before it curled tightly towards you. His arms and legs wrapping around you and leaving not even a thread's width of room between your bodies.
"I...I didn't want to tell you like this, you know" he mumbled against your neck "I wanted to bring you flowers..."
You chuckled at his sweet nature and kissed his cheek
"You brought flowers" you insisted "You just grew them in my heart instead of handing them to me"
"So...does that mean..-"
"I love you too" you whispered in earnest "I've thought you were the cutest, sweetest thing since the seond I met you. But, I was trying to keep distance, Jedi aren't really encouraged to form romantic ties"
"Should...should I pretend I didn't hear you?" he offered in an unsure tone "I don't want to...but if its for you, I can do it"
"Oh tup" you sighed, squeezing him tighter "If you keep being this sweet and adorable - I just dont know what I'll do with myself"
It wasn't for at least another hour and a half before Torrent had pinned down your location. And the group was quite surprised to see their youngest brother wrapped tightly in thermal blankets, naked and happily asleep with his face buried in a jedi's bosom.
But teasing would be held off until later as they quickly set to waking you up, forcing you both into your clothes and back onto the LAATi. Tup might be their youngest brother and they were all very happy for him...but that didn't mean they weren't going to enjoy every second they could from your joint embaressment.
Your secret would be kept - for exchange of endless joking grins, teasing winks and the odd nudge via the elbow.

A Wish Come True (One-Shot)
This is my entry for week 10 of The Clone Wars Winter Spectacular 2024 / @clone-wars-winter-challenge !
I wish I could have spend a bit more time on this, but I had an extremely busy week. I hope you'll enjoy anyway!
Summary: When Hunter’s senses kick in, you’re determined to see if he’s alright Rating: Teen and up Tags: fluff, developing friendships, found family, Clone Force 99 Words: 1.209 Pairing: Hunter x gen!reader (platonic; might evolve into more) Prompts: Coffee/Caf Break / Northern Lights / *Clone Force 99* / Mistletoe Read this one-shot here on AO3 week 9 < | ↓ | > week 11
For once, the items littered over the Marauder's durasteel floor were put there deliberately. It almost resembled a command post; datapads sharing crucial information, a star chart on the ship's screen illuminating the ship's interior, a physical map of a city covering the floor. But it still had Clone Force 99’s touch. A vibro-blade stuck in the floor through the map to mark the target, Lula being used as a datapad stand, a toothpick giving away Crosshair's tactical position within the city.
Hunter sat on the floor, hunched over the map as he pointed out both strategic and weak points, preparing the squad for their upcoming mission. Tech sat in the pilot’s seat, glancing back and forth between his datapad and the physical map laid out on the floor. Wrecker was in the seat beside him, watching intently as Hunter pointed out every move. Echo was already calculating a hyperspace route, whilst Crosshair stood leaning against the wall, keeping a sharp eye on everything.
You felt out of place between these seasoned soldiers as you watched over Hunter’s shoulder. You hadn't been with the Batch for too long, and although you were aware of all the squad members’ desirable mutations, you were still getting used to them. And thus you were slightly confused when Hunter suddenly straightened himself, the little muscles around his eyes slightly tensing as focus covered his gaze.
It was almost as if he pricked up his ears, and you weren't sure if he was alarmed or something else had caught his attention. It likely wasn't a rare sight, for the other squad members paid little attention to his sudden shift of demeanour. Abruptly, he got to his feet, making you move aside hastily to give him some room.
“Caf break,” he said at last, his voice low and serious. His sudden announcement was received with mixed reactions; Wrecker's face lit up in an instant, whilst Tech’s became rigid; he’d rather finish the briefing before moving on to the next objective. With a sigh, Crosshair tossed his toothpick to the other corner of his mouth and Echo just rolled his eyes before getting up to prepare a pot of fresh caf.
Without sharing another word, Hunter stormed out of the ship into the night beyond. You blinked your eyes a few times as you watched him disappear, before moving over to Echo. “Is he.. Is he alright?” you asked softly, your eyes still on the Marauder’s entrance whilst Echo casually added some ground caf beans to the machine. “Don't worry, he probably sensed something. Happens every now and then,” he smiled at you, his voice kind and reassuring.
Still bothered by it, you couldn’t leave it behind as easily as the others. “I'll just go check on him,” you said softly, almost under your breath, but Echo heard you loud and clear. He granted you a quick look before chuckling in amusement. “You do that. Caf will be ready in a few minutes,” he shot at you whilst continuing to prepare the caf. Already lost in thoughts, you nodded in response before silently making for the ship’s boarding ramp, cautiously exiting the ship. And when you stepped outside, you were welcomed by the most magical sighting.
The clear, dark sky was filled with a mesmerising light. It was constantly moving, changing shapes and form, the greenish-blue illumination dancing in the sky like a rippling river meandering through the land. You knew all too well what northern lights were, but had never been lucky enough to see them with your own eyes. Not until now. Without realising, a gasp of wonder left your lungs as you stood frozen to the ground, your gaze caught in the beautiful spectacle far above you.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?”
Hunter’s low yet warm voice brought you back into reality, snapping you from your thoughts. You nodded in agreement, the awe of the phenomenon reflecting from your eyes as your gaze slid down to meet his. “And you could sense it?” you asked softly in admiration, as you found yourself slowly walking over towards him.
He was sitting near the Marauder, his leg arched and his arm casually dangling on top of his knee. He hummed in affirmation, a careful smile sliding on his tattooed face. You sat down at his side as he continued to elaborate. “I find nature comforting.. It doesn't overstimulate my senses, like technology does.” You weren’t too sure how his senses worked yet, but you understood the healing effect of nature. “It’s very pretty,” you whispered, your gaze locked on the dancing river of light in the sky again. “It sure is,” he confirmed softly, looking straight at you whilst speaking those words before joining you in the skygazing.
“I, er- I didn’t know wishes could come true,” you said softly, wrapping your arms around your body as your shoulders relaxed. You felt comfortable, and the way the light reflected on the surface of the planet had a calming effect on you. Hunter shot you a quick, confused look. “What do you mean?” he asked curiously, watching you closely as memories crossed your mind, making your eyes shine.
You felt somewhat vulnerable getting this personal. But again, you felt comfortable with him, and you were part of the squad now; you had to trust each other. And that meant becoming personal every now and then. “Every Life Day, I made a wish. And every year, it was the same; I wished to see the northern lights,” you confessed to him, hiding your face behind your arms when you felt a rush of warmth washing over it.
Hunter hadn’t taken his eyes off of you, and seeing you flustered from your own confession amused him in the most endearing way. He chuckled affectionately, putting his hand on your arm in an attempt to reveal your face again. You huffed softly before complying. “I know, it’s silly,” you continued with a sigh, “All my friends wished for a kiss under the mistletoe, to find the partner from their dreams, raising kids, to live happily ever after.. Wishing for things that actually matter, I guess.”
As soon as you looked up to him again, he shot you the most understanding smile. “I don’t think it’s silly. Seems to me you’re more aware of your surroundings. Seeing the beauty of the galaxy instead of thinking like everyone else. And who knows, maybe those other things will come for you as well,” he encouraged you, and the warmth of his voice wrapped you like a blanket. It made your mind soar and your heart beat faster, and for a moment, you didn’t know how to respond. So you smiled at him before leaning slightly against his shoulder. Only after another moment, you found your words. “Thank you, Hunter. For taking me in with the squad. For looking after me,” you whispered, allowing your gaze to wander the mystical sky again.
His muscles seemed tense for a moment, but with a deep exhale, he relaxed, allowing you to lean further into him. “Don’t worry,” he cooed softly, and the low, rumbling sound of his deep voice resonating through his body made you feel safer than ever. “You’re part of us now.”
