The moment he sees you playing out in the rain, he’s awestruck and doesn’t hesitate to join you.

The bard twirls you around as the gentle raindrops begin to wet his hair and clothes, but he doesn’t mind.

He knows that moments like these are worthwhile, even though you’ll both end up getting sick the next day.

Upon hearing your laughter, it’s almost as if he’s fallen in love with you all over again. He can’t say no to you… after all, how could he resist his one and only muse?

It wasn’t long before his laughter begins to blend with your own, creating a wonderful symphony in the downpour.

“I can’t let my windblume have all the fun, now can I? Mind if I join you?”

♡ Xiao ♡

Xiao is… rendered speechless. He’s never witnessed someone be so carefree, much less under the rain.

Unbeknownst to you, he’s gazing at your joyous figure from Wangshu Inn with what seems to be a smile. Something very rare for someone like him.

He doesn’t seem to mind you playing around in the rain, instead keeping a watchful gaze on you from afar. He wouldn’t want to spoil your fun.

It’s not everyday that someone makes the yaksha smile, but you seemed to have changed that with your little habits.

It was at this moment that Xiao decided to protect you and your happiness. Both of which he deemed as precious. A vow to himself, and an unspoken promise to you.

“How long I’ve been watching you? …That doesn’t matter, just don’t stay outside for too long, alright?”

♡ Kazuha ♡

The samurai leans onto the doorframe with his arms crossed and his heart melts at the sight.

Kazuha stays like that for a while, only breaking his gaze once you’ve caught him staring at you.

Don’t be shy—tell him to join in! He’d gladly oblige. He rarely ever gets to see this side of you, and he wants to cherish it as much as possible.

He’s probably the type to slow-dance with you in the rain. With his hand on your waist, and the other taking hold of your hand, he guides you into synchronising with his graceful movements.

Oh, how he wishes that time would slow down when it comes to you.

“[name], as much as I adore seeing you like this, the idea of you getting sick pains me… Let’s head inside, shall we?”

♡ Wanderer / Scaramouche ♡

Okay let’s be honest here, his hat would probably shield him from the rain. 💀 (Seriously, how does he pass through narrow doors with that hat on??)

He’d most likely lecture you about getting sick and how much of a hassle it would be to tend to you. But just as he’s about to, something tells him to stop and just… admire you.

To Scaramouche, it’s as if time had come to a halt, and all noises seemed to have been drowned out. All can see is your smile, and all he can feel is the rapid beating of his heart.

That smile of yours which he’s grown to love so much. Your smile that feels like the first rays of sunshine after a harsh storm.

That still won’t stop him from reprimanding you, though… after he’s snapped out of his star-struck trance, he’ll be quick to wrap you in the warmth of his embrace; shielding you from the incoming storm.

“What were you doing out there? You know better than to—[name]? You’re shivering, come here.”

Modern Scaramouche Headcanons

Guess who’s back !! Requests are open once again, so here are some Scaramouche hcs for the soul. <3 Hope everyone has a great week!

Notes: This is set in the modern world, so you and Scara are highschool sweethearts students. ^^

Featuring: Scaramouche/Wanderer

Warning/s: None, I just haven’t proofread this.

Scara curses every now and then but obeys when you tell him to tone it down. (He’ll never admit this when you mention it to him, even if his life depended on it)

Complains about how he hates studying but somehow always gets perfect grades?? Excuse me-

He’s like that one guy who says they never study for the test but gets the highest score everytime 💀

You often have study dates with him and he’ll try to play it off as tutoring and says that your grades suck, but it’s actually just an excuse to spend more time with you.

This is probably already obvious but he has a soft spot for children—and an even more softer spot with kids that are close with their mothers. (Someone pls hug him)

Whenever he sees that your shoelaces are off, he immediately kneels down and ties them for you. He’ll grumble about how you’re always so careless when in reality he just doesn’t want you to trip and get hurt. (´ ᴗ｀✿)

Now he ties them for you 24/7

Acts of service is one of his major love languages since he doesn’t really know how to show you affection using words—aside from the simple I love you’s and text me when you get home safely.

Play with his hair! This main craves your touch more than he’ll ever know.. :(

He has a really good voice, surprisingly. But he’d rather die than get caught singing. The only time he ever sings around you is when he’s 99% sure you’re asleep. Maybe he’ll hum a melody or two to help you have a good night’s rest.

That remaining 1% is from when he didn’t know you were still awake and heard him lulling you to sleep. (He made you swear to secrecy;;)

I’d like to think that he’s a little bit of a sweet-tooth, (just like his momma) though he doesn’t eat sweets too often.

He’s also probably the type of guy to lean on the doorway when talking to you.

Lumine

> She’ll take you to her favorite places to cheer you up. If you want to talk to her about your problems along the way, you don’t even need to ask.

> If you’re silent, Lumine will simply ask you if you want to talk, but she won’t push you to do it.

> Maybe she’ll take you to a spot that’s good for stargazing, or take you to a place where there’s lots of crystalflies for you to watch flying about.

> If she could at least just witness a peaceful side of you and make you forget about all your hardships, even just for a little bit, she’ll be content.

Aether

> Albedo is a clever one. He catches on pretty quick, so he’ll know if you’re not feeling yourself in almost an instant.

> He doesn’t say anything because he doesn’t want to pry, but he does ask you if you want to go on a walk with him on the outskirts of Dragonspine. (He’ll also hand you his coat if you’re feeling cold)

> If you refuse, he feels as if he has no choice but to pry into your feelings. And he does, but he’s not forcing you. He’ll pry ever-so-gently for the sake of not overstepping your boundaries.

> If you accept, however, he’s going to use the opportunity to try and distract you. And once you’re feeling better, that’s the moment he asks if you want to talk.

> Either way, Albedo’s always willing to listen to your troubles. He’ll even go out of his way to try and help you get rid of them. That’s just how much he cares for you <3

Reminders (Liyue men x GN!reader)

Scenario: death has taken his toll and you, passing you on into the next life. What do they miss the most about you?

Warnings: angst / mentions of death & grief. Please scroll if you’re sensitive to these stuff!

Featuring: Xiao, Zhongli, and Childe. (Ok I’m aware that Childe isn’t originally from Liyue, but he’s associated with the nation so I decided to add him. 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Xiao - your touch

He knew human life was short, but he didn’t think it would be this short. Time always seemed to fly when it comes to you, despite him wishing that it would pass by slower.

Being the type of person that Xiao is, I don’t think he’d take your death lightly. In fact, it would probably be stuck with him long after you’re gone.

He’ll struggle trying to move on. It’s almost as if he doesn’t want to, because why would he?

He doesn’t want to forget you, and most definitely not your touch. It was the one thing that lessened the effect of his karmic debt.

Despite the pain, he remembers everything so vividly. Almost too vividly. It’s because he doesn’t want to forget.

From the lightest of touches, to the most noticeable ones. He remembers it all. How could he not? After all, he could remember everything when it was about you.

He’ll miss the way your cautiously linger over his own hands, and how they delicately trace the outline of his scars. You didn’t push him away because of them, which gave him all the more reason to love you.

But as time went on, he’s beginning to forget.

It was inevitable, after all. Adepti have a longer lifespan than that of mortals, and you were no different. But he was still scared. Scared of forgetting you.

He’s watched you live and die, and there was nothing he could do but stay by your side until the end—which came all too soon.

Zhongli - your presence

He had seen this coming. He always has.

Zhongli is aware he should’ve started moving on years ago. But he just couldn’t bring himself to.

Unlike his past acquaintances, no matter how painful the farewells and departures, you were different.

The concept of death is normal for people like you. It was only natural. So why was he grieving so much?

Love.

He loved you too much, he couldn’t bring himself to let go of your memories.

He misses everything about you. Like how you’d light up the atmosphere just by your presence alone, and how you were able to brighten up his mood just by that adorable smile of yours. He misses it a lot.

But now you were gone. And for the first time in centuries, Zhongli doesn’t know what to do.

It was always you that helped him out with his struggles, listening to him rant without ever showing any signs of criticism. If anything, you only looked at him with adoration.

It was because of you that he became dependant, and he was only dependent on you. But now that you were gone, he no longer has anyone to rely on.

But as much as it pains him, he didn’t regret it. He didn’t regret a single moment with you. Nor did he regret ever choosing to drown in the embrace of your love.

He’ll miss everything about you. Your fragrance, your vibrant colored eyes, and the way your eyes squint when you smile.

He misses it all.

Childe - your voice

Your voice was his Achilles’ heel. His sole weakness. He’d surrender by the mere sound of it, all because it was what he loved the most about you.

It was your voice that lulled him to sleep in his nights of turmoil. It was what soothed him during nights where he’d have nightmares, and he couldn’t have asked for anything more.

But ever since your death, he’d been having more nightmares. And it was worse now that you weren’t beside him.

Waking up in a cold sweat, he’s search for you in your side of the bed. But in the end, it always struck him.

You were gone. All because he wasn’t enough to protect you. He somehow feels guilty for your death, blaming himself even though he knows that you wouldn’t want him to.

He couldn’t hear your voice anymore. What was left of it will forever be engraved in his mind. If he could just remember the mere tone of your voice, that would be enough for him to keep going.

He tells himself that he won’t ever forget how you sounded like, because the moment he does, he’ll completely break.

But eventually, he does.

And he feels as if his heart has completely broken—or at least, what was left of it.

He’s nothing but a hollow shell without you.

Genshin Impact characters as idiotic / wholesome things that I did. (Mostly idiotic)

Kazuha: found a chalk stone and decided to write both your initials with it on another stone, encircling it in the biggest heart he could make.

Ayato: was drinking boba and began choking on a pearl. Then another. And another… It’s honestly a miracle he hasn’t suffocated to death.

Qiqi: barged in a room PACKED with people only to forget why she was even there. She then proceeded to silently contemplate why she was there instead of just leaving.

Sayu: woke up one day and was too lazy to get out of bed, therefore she thought it would be good idea to just roll off. (For your information, she was on the upper part of the bunker bed.)

Itto: slipped on a 5ft long pool and somehow almost drowned. How do you drown in a pool that barely even reaches your knees??

Qiqi (again): didn’t know how to eat a pear so she asked Baizhu if she could peel it like oranges. Who tf peels PEARS?

Sayu (again): began jumping hysterically as soon as the clock struck 12 on New Year’s. For context: someone told her that doing so would add a few inches to her height. She started sobbing when nothing changed.

Raiden Ei: forgot to add the water when cooking rice. Needless to say it turned out drier than the vast dunes of the Sahara Desert. (Her cooking skills are so preposterous that even Xiangling is scared.)

Klee: has this weird obsession with trees and proceeds gets on every climbable one she sees. Although 99% of the time, she doesn’t know how to get down and ends up asking Albedo for help. She gets scolded by him but never learns her lesson.

Childe: says “hey girlie” religiously. He says it to literally EVERYONE and they’re all super annoyed. He’s even resorted to addressing the same nickname to every animal he sees and so on. (I’m pretty sure the animals are annoyed of him as well.)

Barbara: experienced that sharp pain in your chest, specifically the one that gets worse when you breathe. She then began crying and begged the Anemo Archon to make her death quick and painless because she thought that her time had finally come. (So dramatic and for what?? 😭)

I like to think that Albedo also has a poetic side, similar to Kazuha. It’s a side of him that’s only preserved for you to witness. He just doesn’t show it too often.

Barbara’s no stranger to rock music, in fact she likes all the genres of music so I can guarantee you that she won’t discriminate your taste in music! In fact, she actually loves it. (Because she admires you a lot <3)

If there’s one thing you both have in common, it’s singing; and she loves that about you! She absolutely loves the fact that there’s another person who shares the same talent as her, so she’s ecstatic.

Both of your voices go so well with each other. So much so that it actually sounds like heaven’s gates. But if she isn’t familiar with the songs you’re singing, Barbara will just do a little dance.

Your talent and passion for music is the sole reason of why you and Barbara met. And she loves that about you! So I can say without a doubt, that she doesn’t regret ever getting to meet you! She considers you as a blessing from the Anemo Archon. (She’s so precious pls)

Albedo: museum date

Albedo definitely loves to take you out on dates whenever he has the time. Especially if it’s something he’s certain you both will enjoy.

Despite the many paintings or sculptures that can be perceived in the museum, Albedo only gazes longingly at you as you watch the artworks in pure wonder. The way your eyes twinkle in excitement and how you laugh oh-so-joyfully around him. It honestly completes his day.

He gets a little flustered whenever you catch him staring, but he effortlessly manages to mask it with a smile so soft you could possibly melt.

But even so, he still tries his best to avert his gaze from you. Although occasionally, he unknowingly finds himself to be admiring you instead. Not that he has a problem with that, Albedo knows true art when he sees one. In this case, it just happens to be you.

He never would’ve guessed that someone like him would be able to feel such emotion. Because before knowing you, he was nothing but a mere tool. A person incapable of feeling genuine feelings such as love, which resulted in the empty void in his heart. But then, you happened. And in almost an instant, you made him feel a lot of emotions he couldn’t explain. You completed him, and for that he owes you as much love as he could give. ♥️

Thoma: picnic date

Picnics with Thoma are the absolute best. He’s a gentleman too, no doubt about that; so he’s mostly the one who cooks the food and brings all the supplies. But if you’re kind enough to offer him a helping hand, he’ll be more than happy to oblige; placing a gentle kiss on your temple as you do so.

Not only will he bring the food, but he’ll also bring gifts for you, such as flowers and handwritten letters. He won’t tell you though about this, though, just for the sake of seeing your eyes light up in excitement. He absolutely adores that look on your face, because seeing you in such a state single-handedly makes his day better. (•ө• )♡

I like to think that he’d take you somewhere spacious yet scenic, but also desolate. A place where there are less people so the both of you can enjoy the company of each other, perhaps even watch the sunset together as you both unconsciously intertwine hands.

It’s moments like these where Thoma wishes he could stop time and stay with you like this forever, but he knows that it’s too good to be true, so he tries his very best to savor this moment with you.

And until the vibrant-colored sky dissipates into a vast blanket of stars, Thoma has absolutely no intentions in letting you go.

Childe: shopping

Listen, this man is rich, so spoiling you is his forté. But he only does this every once in a while because he’s mostly busy with work running errands and whatnot. But whenever he gets the chance to spend time with you, he spends it well.

He buys you almost anything you set your eyes on with even the slightest hint of interest. Yeah, good luck convincing him otherwise. (ー_ー ;) From the smallest trinkets to human-sized stuffed toys, he buys them all just for you.

But Childe doesn’t always show his love for you by purchasing almost everything you and him find amusing. There are also the most exceptional moments that you both share which money could never afford.

He is aware that with all the money he could ever have, it still wouldn’t be able to replace these precious memories with you.

You can choose to roam around with him in the mall, hand in hand with no particular destination in mind, or you can have a dinner date with him. Either way he’s happy when he gets to witness that familiar smile on your face that he never seems to get enough of.

Going to the mall with him can also be somewhat chaotic, in a good way though. If you could somehow to match his energy, even better. You’ll be that one couple in the mall who dashes around menacingly in the grocery store with you in a shopping cart while Childe is the one pushing it for you. But don’t worry, even throughout your little shenanigans, he’s still wary about your safety. He’ll be careful with you in order to prevent you from getting hurt.

Overall, dates with Childe are never once dull, that I can guarantee.

Albedo Kreideprinz

Albedo isn’t very strict when it comes to the standards of his significant other. He will love you just the way you are.

He will adore everything about you, including your imperfections; because to him, your flaws are what make you beautiful in his own point of view—just like his artwork which mostly consists of paintings of you.

But as for the personality, I think he will love it when you know how to respect his boundaries.

We all know that Albedo is mostly busy in Dragonspine working on his experiments and concoctions; and most of them have proven to be quite dangerous, so it’s best you step away when he warns you about a certain experiment and such.

He only does this because he doesn’t want to cause harm to you just because of an experiment that somehow went wrong, much less blew up.

If by any chance you do get hurt, his eyes will widden and he’ll immediately rush to your side to check if whether your injuries are major or not. Either way, he’s still pretty worried. And when he’s finished patching you up he’ll tell you to be more cautious while he’s working, so please be careful. (；´Д｀)

Adeptus Xiao

Considering his past, Xiao has a tendency to push people away and build a wall around his heart, blocking away any signs of attachment towards them.

It would take a lot of patience and understanding for you to break down his walls, and if by some chance you succeed in doing so, Xiao has already devoted himself to you before you even realize it.

Xiao may also have trouble attempting to open up about his feelings and emotions, but he’s trying his best—and he’s trying for you. So all he asks in return is for you to understand him and perhaps provide him even just a tiny bit of comfort. He’s more of an actions speak louder than words type of guy.

Xiao mostly runs his errands alone, without any companions; whether it be protecting Liyue or conquering demons. And since he’s been alone for such a long time, he has to admit that it does get quite lonely for him. So he’s thankful that he has you to keep him company every once in a while. He’s noticed how quite fond you were of plants and flowers, like the way how your eyes light up whenever he hands you any type of flower, and honestly he finds it super adorable because it makes his day.

So he’s made it a habit to give you flowers whenever he gets the chance to, just to see you smile.

Venti will mostly use terms of endearment that are related to flowers. Like flower, my dandelion, rose, and anything similar.

He absolutely loves to put flowers on your hair, tucking a portion of hair away from your face and intricately place a flower on the strands of your hair; only to admire your beauty afterwards.

You both agreed that flowers were very beautiful things, each one different and unique in their own way. He’s seen how they were enough to make you smile as you were so fascinated by them. But to him, you were his only flower; because you hold the ability to make him smile just by doing almost anything. He truly adores you.

As you both grow deeper into your relationship, he will ask you why you were so captivated by the concepts of plants and flowers; so when you told him about your little flower shop, he was overjoyed.

Eventually your shop became a place where he could find peace and comfort in. He pays frequent visits to your shop and maybe even plays tunes with his lyre there as well.
