Hi all, I've finally made an OC blog for my COD OC Guppy, which admittedly I've been working on that instead of part 2 of the MW relationships. Anyway I've added a link to that in my master post but I'll add it here as well.
I have a bit more free time so I'll start working on that relationship part 2 post, but a part of me does just want to start over completely. So hopefully I don't do that, but I might so heads up there.
still, MWIII brings some nice facts about the story. like, for example, the fact that 141 have work together before MWII. it really gives a good background to MWII🤷🏽♀️. people on this fandom are just to biased honestly. there are so many good things and bad things, but the game is exclusively bad because they killed my favorite character 😡 so I'm gonna pretend it never happened.
I said it was okay, it’s definitely not the worst COD game. I’ve been going back through and watching them and there are worse game plots out there. But the flashback does feel a bit forced though, it’s cool to see them work together but I think if the story was better written then it might have worked better.
And yeah maybe when it first came out I was annoyed that a character I liked died, but my feelings about it have changed. I’m not pretending it didn’t happen I just wanted this blog to focus on the first two games since that’s what most of the fandom focuses on.
Hell the reason I made this blog was because the fandom wiki didn’t have sources for some of their information and if I could I wanted to provide that in my own way.
Your message is probably just rage bait but I thought I would give you an answer anyway.
let's pretend you didn’t include MWIII because of Soap
Yeah I definitely didn’t include MWIII because of Soap /j
Soaps death could have worked if we had more time to see him develop as a character, but he’s basically been fridged for the sake of Price’s character development. -_-
But yeah MWIII isn’t really that great, it’s okay but it misses or changes some of the characters personalities and the only good things are like Gaz’s character development arc, seeing Laswell on a solo mission, Nikolai being Nikolai and seeing Farah and Alex interact again.
Like I’ve seen people compare this version of Makarov to a wet sponge/cat and I honestly agree.
Like why does he have beef with Farah’s Liberation force, they’ve never interacted before.
Just wanted to preface before I get into it that I did struggle with writing this. It's my first time since high school writing something like this so it's been a bit of a struggle to get back into it.
I've also haven't added any romantic relationships to this, unless the characters have kissed or are canonically married ( like Laswell ) it falls more into head-canon territory. I may also come back and edit this in the future, I'm just getting down a general idea of how I currently view their relationships.
!! Just adding this is all my own interpretation of these characters. !!
Relationship Chart
Explanation : So this cube shows character relationships following both MW (19) , MWII (22) , and MWII Atomgrad Raids storyline. (Yes I am ignoring MWIII, no I will not elaborate /hj)
With this I can confidently show who has and has not interacted and what their relationship is from there. Since I'm not speculating if relationships are romantic or not I've decided to focus on how close the characters are. For instance Alejandro and Rodolfo are both shown to care about each other, same goes for Laswell and Price.
I was going to add in characters like Hadir and Valeria, but with Valeria her relationship with Alejandro and Rodolfo is very cut and dry; and Hadir's relationship is something I'll focus more on when I write about Farah. Their relationship is more complicated and interesting than most other characters.
Character Relationships
Farah :
Her relationships are mostly focused on trust or admiration. She's more close to characters who have stood by her side in tough times, such as Alex and Price. With this though as soon as her trust is betrayed she is more resentful and hostile towards them, like with her brother Hadir.
You can see through most of MW before Hadir's betrayal that she does care about her brother, but as she says to Alex during the cutscene before Hunting Party.
Farah's relationship with Hadir changes instantly after his betray, no matter how much Hadir and Farah care about each other she will never see him as her brother again. This is shown more during the 6th and 7th cutscene during the Atomgrad raids. Hadir does care for Farah and even admits he personally wont kill her, but he will still stop her since their beliefs are so different.
Quotes :
Gaz: You'll be hunting your own brother.
Farah: He is not my brother. Not anymore.
Farah: It is impossible that we share the same blood.
Hadir: I love you, Farah- Even if you hate me…
Hadir: In that way we are not the same.
Farah: One of many…
Hadir: Sister… Together we can stop them, like we did before…
Farah: Believe me… I will…
Farah: My way… with those I trust.
Price :
He keeps a wall of professionalism between most of his close relationships, the exception being Laswell. We see this on multiple occasions where he goes from calling Laswell by her last name and instead calling her Kate. Usually when she is either in danger like what happens during Recon By Fire, or during moments of stress/anger.
Price does show genuine care for those he is close too especially when they could be hurt or in danger, but it's just not shown the same way his care for Laswell is. Same with Nikolai their relationship is best described by the mission title when we first see Nikolai, 'Old Comrades'. They're close but not in the same way civilians are, both being a hardened solider has changed the way their friendship can be viewed from the outside.
Laswell :
Similar to Price she keeps her interactions more professional, while still also bantering with Gaz or Price on occasion. She does however verbally show more care about those she is close too, for instance telling Farah to "Take care of them." ( in reference to Gaz and Price ) at the start of Atomgrad raids.
Alex :
With rewatching both MW and the Atomgrad raids I've realized that Gaz and Alex's relationship is a lot closer than the fandom makes it out to be. Both of them check in with each other, sharing banter and jokes. Alex's relationship with Gaz is more familiar and close, where as Alex's relationship with Farah is focused more on him being supporting and committed to her and her cause. He's willing to sacrifice himself for Farah, where as Gaz and Alex are equals leaving room for more friendly banter.
Quotes :
Gaz: If it wasn't me- I'm glad it was you.
Alex: Too bad we couldn't kill him twice.
Alex: I'm pretty sure everything we do is illegal.
Gaz: Only the good stuff.
Gaz: You got friends nearby.
Alex: You too.
Gaz: Told ya you had friends nearby.
Gaz: Man o' steel.
Alex: Titanium…
Gaz :
Out of all the characters Gaz is definitely the most open about his feelings. He outwardly more caring and emotional, we can see this with how he treats the other characters, he barely knows like Farah and offers her a drink after Hadir's betrayal and also willing to make his own support for Farah known when her liberation force is put on the foreign terror organization list.
Unlike Price, Gaz isn't as hardened by war yet, we do see this change over the course of the series so far. But compared to Price, he seems more friendly this may be because he is a good judge of character or might be because he is just more friendly. This doesn't mean he's quick to trust though.
AN:
Thank you all for waiting for this to come out, I've been struggling a bit with working on this blog. I will keep working on it but I'm just not as confident with my character analysis as I am with research gathering and collection information which is important to the story and characters we love.
I'm going to spend a bit more time working on the next part to this focusing on the character introduced during MWII, but in the mean time I'll see if I can get something else out.
PS: I've also spent some free time working on my cod oc and because of this I might be redoing the character ages post, not sure yet whether or not to edit the post or make a new updated one.
I'm also wondering if you all are interested in learning a bit about my cod oc and the mixed matched cod universe I've put them in. I'd make a separate blog for zem but curious to know if this is something you want to see.
I have good news for you guys, I’ve finally got a new PC. I’ve just gotta connect my old SSD card and I’ll have all my files back. So that should happen in the next couple days.
So I’m going to be working on the character relationship post now that I know everything’s working and all that stress can go somewhere else.
I’m hoping to have it done over this weekend, since I’m busy next week with life stuff. If I can’t finish it this weekend I’ll hopefully have it out next one.
Hi all, I just wanted to give an update. My laptop I was using to keep research on had the motherboard set of fire and burn a bit. My hard drive is fine but it’s going to be a bit before I can post again on here.
So I’m currently looking into PCs so it’s less likely to overheat, but until then updates are gonna take a while.
I’ll do what I can to get a post on here at least luckily I haven’t started the character relationships post yet, but it does mean redoing at lot of my research.
So hope you all are having a better day than I am, and I’ll hopefully have something out by the end of the month.
I know I seem to do a lot of these but I want to know what you all would like to see from me. I'm also struggling a bit with idea of what to post. So if you could please leave a comment saying that you either would like to see more lore based posts or more head canon type stuff.
PS. was wondering if you guys wanted me to add a pseudonym that you can call me, I was think of going with my COD OCs name of 'Guppy'. So let me know what you think about that.
Here's some of the information I was able to find on the Atomgrad Raids, below the keep reading line is a YouTube Video containing all the cutscenes if you don't want to go through a just over 2 hour walkthrough for the story.
There was some information that I was unable to find, which is on the fandom wiki, but since it's only text and not screenshots I'm personally not sure how accurate it is.
Side Note:
I've also added a screen recording at the bottom of my favourite scene that I feel we need to talk about more. I absolutely love Gaz and Alex's character dynamic, and this scene shows it perfectly.
There is also another scene that I love that shows Alex and Farah's dynamic, I love how Alex is the calm to Farah's justified rage. Which is in the linked video below is at about the 19 minutes and 18 seconds mark.
Intel 1 : "Mother,
I want you to know that I am safe, for now. Though this may be the last time you hear from me.
This morning, the Killers arrived. They came with weapons and anger. They took us from our homes and gave them to soldiers. The house papa built for us now houses those monsters.
I was able to escape, but my Kamal was taken. God only knows what they've done to him.
You will worry for me, and I would be a fool to tell you otherwise.
Please know that I have not given up. I still have hope.
-Amal"
Intel 3 : "Armory restocked
M4s, Tac-Exs, K-Blocs
Code is: 627
Keep it to yourself this time, okay?"

AN:
This took longer than I thought it would but it's done, I'm still working on MW2 atomgrad raids but I wanted to at least get this all out. I'll be adding new enemy / ally NPCs to the MW 2019 list soon, so go check that out if you want.
Also sorry for the quality of the mission intel, I've been unable to get screenshots of it myself and had to download the images from the fandom wiki even if I try to avoid getting information from there.
Here's the second part of the Spec Ops Missions, with the cutscenes of Operation Harbringer, Just Reward and the final cutscene. Again this is more world building and information, but I would recommend at least watching the final cutscene since it brings one of the original COD 4: MW series enemies into the new MW universe.
This will be the first part of the Spec Ops Missions, which will contain the cutscenes from Unified Forces, Operation Head-hunter and Paladin. This is more of a world building information drop for the first two parts but the third part will just be adding to the timeline and a small list of new NPCs with their status.
Just and Update , I've been looking into MW19 Spec Ops missions and realised there's so much information there I've missed that needs to be added to the timeline along with MW2 Atomgrad raids.
So I wanted to know if you all wanted the Atomgrad raids first , which I still have to work on but the MW19 characters are there or do you want the Spec Ops mission, which would be out quicker but is focused more background characters and Al Qatala.
There's not a lot of footage of the Spec Ops missions but I do have something that I can work with. Where as with the Atomgrad raids I have more footage to work with.
Side note : Just going to add, I've seen that Laswell is now an operator but I don't have MW3 so I can't look at her operator bio. So if someone does have MW3 and can send me a video or screenshots of it that would be much appreciated. :)
Here's a list of both Modern Warfare (2019) and Modern Warfare II (2022) Enemies. I combined both together since only the main antagonists are given names, and the rest are just listed as group followed by fighter or soldier.

AN:
This post is formatted a bit differently from my other posts because I wanted it to be a bit easier to read without having change everything.
As always I hope this helps fanfic writers as well as other members of the fandom with wanting their OCs to be connected back to our favourite main characters.
For over a decade, Colonel Alejandro Vargas has been a high-ranking member in The Fuerzas Especiales (Mexican Special Forces), a Tier 1 Mexican Army Special Mission counter-terror unit. Alejandro has played a major role in the Drug War, undertaking reconnaissance operations and kill or capture missions. Alejandro’s unit, called Los Vaqueros, is the only unit in Mexico certified to operate alongside Western Special Operations Forces.
Despite being surrounded by violence, criminality and a ruthless well-funded enemy, Alejandro is an incorruptible, highly dedicated, and disciplined leader who is fiercely committed to the rule of law. Proud of his country, every day he pushes headlong into the fight for what’s right. By not compromising his ideals, resisting, and foiling the cartels, Alejandro believes he keeps the hope for a better world alive.
AN: I was unable to find a video of his operator bio or record one myself since Activision has removed him as a buyable operator. Here is what I had previous written of his operator bio.
Thank you guys for the love and reblogs on the Modern Warfare Character Ages post, I’m still a little shocked that it’s gotten over 300 notes and has been noticed by @/gomzdrawfr and @/sleepyconfusedpotato who are both really cool and I love their stuff.
I just want to let you all know that Alejandro’s operator bio will be getting posted soon and I also just need to finish up on the MW (2019/2022) NPCs allies and enemies list. Hopefully both of these will be out by the end of the week.
Again thank you sooo much for the support, and let me know if there’s anything else you guys want to see specifically. For example a list or video of certain key phrases characters use, like Price asking “are you broken?”
