I've been dying to find a place near me that sells authentic birria tacos so I can try them. They look so good.

My trip to ireland was amazing and would love to go back. I'll never forget the endless amount of highly narrow stairs to get to the top of this castle to kiss the blarney stone. The view outside the stone window openings in the staircase was breathtaking!

Such an important message. If you see trash on the sidewalk as you walk by pick it up or in the sand as you're walking the beach. It's the little things that count.

I'd love to try to press flowers again. I had a beautiful bouquet this passed April and tried to press the flowers but I may have waited too long before attempting to press them.
Any tips are welcome 💕

Well, here it goes. My name is Bri, I am 28yrs old living in New Jersey. I just bought my first home with my fiancé James where we live with our dog Buster. Without all of our boxes unpacked... Surprise! I’m pregnant.
With all of the craziness we call life, finding out I was pregnant has made me slow down and think more about my day to day living. What are the important things in life? What makes me happy? What values do I want to teach my future child? This is where my interests came into play.
Cook. Create. Talk.
Cook. While my inner foodie self would love to quit my job, travel the world, and taste foods from all different cultures... I live on the other side of the spectrum and attempt different recipes that are less culturally diverse in the comfort of my home while also working full time. I truly enjoy cooking, appreciating the outcome, and sharing it with my loved ones.
Create. I have also considered myself to be creative. I am opening myself up more to free-flowing painting creations. I am looking to expand my creative side and try more crafts/DIY projects for my new home and our new baby to be. Being able to have a creative space is key.
Talk. I like to talk, but not just about the weather or the silly mundane conversations we hold, but I like to get real. I’ve learned to be open and to not feel ashamed speaking out about things people don’t talk about often. I talk about my feelings and put them out there. People have rough days and that’s okay, but to be able to get it off your chest and turn it around is the best therapy for me. Overall, I try to be down to earth and positive to make best use of my days.
What is all comes down to is.... I think there is much more to cooking than just nourishing your body. It brings people together and it requires skill. Creating, making art, and finishing projects are important to teach patience and expand your creative brain. And lastly, I believe talking about your feelings and communicating them properly is crucial in life.
So here goes my journey to discovering myself, enjoying life, pursuing my hobbies, and creating a life filled with values and lessons to pass along to my little one!
