In the simple poem, Jayant Pathak beautifully depicts the contrast of human life. If on one end, we have examples of human endurance and courage, on other hand there are incidences of human frailty and loss. The poem tell us about the immense possibilities of a human life.

Rabindranath Tagore (7 May 1861 – 7 August 1941) is among the most significant creator to come from India in the late 19th and early 20th century. Credited to have reshaped Bengali literature and Music, he is often referred as the 'Bard of Bengal'. Tagore was the first Indian to receive the Nobel Prize, and the first instance of a non-european getting this recognition in the field of literature. The Nobel for Literature of year 1913 was awarded to Rabindranath Tagore for his book for poems 'Gitanjali' cited as  "profoundly sensitive, fresh and beautiful verse" by the Nobel committee. Tagore's oeuvre included magical poetry, elegant prose and spiritual songs that have enchanted readers till date.
Tagore's creative repertoire didn't end with literature, he has also contributed immensely to the Indian Art scene by imparting it a contextual modernism. Tagore founded Santiniketan that has given to the world some of the finest creators and thinkers.
Tagore's lesser known side is that of a musician. With over 2000 compositions to his credit, he has created an entire genre of music that is loved by fans till date and is christened as 'Rabindra Sangeet.'
 An author, a poet, a painter, a musician, a teacher - a polymath par excellence - Tagore's 156th birth anniversary falls on May 9th (Gregorian Calendar : May 7th Bengali/Hindu Calendar : May 9th)
The video is a tribute to the great creator and it highlights the important facets of his life and work.
