One week left to nominate!

Two weeks left to nominate a character for the Best DC Character (No Batfam) tournament!

Motivations:

Bart Allen (Impulse), Kon-El (Superboy), Greta Hayes (Secret), & Cassandra Cain (Batgirl)

Three kids who missed out on a childhood. Three lab escapees. Evil family member havers. They all have different relationships to killing also. Cass at one end and Greta at the other. Plenty of reasons to be close and reasons to be in conflict as well. Exploring the nature of predetermined paths based on your circumstances. Thawne, Luthor, Cain and being sacrificed.

Motivations:

Anita Fite (Empress)

Anita Fite was done and has continued to be done dirty for a long time. She spent the original Young Justice run being preyed on by older men, bullied, drawn half naked, been foisted with stereotypical depictions of Vodou, having her major spotlight arc co-opted by a random team up if basically every teen hero, having the climax of her spotlight arc instead going to more Cissie angst, and then receiving an incredibly dumb write out. Literally every member of Young Justice save her (and Slobo, but his circumstances are trickier) has since resurfaced in modern comics. Anita deserves her chance in the spotlight. The current continuity reset means we don't have to stay married to her bullshit ending. There's a lot of potentially interesting ground to cover with her relationships to the loa. She can have more insane homoerotic tension with other women. Maybe she'll almost stab a werewolf to death for looking at the girl she likes wrong again! DC is also sorely lacking a magical team book at the moment. She'd do great on a team as the magic user who actually knows how to throw a punch Bring her back!!!

Tim Drake (Red Robin) & Jason Todd (Red Hood)

Bring Tim back as Red Robin(preferably with Marcus To as artist again, his Jason would be so good I bet,and without Fitzmartin ) first of all. But also, these 2 could be so Hadassah together and have great and interesting dynamics and issues to work through. They have great banter together, have had their fair share of issues that would cause tensions, but ultimately care about each other and understand each other. Basically bring back their relationship from New 52! The potential would be amazing

Get the team back together! Let them have goofy, heartfelt fun. BeaTora and Boostle can be canon and Max can have his original personality back.

They recentely went on some sort of speedster trip. They have a very fun dynamic that should be explored more. It would also be nice to see more of Barts relation ships with Anita, Greta, Cissie, Preston, and Jenni Ognats

Tim Drake (Red Robin) & Jason Todd (Red Hood)

Bring Tim back as Red Robin(preferably with Marcus To as artist again, his Jason would be so good I bet,and without Fitzmartin ) first of all. But also, these 2 could be so Hadassah together and have great and interesting dynamics and issues to work through. They have great banter together, have had their fair share of issues that would cause tensions, but ultimately care about each other and understand each other. Basically bring back their relationship from New 52! The potential would be amazing

Judy's is the newest member of the flashfam and after having been captured for awhile I think having some similar friends would be nice

Tara Markov (Terra), Rose Wilson (Ravager), Eddie Bloomberg (Red Devil), & Jason Todd (Red Hood)

Rose has interesting dynamics with each of these characters and I would love to see them all interact together. She's currently close with Jason. I hear Eddie resurrected recently and he and Rose were close. I also know the Terra is the prime suspect in Slade's death (in fandom). Eddie and Jason used to be penpals and Eddie is one of the few people who didn't treat Jason's memory harshly after he died. Jason attended Terra's funeral despite not really knowing her.

They had an interesting dynamic and I am curious if reboot Terra now has the memories of both Terra I and Terra II. They were fun in New Titans. I kinda want to see them back together again.

The Amazons (+ Diana)

Batman has Detective Comics, Superman has Action Comics, so where is Wonder Woman's Sensation Comics? Given how delightful Amazons Attack (2023) has been, it would be great to have a regular book for all of the Amazons to star in. Imagine regular B and C stories for other Wonderfamily members à la PKJ's recent Action run. It would also allow greater focus on Yara Flor and the Esquecida, who haven't had the chance to have much spotlight focused on them to build them out in relation to the Bana-Mighdall and the Themyscirans. It would also be great to be able to have more than one take on Diana at a time—imagine a Wonder Woman/Sensation Comics split as drastic as the current Zdarsky/V split in Batman and Tec. There's even a logical Diana in Man's World Vs Diana with her sisters split you could play with.
