basically this is a vent post ab my misophonia

so am i the only one who when eating with my family i ask my family member "can you please not chew like that it hurts my ears?" and they get so defensive and say like " im js chewing whats ur problem?" my problem is that your chewing sends me into a fit of rage that makes me want to bash urs or my head into a wall or rip out my ears. Im sorry i react this way and i cant control it. i cant even listen to myself chew bc it triggers me so sorry if me asking politely for you to stop is annoying to you.
