Thought after my last post I would just add the spread I can eat. This is both lactose free and FODMAP friendly and tastes good too.

Keeping it simple for lunch today after finding ‘Genius’ gluten free bread I can eat. Just added ‘Arla’ lactose free spread, rocket, cucumber, tomato, and egg.

Joined the family having Sunday lunch...Roast Beef, which was really lovely. My dinner is all FODMAP friendly...Only allowed a moderate amount of broccoli..They say 3/4 of cup...so hope a floret is fine?
I couldn’t have the Yorkshire pudding, cabbage and gravy...Must try making Gluten free Yorkshires and find a recipe for FODMAP friendly gravy.
Even so a very nice lunch....

Yay... Much excitement I have finally found a loaf I can eat on a low FODMAP diet!..
Also have bought some gluten and wheat free flour. So may attempt to make my own bread again...But without the bread maker!!....

Was really pleased with last night’s dinner
Chicken Curry: Chicken, Red pepper, yellow pepper, aubergine, courgette, spinach, passata, homemade chicken stock, fresh ginger, cumin, medium curry powder and lactose free natural yogurt.
Really tasty and all low FODMAP ingredients. Will probably add a little more heat next time...maybe a little fresh chili.

Today’s lunch - “Chicken egg fried rice”
With my need to avoid bread at the moment, after my recent attempts!!..say no more....
Using white rice, chicken, red pepper, fresh ginger, Chinese 5 spice, soy sauce, eggs and ground black pepper... All low FODMAP ingredients.
Using precooked chicken and rice leftovers from the night before, this was a surprisingly quick lunch to make....and tasted yummy!!!

Oh dear my first disaster!!! After my unsuccessful Tesco gluten free bread. I decided to make my own!! Buying Dove Farm free from flour and draged my once loved bread maker from the loft and dusting it off. I set to work loading it up with all the ingredients. Getting my head round all the different elements of what I can and can't eat on the low FODMAP diet.... Found a great swap for my milk...now using Arla's lactose free milk... Great! Can't taste the difference...
