A Razers Edge I remember back when I had my first phone, the Motorola Razr. At that time, it was the must have phone of its time. Sleek, sexy and stylish all rolled into one, whenever you flipped it up it had a certain cool feel to it. I often wondered would I ever hear that name called again for a press release to show off a new model. Well, to everyone’s surprise we heard that name called just recently. But the craziest thing is ladies and gentlemen, it’s not from Motorola and it’s not even spelled the same. Razer! We all know it, right?! It’s the highly established and well-known company that makes outstanding gaming computers. Well, it’s their time to take their shot at the smart phone world. Only this baby has the specs to become the best gaming phone in the world. Handling a 5.7inch display with 120Hz refresh rate for a screen that gives you some real-estate and seamless game play. But, this is where things get exciting. Calling your phone, the best gaming phone on the market obviously comes with high expectations. This is the first time I can say that I was shocked with the specs reported by Min-Liang Tan. Storing 8GB of RAM and a 4,000 mAh battery, it is the largest in any phone today. A new feature includes a fingerprint reader on the side of the phone is extremely smart and convenient. But, out of all the many highlights with any smart phone I have a sweet spot for two key features and they nailed with this phone, front facing speakers and stock OS. In my opinion front facing speakers hands down is one of the top missing features on a smart phone. Adding stock android can make an already smooth phone even smoother. So far, this phone sounds like it has a lot of potential to be a hit. Yes, it’s not Samsung or Apple, but its adding features that we all wish that the main companies would add. So, for that Razer continue to take your shot champ. @razer #Razer #technology #blogger #apple #samsung #writer #tech #wireless #gaming #HD #sotckos #Razerphone #gamer #technews #innovation #android #smartphone #iphonex #speakers #PC #PCGaming #Steam #Google #battery #fastcharging #typec (at Washington, District of Columbia)

A tale of two displays: Luna Displays In a world where seamless amalgamation is a standard experience, as individuals, we often wonder how far it can go. Imagine how much relaxed life would be when integration between products becomes a lot more useful and convenient. Products like your refrigerator and washer and dryer syncing up with your phone are commonplace. A laptop connecting to a monitor is an easy transition for most, for it gives the compact ability of extending to a bigger display. So, what else can an original company with a unique idea and a vivid imagination come up with? What could a person do with multiple devices streaming one screen and how often can you see yourself using this? Well, let’s look at history. There was point when people didn’t think hooking up a laptop to a monitor was necessary. Laptops are meant to be portable right, so I’m sure the thought was to simply buy a desktop if you wanted a bigger screen. Now, hooking up your laptop to a monitor to edit videos or simply for researching for work is common. A simple plug for your HDMI cable and you’re ready to go. What about connecting your iPad to your MacBook? Seems silly to think about I’m sure, but not as much as you may think. The Luna Display combines a seamless transition from laptop to iPad. Why, well it’s compact and can transport easily. The USB wireless connection causes a lag free integration between the two screens, I know I didn’t mentioned that it was wireless, but, it’s wireless. O and lastly, there is neat little feature that was developed. Having two displays active requires certain settings needed. Well, tap the camera lens on top of the iPad and it brings up the settings; the Luna Display is truly a tale of two displays. #lunadisplay #ipadpro #ipad #writersofinstagram #tech #technology #macbookpro #usb #wireless #business #apple #blogger #gaming #integration #startup #multitasking #different (at Maryland)

God has given every single person a talent and gift that they are born with, whether it is writing, singing, acting, fashion et al. Due to the explosion of social media, the platform to display these gifts is at our feet(fingertips?). I’m a guy who loves technology and loves to write. I am also the same guy who feared posting my gifts to the world. Much like me, there are a lot of people that are held back because of that fear. Failing or being rejected engulfs our thoughts and weigh us down. However, my passion is bigger than my fears. There is someone out there who is following you and admires what you post, they sit there and think “I wish I can do that”. How do I know this, well because I used to be that person. I watched youtubers and bloggers continue you to do something that they loved without any remorse. The worries of what someone would say or what family would say, sat inside of me. I write, review and take pics because this platform is showing the next person that it’s ok to go for what you want. This platform is so much bigger than us; we can influence someone without even speaking to them directly. Even if this reaches one person, I hope that you shake off whatever it is that is holding you back. Every day that you wake up is a blessing, and it’s another day for you to achieve what has been on your heart, but you were afraid to act on. Keep your head up and smile, no matter how bad it looks, everything you want is on the other side of fear. #writerscommunity #writersofinstagram #fear #faith #platform #success #holdingon (at Maryland)

In the fictional world, the voice of a giant can be heard for miles. Even if it only speaks once or twice the echo will loom throughout the land for everyone to remember. It’s interesting though, how someone can voice the same sentiment as the giant but not have nearly the same impact. The harsh reality is that some voices have a bigger ripple on the world than others. Some companies build their success out of beautiful buildings, while others takes theirs in a spaceship. September 12, 2017 was marked on everyone’s calendar as the big day. The day every fan boy, tech blogger, and youtuber expected the new iPhone. So, the day came and the products announced one by one. Some were acknowledged with surprise and joy, while others were encountered with slight confusion and skepticism. However, one feature was announced that made me chuckle a bit; wireless charging. Now, to some, wireless charging is looked upon as the coolest and most convenient feature to have. In their eyes it is ground breaking and welcomed with open arms while others find it comical. Wireless charging is a feature on most smartphones that is as basic as a camera or calculator. Most of us have waited patiently for Apple to support this feature on their smartphones. So, why now that it is available, is it looked upon as a dynamic innovation? Well the reality is, Apple has a giant voice. Companies such as Samsung and LG are huge companies. Their phones like the Note 7 and LGV30 are gorgeous devices. However, to the outside consumer that doesn’t matter because Apple has spoken. Their platform has that effect. Apple’s impact on the world is so large that it made a simple wireless charging feature seem revolutionary. You need more proof, Energous, a wireless charging company rumored to be working with Apple for their wireless charging, on the day of Apple’s announcement of wireless charging, the company stock dropped twenty one percent. Yes, most companies have the same features on their devices as of late. Most companies might promise the best of the best. Nevertheless, Apple has surely proven that it doesn’t matter that you’re late to the party when you know your products will be the life of the market.

An Essential Outlook We often hear companies brag about how their smartphones are user friendly or essential to our lives. When a new smartphone hits the market, we hear phrases like “this phone was built with you the consumer in mind”. Well, with a name like “The Essential Phone”, it’s hard to ignore the play on words. When Andy Rubin founded Essential, he approached it with the core concept that “simple is always better.” Now with all smartphones, most consumers largely care about the specs underneath the hood. When your core concept is noted to be “simple is better”, we occasionally expect a company to decrease the specs to make things easier to handle. This is not the case when it comes to this Sprint exclusive phone. Andy Rubin stuck with the trend of the edge -to- edge display, while also adding at 3040 mAh battery to power it. Packing a dual 13mp camera on the back, it has let the rest of the competition know that it is serious. The more you dive into this phone the more you realize that they held true to their word. While most smartphones carry bloatware, Essential has eliminated that. Nonetheless, with up-to-date news coming out that this phone will be a Sprint exclusive, I guess we will have to see if this remains true. Simple implies that it will make your life easier for you to digest and handle. Andy Rubin and company created a 360 accessory camera that attaches to the back of their phone with ease. Anyone who knows about 360 cameras understands that they can vary in size. Essentials 360 camera has made it efficient, flat and easy to attach to the back of the phone. Essential has taken a stand in changing the way we view smartphones. Electing to have a combination of simple, yet powerful, features it surely has peaked a lot of people’s interest. The lack of bloatware will remain to be seen once the phone has launched. I, for one, hope that it doesn’t change from an image stand point. Adding carrier apps and bloatware doesn’t exactly scream simplicity now does it? #techblogger #technology #essentialphone #apple #samsung #sony #iphone7plus #360video #bloatware #simplicity #edgetoedge (at Maryland)
