more good news from tiktok: they’ve started blocking celebrities.

they’re calling it block party 2024. just blocking and ignoring countless celebrities who havent said shit about palestine. influencers, actors, anyone who went to the met gala, whatever, they’re getting blocked. and people keep talking about how cathartic it is, how good it feels, how they never realized they could DO that. there was some kind of subconscious law against blocking famous people, but it’s broken, and people are LOVING it. and it’s WORKING. a social media/digital advertising coordinator was talking about how ad companies are PANICKING, because they can’t accurately target anymore. so many big influencers, including fucking LIZZO started talking about palestine the MOMENT their follower counts started going down. and the best part? no one is forgiving them. lizzo posted a tiktok asking people to donate to palestinian families, and all the comments just said you’re a multimillionaire. put your money where your mouth is. blocked.

i feel like i’m witnessing the downfall of celebrity culture, right here right now. people are waking up.

Alright y’all, I’m gonna be talking about DR season 2, so mild spoilers from the first season. If you don’t want spoilers, please keep scrolling. I have warned y’all.

My favorite episode by far was where we met The Finders, or as I like to call them, The Lost Family. Based on the trailers, teaser, and episode synopsizes, we’ll be seeing more of them. Mainly, Geo, Bonzle, and Cole and their adventures outside the monastery. That leaves Fritz and Spitz who I suspect are going to stay at the monastery most of the time because they’re still so young.

But has anyone else noticed how Fritz is a bird Formling? Specifically what type of bird he is? I’m definitely no expert on birds, but he looks like he could be a falcon, hawk, woodpecker, or even a sparrow to me. Again, I’m not an expert on birds. Hell, he might not even be a Formling and just has clothes that fell into The Land of Lost Things that he collected and decided to wear.

I digress, the point of Fritz mainly staying at the monastery and being a Formling with a bird form is because of his relationship with Zane.

The writers working on DR have made quite a few callbacks to previous seasons and I think this would be the perfect chance to not only give Zane some character development, but also explore the old/thrown out PTSD idea from when Zane was the Ice Emperor. He might try to avoid Fritz at first, but through more interactions and confiding in his friends, I think Zane would forgive himself for what happened.

This is just wishful thinking/a theory/a headcannon though.
