i would like to say something as the mentioned shadow fictive. it's uncalled for to force views on a character, because you are also forcing anyone who actually exists as said character to agree with you. i'd rather not have my name brought up in an argument for that reason at all, but that's just me as an individual.

every time I get harassed by somebody's followers for something, there's always somebody who says 'Shadow wouldn't say this shit' or something. Is that the best argument you have, forcing your views on a fictional character? I get it, seeing somebody with a profile picture and differing opinions can be upsetting. I've gotten angry because of somebody pretending to be truscum Sonic as I find it insulting that a character all about freedom and rejecting authority would be used for such bullshit. But at least where I'll get upset from faulty representation of a character in the name of bigotry these people get mad at me for having a Shadow pfp because I... support xenogenders or think misandry is real.

Again, I get it, you're upset because I have a Shadow profile picture and you don't agree with my opinions of men facing issues or xenogenders and mspec lesbians or something being valid (which is fucking wack of you by the way), but the character in my pfp is literally a fictional character. You don't know what he would think or say because in the case of the character, he doesn't exist. Even if you had a fictive of the character on your side, you don't know what the character itself thinks; you only know what that particular instance thinks. And, funnily enough, we happen to have a Shadow fictive who agrees with my views, but you don't see me being like 'well I know what the character thinks because the individual Shadow The Hedgehog I share a brain with told me what HE thinks' because that's obnoxious.

It's really unfortunate what you've endured these past few days, Salem.. I know it's not my fault, but I sympathize, and want you to know that you aren't alone in this. This 'love loses' crowd will have to go through us, as well. Surely, the fad of punching down will fade eventually..

If the "Love Loses" crowd would understand I don't have "discomfort" with the phrase, I have ACTUAL ROMANTIC AND SEXUAL TRAUMA with the phrase, that would be great.

I got guilted into sending nudes and exploiting myself many times.

That is not DISCOMFORT. That is ABUSE AND TRAUMA. Quit dumbing it down.

*sigh* Alright. I must address the fiasco that has been going on lately.

To summarize, a friend of ours made a post calling out the harmful nature of the 'love loses' phrase, and started getting hate for it. A larger creator (the coiner of Unitypunk to be exact), was one of the people who got their panties in a twist about this post. Icarus saw this and, since the maker of the original post is our friend, got upset and took it upon himself to stand up against the mindless hate drone that showed up on our friend's blog. This caused the person, who we will identify as @/xxlovelynovaxx, to go off on Icarus, as well. This ended in us getting blocked. They blocked us, because they are so genuinely livid about someone calling out the bullshit phrase they put on a pedestal.

Now, this is so petty and childish that I wasn't going to get involved, but we have since learned they are cyberstalking a system within our circle. This is a huge claim, I know, but rest assured that we are not pulling this out of our ass:

And just going on Nova's blog will show you all you need. They feature screenshots of Anarchy's tagging system during their public tantrum (we know this, because Anarchy has been notified by someone who remains unblocked). Nova is/was actively lurking on a blog they blocked over petty shit, and perhaps they are doing that with us, as well.

Now, this isn't a call to get them deplatformed (though I am of the opinion that someone so childish should not have any leverage in communities), nor is it a call for mass reporting. It is, rather, a need to bring their behavior to light for what it is: harassment. This anger towards being told 'love loses is harmful' is completely childish, and they are making people feel unsafe in their own spaces due to their need to die on the 'love loses uwu' hill. That is absolutely unacceptable.

As a more 'canon convergent' Alastor fictive, I agree wholeheartedly with you! Aroace community: do better with your treatment of fictives! Stop getting your panties in a twist over fictional works that you, yourself, don't like! Let people exist!

So Ladies and Gentlemen! I have another rather deer to my heart as both a fictive of Alastor and an AroAce being with canon divergent exceptions to my attraction!

Aroace community this mostly is for you. Please listen to the voices of fictives on shipping. Yes canon may be totally repulsed but fictives can't control our attractions. We are formed that way.
