YOU GUYS READY FOR THIS COSTUME???

Loyegaté the wendigo is (almost) all finished. He attracted much attention at the costume competition and all around campus today. Creepy boy. Low and behold... this is all wire, paper, faux fur, and a whole lot of super glue. Crazy, right?

Loyegaté and Anna; Traditional

A wendigo must restrain his savage nature when a young child he accidentally saved simply refuses to be eaten. She must wander the woods until she finds her way back home, but she is far too young to know which way to go, and the wendigo certainly won't help. Can a three-year-old survive against weather, sickness, starvation and the ever-hungry beast that looms above her? Will she make it back into civilization, or will she succumb to her starvation... and be stuck with the beast in the woods forever...?

"What do I eat?" Nimim asked the trees, but they never spoke a word. "What do I eat?" Nimim asked the ferns, but they only paid heed to the breeze. "What do I eat?" Nimim asked the ground, and he got an answer. "How about a berry," it said. Out popped a chipmunk from his burrow hidden in the grass. In furry paws he held a blueberry. "What a curious little creature you are," the chipmunk said, and gave Nimim the berry.

"Where did I come from," little Nimim thought. "What should I do?" He crossed the fern bridges, hopped over lily pads, and trekked atop mountainous tree roots. He walked and walked and walked until his little belly growled and he let out a small cry.

He wobbled around on six legs and a beating heart, tiny wings a flutter and floppy ears that dragged on the dirt. Where was he going? He didn't have the slightest clue.

He was but the size of a thimble - such a small creature he was. He knew not of cars, or homes, of man or bustling little children. He simply was, and that was all he knew.

Fractal City - Part One; Digital

The first of a three-part series I’m doing with one of my best OCs, Yomi. He lights up a show for the neighbors of his town. These lamps might look familiar to you, but in a different era of a different universe, Yomi is one of the few to discover the beauty of colored light.

Mrumim - Photomanipulation

Mrumim comes from my own made-up language called Tiyerik, where “mim” means “small creature.” These creatures are a part of Yomi’s series. They’re evolved bacteria that have grown to lengths of 1-2 feet, weigh close to nothing, and give off a faint bioluminescence at dusk. They float aimlessly in the sky and currently have no purpose other than to breed and be eaten... They do have bones, but they are incredibly thin and are rather flexible. They also have eyes and what scientists of the era think to be organs, but both are ultimately useless. They still have a bit of evolving left to do...

Ornamental Mix; Colored Pencils

4-5 years ago, I created these guys (Naid left, Mix right) as a means of taking away a bit of stress. I grew so fond of them that I began writing about them. It was difficult, so I decided that human forms would be easier to write with, but I still kept their original form. I call it the “ornamental Mix” that I only use for celebratory reasons, such as his birthday or whatnot.

 Gosh, these guys are the reason why I’ve leaned toward illustration, animation, AND writing... After them came over 30 different main characters, 10+ weird animals, and over 15 different series bustling in my head.

Pokémon; Pencils

I grew up not caring for Pokémon, and naturally people had started asking if I had a favorite, to which my reply made some people gasp... So I started playing a game by chance and found out the tHE CHESPIN EVOLUTION IS AMAZING AND I WILL NEVER BE CONVINCED OTHERWISE. I also seem to favor the grass-types more than anything. Weird.

SHAZAM, I GUESS; Mixed Media

Little wizard boy named Thistle Riddle~ He wings it with his spells when in stressful situations, although he’s studied relentlessly over the months. The only other thing to do is tend to his garden. Or blast the damn wild hogs destroying it-- He... doesn’t have much power, really.

Flower Eye - Acrylic

A realism portrait I painted based on a photo reference. I used little fake flowers for the eyes. :D
