These are recent pieces made during group art sessions at Slough City Studios & Gallery in Petaluma, CA, USA.
Every Friday, this art venue brings together diverse creatives from the area to make art and hang out. Being a part of this has reignited my interest in collages.
The vintage “LIFE” magazines from the late 1960s - early 1970s are my prime source material for these collages. The homogenous stylization of the black and white imagery and text appeals to me. With these pieces, I am exploring narratives of women.

My collage “The Visit” is included in the excellent group show “Bits & Pieces” at the O’Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley, CA, USA.
It’s an honor to show this work amongst the high caliber pieces from other artists who work with collages and assemblages. It will be viewable until the show’s end on June 26.
