hey yall. this is probably gonna be one of the last posts about this, since im running out of time. because of @punkitt-is-here's super awesome kind reblog, i managed to make about 500 dollars, bringing me up to 1500, but after that things have slowed down to nearly nothing again. thank you to everyone that has donated, i appreciate it more than you could know, and thank you to the handful of famous people who reblogged and gave me a shitload of exposure.

im not sure if making 500 dollars in the next 2 months is going to be like.. possible. and after all the research ive been doing, im honestly not completely confident that 2000 dollars is going to be enough. im hoping that ill be able to pay for a few months of rent at once, so that im more likely to be able to get a place without already having a job in abq. so right now, my goal is basically "crowdfund as much as i possibly can so i dont have to live on the streets"

im hoping for a miracle right now. maybe, under the right circumstances, that could be you. maybe you just got paid and you dont have anything to use the paycheck on, maybe you have a bunch of savings that you could spare a portion of, i dont know, but god, i could really use as much kindness as i can find right now.

Ahh so sorry for not updating it more frequently!!! I've just had a ton of school-related junk lately and I had other plans for my free time. Now that holidays are nearing, I may post more here (in my country, holidays are starting 29th of December).

You are still allowed to submit songs, however do be aware that i may not recognize it until much later (as they're are about 60-90 songs in my inbox currently, and the number kind of scares me lol)

Additional notes: another serbian song from me truly! i swear ill get to your guys' submission sometime soon, ii just wanted to share this song ! The song is quite popular in Serbia but its writer isnt as well known, that at times its even thought to be a folk song - but it isnt! It also used to be banned because of "serbian nationalism" . over time the text would be changed and the song would be allowed to be sung, and it would be taught at schools, yet the name of the author wouldnt be written down so he wouldnt get money for it or sumth. The author wrote the song for his great-grandfather, who was killed in the battle of Mojkovac. Awh thank you for the kind words, anon! Honestly the idea of creating it came to me when I wanted to share a serbian song i liked (cveta tresnja from sabirni centar, which the poll for it is published and can still be voted on) but my mind was telling me that it would somehow be too 'random' to share this obscure none-english song with the world. that it wouldnt be 'normal'. i wasnt really worrying over whether it was normal or not but i guess i wanted to mae this blog as a form of way to normalize it i guess? and i also just thought running a blog like this would simply be fun. this type of blog is definitely not anything new or unique but i consider it a wayof sharing many songs many peoplemightve not known about due to most public media primarily being in english
