Sometimes I wonder if I'll ever reach the top of this massive mountain I'm climbing. In 2 months time I'll be what I always considered 'too old'. Maybe I should've started this journey sooner? Who knows. Maybe I should just be happy with the view I have from the ledge I feel like I've been on for a while now? Maybe I should keep pushing to the top if it kills me? We'll see. Good news! Today I finalised the script for the new Carrot and Toast comic book! It took me almost 7 hours to get all of my notes and plot line ideas scripted out properly, and I must say it's a really funny story with lots of clever little plot twists and funny gags! Well, they made me laugh at least! After all, I make these things for myself! Now comes the big scary bit... deciding whether I storyboard it, or just dive right in. Carrot and Toast Are Coming Home was a bit of a combo of loose storyboarding and then drawing the contents in my sketchbook, which I'd then scan and collate into comic form. This one is WAAAY bigger, the script was 10 pages, and it should hopefully equate to about 22 pages of comic. I can't wait until this one is in my hands! And yours!
