I Wrote You a Letter

I wrote you a letter,

I just want a chance to explain.

I can’t make it better,

But I want you to feel my pain.

I wish you knew

How sorry I am.

You probably have no clue.

I do give a damn.

I know I hurt you,

Though, you broke up with me.

But I broke you too,

How could this possibly be?

Driven to madness I exploded.

Psychosis took power.

Even friendship was corroded,

As my mind went sour.

It wasn’t my intention,

I’d never try to hurt you.

Despite your breakup invention,

Only respect was due.

I was hospitalized for a long while.

Not metaphorically, I was sick.

The bipolar diagnosis left me in denial.

It felt like a trick.

I became a walking trigger warning.

A label I’d rather not hold.

But that’s not what left me in mourning.

Losing our friendship left me cold.

I apologize,

I miss our friendship the most.

I hope you realize

My remorse lingers like a ghost.

If you ever want to connect, I’m here.

I understand if not.

I won’t try to reappear.

Some people only get one shot.

Hi everyone!!

I spent a good amount of time with Chat GPT tonight and it eventually helped me come up with this chronological list for the order of the majority of all things Avatar related. I'm not sure that I have everything; I'm not perfect--so if you know of something that you want added to the list, please let me know!). I'll try to remember to update this list when new things come out, but I can't make any promises so just keep in mind that this list is from 3/24/25. Things that are bulleted are apparently not as relevant (I have not read/watched everything yet and am working on it, so this is what Chat told me). "Dear Cessi" - Unsent Letter

~Disclaimer: Ok so, I have been waiting to post this letter for a while on Reddit but got shadowbanned for absolutely no reason! The goal was to get it on r/UnsentLetters; I’m hoping it will one day, but in the meantime I figured I should post it here on Tumblr. I’m writing this letter with the intention for the recipient to possibly find it one day, but only if they want to. There are some references that they would only understand in the letter so it’d be easier to find if they were to search for it. Ok, feel free to continue reading!~

Dear Cessi,

I am so sorry.

When we broke up, I got very sick for a variety of reasons and had a lot going on in my life that made me feel like I lacked a support system. I went into psychosis after things ended and sent out a strange letter to you and others. I was so sick I literally talked to outlets in my walls and thought I could time travel–you can’t even do that in DnD most of the time, but this was real life. I hallucinated, saw things that didn’t exist, and acted entirely out of character. I regret my actions all the time when I think of the chaos I caused. “My” (my parents) accusations against you were angry and confused because of my poor actions and illness, and they were wrong. My parents didn’t understand anything at all–and I believe you probably can, unfortunately, relate. I apologize for everything, including confused texts to friends. I wish I could go back and realize I needed more help before I spiraled out of control. My actions were so unfair to you and they make me want to throw up. Please know these actions are my fault and that my mistakes are mine, not yours.

The worst part, though, was losing you as a friend. Nothing has ever hurt more.

I miss our DnD sessions and friendship more than words can describe. You were my best friend, and you always gave the best advice–you also were the greatest listener as well, a combined talent few can call their own.

I know you haven’t corresponded and may want to keep things that way, as I’ve been blocked from the time I got sick. I respect that and have nothing but respect for you. I want you to know, though, things are different now. I am healthy and also have been stable for years. I also am confident and love myself for who I am now. I can’t help but wonder if you’d ever consider having a conversation so I could fully explain my story because I believe it may be very different from what you think. It may feel as if I committed a crime (it feels this way for me), but it was like I was drugged and intoxicated when I hurt everyone around me (I was undiagnosed bipolar type I), and I believe that should be taken into consideration. I'd have taken medication sooner if I knew what would happen. And believe me, I hate taking medication, but I have not skipped a day since becoming stable, as I'd never risk hurting someone the way I hurt you. I never got a fair trial or a chance to explain myself. I also feel like I’m being judged and ignored for everything my parents did, and I want to properly apologize. One conversation would mean the world to me.

I’d be so grateful to reconnect–even if it’s just an acknowledgment, that is, if Plyfthr wills it.

Introduction Post!

Hi! I’m edatheowlladyirl!

I’m so excited to finally share who I am. Welcome!! 🙂

Ok so, a little bit about me :)

-I use (she/they) pronouns– I hardly ever tell anyone this, though, because, well, it isn’t always received the greatest, and it’s a lot easier to just be referred to as she to avoid conflict at times when it isn’t something that bothers me. 

-I’m also demisexual. I’m fully on the greysexual spectrum…like ik everyone jokes about how demisexuals are just people with standards, but believe me, this is not the case in the slightest. 

-I’m queer (wow what a shocker considering the stuff mentioned above lol)

-I’m also a Christian (Wait? But aren’t you like,,, queer? Yes, I’m both.)

-I’m also very into spirituality as well, and I do believe in aspects of certain spiritual things.

-My favorite American girl doll was/is Samantha (yes, this was important to include).

-My favorite show is Anne with an E (I also love TOH of course).

-I'm a borderline infp/infj (I literally mean 51% p and 49% j from when I last checked but I think I'm probably slightly more j now).

-Something most people don’t know about me is that I have aphantasia! 

Oh! And why Eda, you may ask? I’m Bipolar…Type I. Yeah, this isn’t always received well. People with this disorder are often given a bad rep because there is a temptation to feel manic, so people just don’t take their meds and recklessly hurt others. I, however, do take my medication. Like Eda, in my past, I deeply hurt people unintentionally when I lost control (not physically, though). However, also like Eda, who has her potions she has to take, I will be okay with my medication and can succeed and thrive just as she did. 

That’s a lot! You will find, however, that I am much more than these labels. I am an imperfect, compassionate, silly, and confident person, and I love who I am (and I hope you do too!)
