Guys. I’ve given myself time but I just don’t have any desire or inspiration when it comes to my post-apocalypse fic. I’m so sorry, I don’t even know what it is. I’m really fuming!! Especially with how much effort I put into the world-building. I’ve tried but every time I sit down to write it I just either end up writing something boring or having zero creativity with it.

So, as much as it disheartens me, I’m gonna have to put a pause on updates for now. Thankfully we’re only a couple chapters in and there aren’t that many readers and I’m going to put a warning in the summary too. So sorry to all of you invested!

To those of you starving from the lack of content (it’s hard being one of your five-a-day 😔), I’m here to let you know I’ll be resuming my writing from the hiatus I’ve had on my post-apocalyptic fic, To Be Forever Still.

No, but really, to those of you who have noticed that since finishing Epistulae Heroum I haven’t been very active, I can only apologise. Few minor hiccups here in the real world, but everything’s back on track and I plan to have a good write-a-thon tomorrow.

My newest fic (that has been in the works for nearly six months 😟) has finally got its first chapter published!

Summary:

It’s 2258, the world is in shambles, Earth is barely habitable and Sirius Black needs to find his brother. Sirius Black needs to find his brother and James Potter has no idea Sirius even has a brother until it comes out that Sirius just so happens to be a descendant of the company that destroyed the world.

Or,

Sirius Black is kicked out of his colony (twice), James and Lily Potter tag along, Remus Lupin houses them for a while and Sirius’ brother is really fucking fit.

I KNOW!! I’M SORRY GUYS!! It’s been hectic over Christmas this year and there has yet to be a day where I am not some stage of hungover. But, I did not go overboard on the voddy on nye so hold onto your merkins because I am back in the writers room and cooking up a storm!! (That might have been the most millennial sentence I’ve ever wrote but oh well).

I’ll be honest, I’m sort of glad I’ve taken this break because I’ve been getting very lazy with the prose and been more focused on getting the chapters out than actually writing them so—hopefully—my comeback will be a good one (I say this as if I haven’t been gone a fucking week 😭). You can expect the epilogue of To My Mother before the 7th of Jan and the next chapter of Epistulae Heroum before the 5th.

Summary:

Remus Lupin, a fifth year Slytherin who despises his own house, finds a note on the windowsill of a bathroom stall and decides to leave a responding message underneath. The next day, he finds the original author has replied. Before he knows it, he’s sending multiple notes a day to a (sort of) complete stranger.
