Being a young adult is so strange. You enter a coffee shop. The 20 year old girl waiting behind you cried all night because she just came to a new city for university and she feels so alone. That 27 year old guy over there works a job he is overqualified for, he lives with his parents and wants to move out but doesn't know what to do about it. That one 24 year old dude already has a car, a house, and a job waiting for him once he graduates thanks to his dad's connections. The 26 year old barista couldn't complete his higher education because he has to work and take care of his family. The 28 year old girl sitting next to you has no friends to go out with so she is texting her mother. That couple (both 25 years old) are married and the girl is pregnant. Congrats on fishing libtb!!!! I loved it so much. It’s prob the 1st fanfic I’ve read that I wanted fanfic of, if that makes sense lol. Like even though the story you went with was soo good, I wish there was a chapter for each episode bc of the fantastic characterization and relationship dynamics. And now you’ve got me wanting these specific characters put into other sitcoms too (looking forward to Frasier AU). I hope you’ll eventually write again in this universe, but I’m excited for whatever’s in store. 🥹

Ahhh, thank you so much!! I can't even imagine having the kind of stamina that would be required to adapt all 200+ episodes 😭 It took me over two years just to do 25 lmao

While I am definitely taking a break from the libtb universe for the time being, I'd love to revisit it and add on one or two more bonus fics! A wedding fic (for any of the couples, honestly) would be really fun, or maybe my take on the Vegas episode, since that was always highly requested lol

I can't wait to really get started on the Frasier AU! It definitely won't be anywhere near as long as the Friends fic (dunno if I'll ever take on a project like that again 😂) but I think it'll be a fun change of pace, since it'll be more Jonathan-focused, and I'll also finally get to write Hopper and Will, two characters who haven't shown up in any of my previous fics (at least in any major capacity).
