HOT TAKE: Five Hargreeves wouldn't be attracted to anyone, BUT Delores.

Season 4 makes no sense for many reason, one of them being Five and Lila's affair. Now, we all know that would never actually happen. Neither Fve or Lila would betray Diego like that.

Season 1, Five was so in love with Delores. After years of essentially marriage in the apocalypse, they part ways when he joins the Comission. One of the first things he did when he got back to 2019; find and retrieve Delores.

Delores is pretty much ignored and forgotten about in the show. Five, the character, would not behave the same way show Five does. Y'know why?

Because Five WOULD NEVER forget about the love of his life and partner of many years, Delores.

By the time we get to the season 4 setting, he's been doing this apocalypse shit for, what, 3 weeks? He would never have forgotten Delores. Especially not in 3 weeks.

9 years pass, maybe easier to move on. More time apart. Time to grieve. But, in the grand scheme of things, it's been 9 years technically*, out of 40+ years in the apocalypse. I would imagine he's still attached to her greatly.

*9 years since he's been with Delores physically, but it was only a few days between 2 giant chunks of time. It's more closely 14 years.

Now, maybe he'd be actually ready to move on and date other people after 7 years lost to time (now at 16 years total)*. But, he would never go after someone taken, much less married.

He's also fiercely loyal, hence the 3 apocalypses, so he would never even think about going for his BROTHER'S WIFE.

Y'know how he has the tongue thing in the 4th movie, but like where did that originate? did it start at Hogwarts? Something he gained in Azkaban?
