Reader being taken in by bruce only five months after jasons death because reader reminds him ALOT of jason in small ways that only he can really recognize.

Like reader is super determined about something? So was jason.

The reader does something *slightly* similar to something jason did before he passed? Oh yea, that makes sense.

But the breaking point is when the reader eventually finds out bruce is batman and wants to become robin, and bruce is just like….

No i’m not doing the same shit twice.

But he doesn’t tell them thats the reason why he doesn’t want them as robin, so alot of arguments of them asking why they can’t be robin and bruce just coming up with half assed excuses…

Journalists Secrets

this was on my wattpad for a bit and i thought it would get more love here idk i'm feeling inspired ✨

You never thought that moving to gotham was a good idea.

Constant criminal activity, peoples property being ruined because of the said criminal activity, vigilantes being the main source of justice in the city, and don't be afraid. A guy dressed in a bat-suit is watching over you and everything you do! Followed by his trusty sidekick, Robin, and a few other vigilante heroes following behind him shortly there after.

There was the first Robin, Nightwing. a gymnast in blue and black spandex, who only showed up in Bludhaven shortly after the first robin left Batmans side.

Then you have Red Hood, a rumored zombie of the second robin who spent his time shooting bullets into the biggest crime lords in the city. More effective than flips, but- more messy.

Then Red Robin, who is more or less a tired brainiac who does way too much investigating for his own good, and who came after the third robin left batman.

Then, The Spoiler. who showed up coincidentally right before the Cluemaster and spoiling any of his evil plans.

Then the last, and hopefully final Robin, who showed up after The Spoiler left is seemingly the most dangerous out of the group. Definitely don't want to run into him without batman around.

We have both Batgirl and Batwoman, Oracle, Bluebird, and The Signal. all equally as creative as the ones before them.

But sadly, the addition of adventure isn't the main reason why you are moving to Gotham. no, the reason your having to move to Gotham is because of a new job opportunity,  weirdly enough. 

The reason you are being dragged to Gotham is for schooling. Their newest journaling program at your dream college selected a few students from your college to transfer over, hoping to help with the shortage of journalists in Gotham. Who ever thought the most dangerous city has a lack of people looking to write an article about current events?

At first it seemed like a dream come true, free housing, more job opportunities, and you can even meet people like Bruce Wayne, the main billionaire in Gotham, for a one in a life time interview.

Should be exciting, right?

Right....

So here you were, driving a moving van out of your small, safe town to a completely new world in hopes of your dream job waiting there for you.

Stars (Prologue)

You always knew who you were when you were growing up.

When you were five years old you won your first beauty pageant, and from then on you always took pride in who you were. You knew that your mom’s beautiful looks had passed down to you, and you were always proud about it. 

After that you couldn’t stop wanting more, to be more pretty, more clothes, and more winning. You had fun doing it all of course, getting ready to go prove to the judges why you should win the tiara and how much fun you had when you got ready with your mom. Or when you and your dad would practice speeches in front of your stuffed animals to get you ready for the real thing. 

What you loved most though was when you did win, you and your parents would go out to a picnic the next day to celebrate it. Always packing one too many sandwiches, fruit salad, enough juice boxes to last a century and a kite for you and your father to fly around the park.

You’re (y/n) (l/n), and you always were proud about who your mom was. She always made sure you didn’t take anything from anyone, while also being nice to those around you. She made sure you didn’t take anything for granted. Everything was utterly perfect.

That was until your parents had started fighting like cats and dogs.

You couldn’t understand at the time, probably having to do with something involving you. How “She’s focusing on her looks” or “she shouldn’t be worrying about eyelashes at 15” and such and such.

That's what you thought at least. 

So imagine your surprise when you came home from school one day, your house swarming with police officers and EMS. Imagine your horror when the police officer sat you down and told you shortly about how your mom tragically passed away, and your father in custody for what you believed was her death.

You all got set up in the tower for the movie night, m’gann, wally, and conner working on the snacks for movie night and by that you meant wally was obviously watching and stealing snacks, while connor stood close to m’gann.

You and roy were getting the couches ready with blankets and pillows, robin focusing on setting up the movie for them to watch. “So what kind of movie is this?” Artemis asked while watching robin, her arms folded over her chest. “A cabin in the woods” you answered while sitting on the couch, roy taking his chosen spot right next to you.

“Please tell me we will regret this decision” kaldur said from behind the couch, his arms folded over his chest. “Of course not!! I can’t believe you are so suspicious with my movie choices” you scoffed while looking at him.

“Better than that lame movie wally made us watch last week” artemis teased while sitting. Speaking of, wally walked out of the kitchen with a popcorn bowl in his hands. “Lets get this movie started!” He cheered while plopping himself next to artemis, followed by m’gann and conner by them.

“Oh (name) has to have a great movie taste! Everyone does” m’gann said while smiling, looking towards you. “Thank you! Now everyone be quiet and watch the movie” you hushed, making robin play the movie while you moved closer to roy excitedly.

“You have amazing taste (name)” roy spoke, gently putting his arm on the back of the couch, coincidentally right behind you as well.

Long story short, none of the team wanted you to choose the next movie for their movie night. Especially since they had to keep skipping the ‘good’ scenes, said by you.

“Todays the day” you told yourself, laying in your bed on a sunny morning.

“The day you go to school?” A voice called out, your door already wide open from your parent barging in to wake you up for school.

“The day i end it all” you mumbled begrudgingly before peeling yourself out of bed. You gazed around your room, your mess of a space that you somehow could only manage around.

You looked around for your clothes, getting dressed quickly before looking at the clock on your nightstand.

Welp, there goes the possibility of being on time. But that’s fine, nothing important really happens there anyways, right?…

“(Name)!! Get down here before your late!” The voice from before called, earning a groan from you. “Coming!” You yelled back, pulling on your shoes quickly. You ran out the door hurriedly, rushing out of your room and into the kitchen.

“You’re going to be late, grab something at the school” your parent told you, ushering you and your siblings out the door. “Make sure they get to school safe, and (name)? Don’t cause any trouble today” they said, patting your shoulder gently before closing the door behind you.

“Today’s the day…” you muttered, walking your siblings to school.
