I'm thrilled to reveal the cover for SCRIMSHAW, my new gothic horror novel and the next Deephaven Mystery!
Guinevere "Nev" Tallow and Danny Harper discover an old skull with prophecies of doom etched into its teeth. As the predictions start to come true, the friends must race against time to unravel the secret behind the sinister origins of the skull before it's too late.

What brand of water colour do you use?
I tried artist loft brand, but it's super gritty.
I typically use Holbein watercolors! They're not super cheap, but not super expensive either. The colors stay nice and vivid and I find it paints on very smooth. I've used them to paint my last two graphic novels.

New Author photo!
I've needed an updated one for awhile, and this portrait turned out suitability mysterious to go on the back of all the gothic books I've got coming out.

Hi! Is The Pale Queen a solo book or will it be a part of a series?
Good question! The Pale Queen is a standalone, self-contained graphic novel. I wanted to tell a straightforward kind of fairy tale, and I'm pretty happy with the end result.
