personally this has helped me heal from the past decade of me thinking my only purpose was to serve others i used to think that if i wouldnt hurt myself to help others and if i ever had a thought for myself then i was a terrible person

this is real? we’re really living in a dystopia as we breathe, but we don’t do anything about it. im tired of it. i wish that we could do something, or that i could on my own, but what can we do?

What is actually happening? Why do these people think that any of this is helpful or good? If any of them point at ANY religious text, I swear I will force feed “separation of church and state” down each of their throats. And if they keep insisting? I’d gladly shackle them to a post in a mine with no sunlight, little food and water if they’re lucky, and tell them to lead by example by shacking up with a corpse as a child.

Just a hunch here, gop. But I think being 14 and married to a gross older man or dying in a mining accident is a bigger threat to a child than hearing about trans people.

idk how many people have told me “you should love your family. your brother. etc” like no he likes hurting people when he’s hurt he complains when asked to do the dishes (any chore really and it’s rare that he’s asked) he likes to talk on end and yells at me when i ask him to stop or appear bored or busy with something else. ive realized that i don’t love him i don’t like who he is not how he treats me so with all the loyalty and love and bravery to stand up for myself I have to say it. im saying it on here because nobody cares who posts what on here, and no one goes by their real name so i get to shout this to the void of fellow nonsensical weirdos and it’s therapeutic

why have the president and other elected seats been a race of the rich? the whole government was built by rich white cis het men for rich white cis het men and it’s stayed that way aside for Obama. more and more i’m realizing that the u.s. is a theocracy with alt-right “christians” at the heart of it all. i’m tired of the lies and I’m tired of not doing anything about it, but i don’t know how to help. i vote and nothing changes. i try to talk and others start screaming. we say black lives matter, lgbtqia+ rights, feminism, gun control, etc but no one listens to me nor my friends because we’re “too young” and “influenced by media.” is this not my country too? because this doesn’t feel like my home.

As a Jewish person I ask- where is religious freedom for non-Christians in this new post-Roe era? Judaism tells us that our bodies are sacred and that life begins at birth. It tells us that a person should choose their own life when a pregnancy is endangering them. Some of us even believe that in life-endangering circumstances, abortion is mandatory in order to save the parent's life. About 83% of American Jews support abortion being legal in all/most cases, more than any other religious group. Judaism tells us that we need to do everything we can in order to preserve our own lives.

Where's OUR religious freedom? Does the US Supreme Court truly value religious freedom, or just Christian freedom?

When Tumblr is more politically correct and is better than the actual government (so… always…) we have truly found ourselves in the dark dystopian society that the Hunger Games tried to warn us about.

Government propaganda and a group of people who can see no fault? Yep.

“Outcasts” that actually turn out to be a significant percentage of the population targeted as the bad guys by said propaganda? Sad but true.

Corrupt politicians, power struggles, people lied to, and children dying because of it? Yessir.

Not everything is about one issue. They all are interwoven as “the issue”. Women’s rights, LGBTQIAO+, minorities, immigration, guns, and more. Most arguments about these topics I see now are about Christian views, and then these views becoming government policy. But as we are not meant to be in a church-state and instead have rules against that, I have to find that many choices and rules and decisions by officials are treasonous to say the least.

abortion is so wonderful. it's a beautiful thing. i love abortion and i love the millions of individuals, couples, and families who have received power over their lives and bodies thanks to abortion access. safe & effective abortion is a miracle of modern medicine and it is glorious

A friend of mine is doing a project for their university on the Aromantic and Asexual spectrum experience which is very exciting as this is the first time they've been able to express their sexuality in a serious enviroment. They don't have a tumblr they're willing to share but are sending their form to everyone in their contacts who are Aromantic and/or asexual, and have asked me to pass the Google Form around for them!
