summary: short story of barry allen yearning for you, sweet and soft. he’s a gentleman :)

Barry Allen thought you were ethereal the moment he saw you, your hair gorgeous and unique, your outfit fitting your build so perfectly, and your eyes. just stunningly amazing.

he wanted to jump into your mind and soul, learning every little detail and flaw about you, he wanted to learn your favorite color, which movie made you nostalgic and which songs made you smile.

you worked in the same building as him. he has seen you pass by so many times, each and every single time, you have made him distracted. his thoughts filling with you.

he didn’t even know your name but he wanted to so bad. he wanted to know you inside and out.

he thought of you on his walks home, he thought of you at night and in the morning. he heard songs that reminded him of you, someone he didn’t even know.

after what felt like eternity, he somehow managed to catch you not rushing off somewhere, knowing it was his chance to finally get to know you, your name and your voice.

while introducing himself- he stumbled and stuttered across his words, awestruck with your beauty. your voice sounding smoother and more angelic then he imagined. your name felt perfect on his tongue.

you quickly became friends. both being somewhat awkward with eachother but the bond still there, Barry began walking you home after work, the idea slipped out, he didn’t mean to ask.

“so if your not busy this weekend, and you don’t have to! but, would you maybe want to go out with me for lunch?”

he’s ask, not truly realizing what he said. his mouth and mind moved to fast for him, unlike usual.

he was so relieved and so happy, so many emotions when you accepted, beautiful light blush dusting your cheeks, your perfectly imperfect smile gracing his eyes. he was lucky.

for some reason the universe blessed him. they gave him you. maybe it was a gift for his hero work, maybe it was just a gift for living, he has something to live for now.

• you begin to notice little things more, and take those little things for granted. your grateful for him.
