I spent the weekend doing a lot of reflecting. Trying to process all I am learning as I listen and absorb what I am hearing, and realize what I have not really been hearing all along. I attended my first protest, and learned. And while much is left to do, I started today with a small step. I reviewed the list thoughtfully compiled by @flavorbehavior of Black-owned NJ restaurants. I wrote a blog post to share the list on my platform. I vowed to do better to visit more of these restaurants with my family and friends and learn what makes them special.
