NEW SHOP!

it's under my main's branding @ruinouslore! (ill make another announcement post over there tomorrow)

Moving most of my alterhuman stock (and misc stickers) from Etsy onto a Shopify store! It's cheaper too! Any new alterhuman, queer, personal, not-so-mainstream designs will be homed here :D

keychains and pins of all my alterhuman designs have been restocked! You may notice my mini pins price have increased (by +$1 on shopify, +$2 on etsy), and that's due to me realizing $3 per pin was awesome but not sustainable business wise (fees are ravenous), hence I needed to adjust things to remain afloat :(

anyway, hope this new change works out in favor of yall and my silly business! let me know if any of yall have questions/concerns using the new shop :] (especially if shipping costs look weird...still getting used to the way shopify functions)

I'll keep my keychain and pin listings still up on @grackleink-studio Etsy page for visibility but I'll keep it low stocked/higher priced.

@for-the-sillys will remain my blog ill yap about alterhuman and related stuff since I built a following for that on here (y'all are awesome <3), but I'll also be doing shop updates on @ruinouslore!

so if you want, you can follow @ruinouslore but i do also post random stuff there (mostly warframe fanart lol), so @for-the-sillys may be best for you if you just want more alterhuman related shop stuff.

if you're curious, ruinouslore shopify and grackleinkstudio etsy are the same store legally/tax wise. The name difference is cosmetic.

i'm also on the Starter Shopify Plan, so $5 a month (very nice!). Which means very limited site customization and no nice menus/product categories u_u Maybe one day i'll make enough to get on their Basic Plan..........

Alterhuman stickers maybe?

tldr: want to make more alterhuman stuff. is there a type of alterhuman related sticker you want to exist?

Kinda want to make more alterhuman products but I’m not sure what. I want to do stickers cuz ik I can make those privately anytime in my room (meanwhile pins/keychains are dependent on the weather outside and me being home alone…which is rare).

But…would people really buy stickers from me? Not saying in an insecure way, but in the sense what can I make that’s not already there at a good price on Etsy and Redbubble, for example?

I fantasize about making custom [insert]-type stickers but I have no idea if my design skills will be kind to me lol. But if there’s enough interest, I may try!

Another idea I wanted to explore was discreet alterhuman stickers, but I’m not entirely alterhuman myself (I’m unlabeled) so I don’t think I’d be able to come up with something relevant/meaningful to many peeps.

Anyway, long arse post to set up a simple question: is there a type of alterhuman related sticker you want to exist? Can be purely selfish (/lh), as in very specific to you (who knows, maybe ill open custom sticker commissions!) or applicable to a wider group! just need ideas for brainstorming, doesnt have to be fancy-schmancy :3

so therian wolfy mask sort of thing! Meant to be a dog but it looks more wolf/coyote

I wouldn’t call myself therian (I prefer to be unlabeled). I originally meant to practice sculpting so I could explore 3d print fursuit parts. But then my sculpt started to look like a therian mask so I was like “hey why not!”

anyway now I’m curious if I can make a few therian masks for fun. I do have some left over fur from the Furry Incident of 2021 that I have no use for.

Going to refocus my sticker efforts back to @ruinouslore operations wise. I'll be removing the stickers on my for-the-sillys ko-fi shop and move them over to my ruinouslore ko-fi shop (rn nothing much is there).

In the future, I hope to use bigcartel, but that's dependent on me opening a Stripe account, which I need to have a business website to get approved for (hence i want to focus on my ruinouslore ko-fi shop, rather than juggle 2 shops).

I'll still keep the for-the-sillys ko-fi sticker listings but mark them as sold out and update the image to show where I'll be selling them. This is because I have a couple reblogs listing the old link of the stickers and I don't want to lose a curious person's interest just because they click on an old link and it goes to a deleted listing.

To be frank, I'm not sure what I'll use this account for...I still want it around but i'm slowly getting more comfortable sharing more personal designs on my main account that this account is slowly becoming redundant.

If anything, I'll keep this as a place to advertise any more alterhuman goodies i make!

I may keep the branding but still host the actual selling operations to my main account. i need to consolidate my business operations lol i have so much nonsense going on

found some old keychains!!!!

found two therian and one otherhearted keychain that had minor visual defects, so why not sell em discounted?

They’re half the price of my normal keychains! You can buy em on my Etsy for $5 USD each! :3

Ended up with excess wood on the edges due to a cutting error, so I had to sand them down. However the sanding caused me to sand over the burnt “coloring” of the keychain edges.

just a cosmetic defect, the keychains still function fine!

I REALIZED I MADE A BIG STUPID OOPSY

shipping should be only $5 (in the US) regardless of how many pins you buy. But for some stupid reason I did something wrong in the settings that it tried to charge an additional $5 on each pin. My biggest apologies if anyone was hindered by this!!!

thankfully no one bought multiple pins yet and I corrected it now. Even if someone did, I would’ve picked up on it and refunded the extra shipping fee.

anyway thought I should mention that if you had some in your carts and were like “wtf $15 shipping for 3 pins??” Haha….

yeah never ended up doing a pin set cuz I wasn’t sure how many would buy a full set of identity based pins unless all pins applied to em. which is possible! Just not sure to what extent. Will list some bigger pins (one of each) later. They were my first cuts before I figured out what size I liked
