This is a poem I wrote for my boyfriend.

My Lighthouse

When the night is thick with shadows deep,

And silence sings me far from sleep,

I find your light, so calm, so bright,

A beacon cutting through the night.

When tides of worry start to rise,

And storm clouds gather in my skies,

You stand so still, you shine so true,

And I know just what I must do.

Like ships that drift in oceans wide,

You are the star I sail beside.

A lighthouse on a distant shore,

You guide me home, and so much more.

No matter where the currents go,

Your love’s the light I always know.

I won’t get lost, I won’t lose sight—

You are my harbor, heart, and light.
