♡ Emme Needs Your Help ♡

Hello! My name is Emme. I’m a five year old domestic long hair, and I could really use your help.

I was adopted and have lived in a home with adult humans that didn’t know to take me to the vet, and I’ve become very sick. My person wasn’t old enough before to help me, and because I’ve become so sick they don’t have enough money to pay for the help I need. The shelters in our area are very full, and kitties as sick as I am are at a big risk of being put down.

Right now I have serious dermatitis from a flea infestation in my home, as well as fungal infections on my claws, a wound from an ingrown claw, and I need an x-ray to check for arthritis. I also haven’t had any vaccines since I was a kitten, and need to get them badly. On top of that, I have a very serious allergy to chicken and some fish, and can only eat wet food. I’m now very underweight, weighing in at a little over 6 pounds (2.9 kg).

So far my human has spent almost 600.00 on my vet work. We’ve removed most of the fleas and started a intensive treatment, and many of my scabs have come off and I’m even growing my fur back along my spine! My ingrown claw has been removed, and my paws have been properly trimmed and cleaned.

However, I still have more work that needs to be done, and my human spent his money for the things he needs (like food and bus fare) to try and help me. His parents, who adopted me, won’t help with the costs, and my upcoming x-ray will cost the last of his money for the month.

If you could spare any money to help my dad pay for my vet costs, I would be super grateful! Our goal is to raise at least half of my total vet fees, or around 500 CAD. This will help my dad cover the remainder of my work needed, as well as any potential medication my vet might give me next week.
