The bookshop was empty. Granted, aside from Aziraphale and Crowley (and the occasional visit from a curious customer unaware that they wouldnโ€™t be walking out with any new books), it typically was as such. Still, any onlookers from the street would assume that the bookshop was more or less desertedโ€“ after all, the lights were off and the sign was flipped to โ€œClosed.โ€
In the apartment above, however, one angel and one demon were drunk. Or, perhaps, not quite drunk, not yet. Both were walking the line of tipsy, though it was quite early into the night. The sun had just dipped below the horizon, and the warm yellow light overhead reflected on the bottle of wine that sat on the table between them. Crowley was sprawled out rather comfortably along the loveseat across from Aziraphale, who was nestled cozily in his armchair. The angel was holding a book out in front of himself, a proud glint in his eyes.
โ€œDo you know, my dear boy, this book was personally gifted to me byโ€“โ€
โ€œIsocrates himself. Yes, angel, Iโ€™m well aware. Youโ€™ve told me damn near a dozen times."
Aziraphale huffed irritably, pulling the book towards himself and pressing it against his chest lovingly. He looked utterly offended. โ€œWell, it isnโ€™t my fault that interesting conversation topics tend to dwindle after six thousand years of chitchat.โ€
โ€œWell, no,โ€ Crowley conceded between long sips of wine. He glanced out the window for a moment, admiring the stars that were beginning to emerge against the dark sky. โ€œBut it is your fault that your only idea of interesting conversation revolves around books. Especially your books.โ€
โ€œNow, my dear boy, that is simply not true!โ€ Aziraphale argued, reaching out for the bottle between them and refilling his long-empty glass of wine. โ€œI talk about plenty of things aside from my books.โ€
Crowley arched a disbelieving eyebrow, and Aziraphale suddenly found himself feeling very intent on wiping that smug look off of his face. The angel glanced around the room, his gaze finally settling on the record player in the corner. He stood from his armchair and moved to flip through some of his records, and he eventually settled triumphantly on the newest addition to his collection.
โ€œAh, here we are! Look, dear, at what Maggie gifted to me this weekend. A brand new Tchaikovsky record.โ€
โ€œOh, yeah? Gave it to you, did she? Youโ€™ve never been the type to accept things for free, angel.โ€ Crowley commented knowingly before finishing off the last of the wine in his glass. He stood with a grunt and made his way over, beginning to rummage through Aziraphaleโ€™s prized collection of records.
โ€œWell, you know, she was struggling with the rent again,โ€ Aziraphale explained, carefully resting the record on the player and settling the needle on top, โ€œso I told her that I would take the record for free, and we would call it even! Again. Scandalous, I know.โ€
Crowley didnโ€™t bother to hide the snort that escaped him at Aziraphaleโ€™s use of the word scandalous. He leaned to the side, his hip resting against the table. โ€œRight.โ€
Aziraphale hummed along to the record happily, his fingers tapping to the rhythm against his palm. He listened to the record in content silence for a long while, and his gaze occasionally flickered to Crowleyโ€™s face. The demonโ€™s sunglasses had long since been discarded, as usual, and for once, he actually looked rather content.
Crowleyโ€™s arms were crossed over his chest, and no matter where Aziraphale went (he couldnโ€™t seem to keep himself still; he moved to refill his wine glass, then proceeded to organize some of the books on his desk), he felt the demonโ€™s gaze on him. It would be unnerving if it hadnโ€™t become so familiar over the years and years theyโ€™d known one another.
โ€œThis is a gorgeous record,โ€ Aziraphale commented with a look over his shoulder, and he was clearly hoping to spark some more conversation with Crowley. โ€œSuch a lovely waltz.โ€
Crowley hummed in agreement (at least, Aziraphale hoped it was agreement), his snakelike eyes roaming across the angel. That was a look that Aziraphale still wasnโ€™t quite used to, even if heโ€™d been subjected to it more than a few times recently.
โ€œI learned to waltz once, you know.โ€
That seemed to catch Crowleyโ€™s attention, and he raised his eyebrows. โ€œDid you, now? In your littleโ€ฆ club in the eighteenth century?โ€
โ€œIt was a gentlemanโ€™s club,โ€ Aziraphale corrected firmly, pointing his glass in Crowleyโ€™s direction, โ€œand it was the nineteenth century. But yes.โ€
Crowley held his hands up in surrender. โ€œMy sincerest apologies.โ€
Aziraphale couldnโ€™t help but snicker, the alcohol in his system stopping him from keeping up his offended demeanor. โ€œApology accepted.โ€
The demon leaned back against the wall and raised his eyebrows expectantly. Aziraphale promptly frowned in confusion. โ€œWhat? What is that look for?โ€
โ€œWell, you said you knew the dance. Are you not going to dance?โ€
Aziraphaleโ€™s eyes widened and he shook his head, sure his cheeks were flushed pink (and from more than just the alcohol intake). โ€œNo! Heavens, no. Itโ€™s been years. Besides, you know, itโ€™s a partner dance, andโ€“โ€
โ€œShame thereโ€™s no partner around your apartment, then.โ€ Crowley said, the implication not subtle in the slightest. Still, Aziraphale was rather oblivious, and the wine wasnโ€™t doing him any favors.
โ€œAre you suggesting that we dance together?โ€
โ€œPerhaps.โ€
Aziraphale hesitated. Crowley didnโ€™t seem near drunk enough to be suggesting anything of the sort, but was he really going to pass up this opportunity? No, no he was not.
โ€œIโ€™ll teach you.โ€ He said, not bothering to hide his excited little grin. He set his wine glass down and reached out for Crowleyโ€™s hands, pulling one around his waist and holding the other with his own. Crowley pulled him a little closer, and Aziraphale cleared his throat nervously.
Oh, Lord, maybe this wasnโ€™t the best idea.
โ€œRight, so,โ€ he began, his voice a little strangled, โ€œjustโ€ฆ follow my lead, I suppose. Step backwards, yes, and thenโ€ฆโ€
Crowley learned the steps surprisingly quickly, and Aziraphale had half a mind to ask him if he had danced like this before. He didnโ€™t want to ruin the mood, though, and so he held his tongue. Eventually, he stopped giving directions and just let himself enjoy the dance.
The record ended far too quickly, and he realized all too suddenly that Crowleyโ€™s nose was mere centimeters from his. He cleared his throat and smiled, moving to pull away from Crowley. โ€œRight, well, that wasโ€“โ€
The demon clearly had other plans, as he gave Aziraphaleโ€™s hand a squeeze before dipping him down. The angel let out a rather undignified squeak and grasped Crowleyโ€™s shirt, glaring daggers at him while he chuckled.
โ€œYouโ€“ you are a menace,โ€ he groaned. His cheeks felt hot, and he moved to brush off his waistcoat as if it had somehow become dirty. โ€œThat wasnโ€™t funny.โ€
โ€œItโ€™s part of the dance, is it not?โ€ Crowley challenged, still laughing softly as he watched Aziraphale adjust his coat.
โ€œYes, wellโ€ฆ I wasnโ€™t expecting it.โ€
โ€œI suppose that was the point.โ€
Aziraphale brushed an unruly curl off of his forehead, reluctantly allowing Crowley to slide an arm around his waist again.
That was a lie, really; he wasnโ€™t reluctant in the slightest. His head settled comfortably against Crowleyโ€™s collarbone as the demon kissed the top of his head. Heโ€™d never admit to the shiver that ran down his spine in response. This was certainly new territory, and he couldnโ€™t deny that he was nothing but fond of it. โ€œHorrible. Youโ€™re horrible.โ€
โ€œRight. You sound like you mean that.โ€
โ€œI do.โ€ Aziraphale insisted. He lifted his head and pressed a soft kiss to Crowleyโ€™s cheek. Crowley hummed contently, and so Aziraphale did it again. โ€œI really do.โ€
โ€œI entirely believe you.โ€ The demon deadpanned, beginning to pull Aziraphale towards the loveseat.
โ€œYou should,โ€ Aziraphale agreed, even as he sat down on the loveseat and snuggled up against Crowleyโ€™s side. He wasnโ€™t sure that he could recall ever being more comfortable. โ€œItโ€™s true.โ€
Crowley ignored him, sliding an arm across his shoulders and pulling him closer. His free hand grabbed both of their wine glasses from the coffee table. โ€œMore wine, angel?โ€
โ€œYes, please.โ€

Jayce and Viktor are reincarnated as modern-day college students after the events of season two. They don't retain their memories, but they begin having flashbacks of their past lives with one another.
Tumblr media
Studying with Mel was one of Jayceโ€™s favourite ways to spend his afternoons. Granted, that was mostly because it turned into a gossip session after an hour or so of productivity, but hey. He just enjoyed having some fun every now and thenโ€“ so sue him.
Right now, he and Mel were sitting in Melโ€™s dorm room, enthusiastically chatting about Caitlynโ€™s new โ€œfriend,โ€ Vi, whoโ€™d been taking up more and more of her time recently. She had told them that she and Vi were studying together nearly every day, but Jayce wasnโ€™t stupid, and neither was Mel.
โ€œI mean, seriously, sheโ€™s always so giggly when theyโ€™re texting! She might as well admit that sheโ€™s head over heels for this girl. Itโ€™s like sheโ€™s the only one who doesnโ€™t realize how bad sheโ€™s got it.โ€
Jayce, half-focused on his laptop and half-focused on what Mel was saying, hummed and nodded in agreement. โ€œUh-huh. Itโ€™s bad.โ€
Mel looked up from her page of notes, narrowing her eyes at him. Sheโ€™d always been able to read him too well; it was almost scary. โ€œSomethingโ€™s up with you, too, isnโ€™t it? Youโ€™re acting all distracted.โ€
โ€œIโ€™m always distracted,โ€ Jayce pointed out, lifting his head and casting a glance across the bed at her. She, as per usual, had made herself comfortable on the edge of his bed, her hair pulled back messily and her binder in her lap. โ€œYou know that.โ€
โ€œOkay, yeah, but this is a different kind of distracted. Like somethingโ€™s on your mind.โ€
He huffed, just barely resisting the urge to roll his eyes. He hated that she was right. And usually, he wouldnโ€™t hesitate to tell her what had been bothering himโ€“ she was his best friend, after all. But something about his recent Viktor situation gave him pause. Sheโ€™d listen to him, he knew, but he didnโ€™t exactly want to look like a creep. He was having deju-vu fueled daydreams about a man that heโ€™d barely known for two weeks; if that didnโ€™t make him look like a creep, he didnโ€™t know what would. But Mel was looking at him so expectantly, and she was stubborn as hell. She wouldnโ€™t let him brush this off.
โ€œThis physics project is just stressing me out.โ€ He said. It was only a half-lie; the project wasnโ€™t exactly stressing him out, but working with Viktor certainly was.
Mel gave him a look, one that clearly communicated her thoughts on that: โ€œYeah, right.โ€
โ€œYouโ€™re such a pain in the ass,โ€ Jayce mumbled, leaning back against his pillows and closing his laptop. He guessed it would probably be good for him to get this off his chest, and he trusted Mel more than anyone. โ€œItโ€™s nothing serious. I justโ€ฆ I dunno. You ever get the feeling that somethingโ€™s already happened to you, even if it hasnโ€™t?โ€
โ€œLikeโ€ฆ dรฉjร  vu?โ€
Jayce nodded. โ€œYeah. That. Iโ€™ve been hanging out with this guy lately, and I keep getting this weird feeling that Iโ€™ve known him for a long time, even though itโ€™s only been a few weeks.โ€
Mel hummed, closing her notebook and placing her full attention on him.ย  โ€œYouโ€™ve never met him before? Maybe you two, like, went to school together when you were younger, and youโ€™ve forgotten.โ€
โ€œNah,โ€ Jayce denied, shaking his head and biting his lower lip. He contemplated bringing up the daydreams, but decided against it. โ€œHe grew up in Zaun. Down in the Lanes.โ€
โ€œYouโ€™re talking about Viktor, arenโ€™t you?โ€
Jayce blinked a few times. Leave it to Mel to read him like a book. He honestly didnโ€™t know how she did it. โ€œ...uh, yeah. I am.โ€
โ€œYouโ€™ve been acting weird since you guys got paired up for this project. Before that, actually.โ€ She said, tilting her head to the side and raising her eyebrows knowingly. โ€œSure youโ€™re not leaving something else out?โ€
Jayce could only cast a glare at her. โ€œFine, fine. But it sounds weird.โ€
โ€œYou always sound weird.โ€
โ€œYouโ€™re so sweet,โ€ he deadpanned, then sighed and stared up at the ceiling. โ€œBut fine. Iโ€™ve had some, likeโ€ฆ weird daydreams lately. They feel like memories, but I know they never happened to me.โ€
โ€œ...youโ€™re right. That sounds weird as hell.โ€ Mel responded, propping her chin up in her hand.
Jayce sighed, lifting his hand and flipping her off. She responded in kind, and he spoke up before she could poke any more fun at him. โ€œI know, I know. And it feels weird, too. I feel like a creep. But really, itโ€™s likeโ€ฆ like Iโ€™m remembering something thatโ€™s happened before.โ€
Mel hummed, her gaze narrowing as it roved over his face. โ€œI mean, youโ€™d probably look like a creep if you told him that. Youโ€™re going to meet up with him at the library this evening, right? Definitely donโ€™t tell him youโ€™ve been daydreaming about him.โ€
โ€œWell, I wasnโ€™t planning on it.โ€ He said with a scoff. She was trying to be a pain in his ass, he could tell, but at the very least, it was lightning the mood a little. It also made him feel a little bit less like he was going insane. โ€œIโ€™m sure heโ€™d still want to work on this project with me if I said that.โ€
โ€œYeah, I wouldnโ€™t ruin your chances with him. โ€˜Cause I can tell youโ€™ve got a thing for him.โ€
Jayce spluttered. โ€œThatโ€™sโ€“ I do not! What are you talking about? Weโ€™ve barely known each other for a few weeks, Mel, cโ€™monโ€“โ€
โ€œYeah, and you stare at him like he hung the moon. Youโ€™re not subtle, Jayce.โ€ She said, a mischievous glint in her eyes that made Jayce uneasy.
โ€œThatโ€™s such a lie! Heโ€™s justโ€ฆ I mean, yeah, heโ€™s pretty, but I donโ€™t know him well enough to have a thing for him.โ€ He insisted furiously, his cheeks flushing bright red.
โ€œWhatever you say,โ€ Mel smirked, peering at the screen of her phone before looking back up at him. โ€œYouโ€™d better get ready. I wouldnโ€™t want to keep you from your date, after all.โ€
โ€œItโ€™s not aโ€“ Mel, stop,โ€ Jayce groaned, covering his face with his hand. โ€œYouโ€™re such an asshole.โ€
โ€œYeah, well, you love me. Now go. Youโ€™re gonna be late.โ€
As much as Jayce hated to admit it, she was right. It was already 3:45, and by the time he got ready and took the long walk down to the library, heโ€™d be lucky if he was on time. And she was right; he did love her, no matter how difficult she seemed to make his life.ย
He got to thinking as he gathered up his things and shoved them into his bag. Did he have a thing for Viktor? Yeah, the man was cute. Pretty, like heโ€™d told Mel earlier. He hadnโ€™t lied. But, really, something about his daydreams made Viktor all the more intriguing. He felt like theyโ€™d known each other for years rather than weeks, and the version of Viktor that heโ€™d come to know in his daydreamsโ€ฆ maybe he had a thing for him. Maybe.
Shaking himself out of his thoughts, he waved to Mel and rushed out of the dorm buildings, heading down the pathway to the library. He didnโ€™t need to be thinking about any of thatโ€“ it was probably only on his mind because Mel mentioned it.
Yeah. That was it.
He rounded the corner and opened the glass doors into the library building, sighing heavily when he saw the clock: 4:02. At least he wasnโ€™t horribly late.
Jayce took a moment to catch his breath, trying to clear his mind as he looked around the tables for Viktor. He spotted a familiar head of messy brown hair tucked back into a corner, face in a book. Dropping his bag to the floor, Jayce took a seat across from Viktor, his heart stuttering at the sight of Viktorโ€™s hazel eyes. The sun hit them in just the right way to make them look golden, andโ€“
Good god, Jayce, get it together.
โ€œHey.โ€
Viktor nodded at him and gave a soft โ€œhelloโ€ in response, pushing his book to the side in favor of opening his laptop. Jayce did the same, his gaze flicking from the screen to Viktor and back again.
โ€œGot any ideas for this project?โ€
โ€œA few, though none that stick out to me,โ€ Viktor said, propping his chin in the palm of his hand. He tapped a long, slender finger against his cheek, casting a glance around the near-empty library. โ€œYou?โ€
โ€œUhโ€ฆ honestly, not really. I havenโ€™t thought about it too much.โ€ Jayce admitted sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck. โ€œTell me about your ideas.โ€
Viktorโ€™s eyes lit up as he opened his mouth, and Jayce realized that he had essentially just opened the floodgates. For someone who wasnโ€™t often very chatty, Viktor could talk someoneโ€™s ear off about something he was passionate aboutโ€“ and, unsurprisingly, that something was science.
It seemed like theyโ€™d be here for a long while.

Tumblr media
Being a muggle-born meant that, on his eleventh birthday, the last thing Jayce Talis expected was to receive an acceptance letter to Hogwarts. His mother, ever since he was young, had gently warned him not to get his hopes up. Of course, telling that to a six-year-old โ€“ especially a six-year-old as optimistic as Jayce โ€“ had the opposite effect.
Heโ€™d been obsessed with the extraordinary from a young age. He had witnessed an act of magic save his motherโ€™s life, for goodnessโ€™ sake; how could he not be?
Dreaming of the day he might get his Hogwarts letter was drastically different than the day it actually came. The mail had come, like every other day, and Jayce, eager as ever, ran to beat his mother to it. He disregarded every envelope in the mailbox โ€“ bills, mostly, and a birthday card from his grandmother โ€“ until his eye caught the out of place red wax seal on a worn-out looking envelope, and upon seeing the Hogwarts crest stamped on the front, he bounded to his mother and threw his arms around her with a cheer.
Sheโ€™d hardly believed it at first, and neither did he, but there was no denying that it was genuine. The day heโ€™d left for school was full of tears and hugs from his overly-affectionate mother, who had made him promise to write to her every week.
Jayce didnโ€™t mind keeping that promise. In fact, even now, a few months into his sixth year at Hogwarts, he sent letters to his mother weekly. He knew it soothed his motherโ€™s unease about him being so far from home, even after all these years, and he enjoyed keeping up with her. It was a win-win situation.
Viktor, on the other hand, had grown up without much โ€“ if any at all โ€“ parental guidance. His father, stuck as Viktorโ€™s sole caregiver after the boyโ€™s mother had passed away due to complications during his birth, was distant at best during the years he took care of Viktor. He would turn a blind eye to his sonโ€™s advanced creations, ones that Viktor would spend hours upon hours developing, and it hurt the young boy deeply to think that his father couldnโ€™t care less about him.
At age nine, he was sent to live with his aunt without any explanation from his father. Andrea was wonderful, and Viktor would forever be grateful for the effort she had put into ensuring that he had the best childhood possible, but there was no denying that she did not replace his parents. She never even told him what became of his father.
When he turned eleven, he had been sent his Hogwarts acceptance letter. It hadnโ€™t exactly been a big surprise for him, nor for Andrea โ€“ their family had a long history of rather powerful magic. There had never really been a question of if he would get a letter.
Through the years of being at Hogwarts, Viktorโ€™s communication with his aunt had lessened greatly. He stayed with her during the summers, of course, but he only wrote to her once a month or so when school was in session. He chose to stay at the school during their winter break, too; it was a chance to get some extra studying done. Besides, he hated the long train journeys.
Viktor enjoyed his time at Hogwarts, unremarkable though it had been. He benefited from time with his professors; most of the time, they were the only people he interacted with. He would always be appreciative of their ability to put up with his seemingly endless stream of questions, especially during his first year at the school. What could he say? Heโ€™d been a very curious child, and the lack of social interaction certainly didnโ€™t help.
Jayceโ€™s years at Hogwarts had beenโ€ฆ well, certainly more eventful than Viktorโ€™s, but nothing extraordinary. Between his time spent studying, his spot on Ravenclawโ€™s quidditch team, and his frequent interactions with his social circle, he didnโ€™t have time for much else โ€“ and he was fine with that.ย
The two had Defence Against the Dark Arts together, not that they knew it. Jayce spent his time with Mel during that class, and Viktor chose to sit by himself. If it hadn't been for Professor Reveck (or Singed, as Viktor had heard others referring to him as), they never would have interacted. But a partner project had been assigned, and though Viktor would much rather do his work on his own, he was glad to at least be paired up with someone smart โ€“ not to mention, someone who seemed nice and bearable, for the most part.
Each duo had been assigned a research topic that had to do with the dark arts. Viktor, well-versed in the topics of the dark arts thanks to many a conversation with his aunt, was surprised to see the words โ€œThe Hexcoreโ€ printed in neat cursive ink at the top of their scroll. Not only had he never heard of anything of the sort, but it seemed to stand out from the other studentsโ€™ topics, which all fell into categories of hexes or curses.
Viktor looked up, only to see an incredibly confused-looking Jayce staring back at him. Well, at least that confirmed his suspicions โ€“ something was incredibly off about their project. โ€œHave youโ€ฆ ever heard of this?โ€ Jayce muttered, leaning across the desk between them so that Viktor could hear him.ย
Viktor, who had been repeatedly mouthing the word โ€œHexcoreโ€ under his breath as if to see if he could recall some distant memory, managed only a shake of his head in response. He felt eyes boring into the back of his head, and when he cast a glance backwards, he was met with the harsh gaze of Professor Reveck.
Quickly looking back towards Jayce, he let out a frustrated little huff. โ€œIโ€™ve got no clue what this is. Surely thereโ€™s been a mistake.โ€
Jayce bit his lip, turning the scroll towards him as if reading it again would make it make any more sense. โ€œMaybe.โ€
They agreed to meet with Professor Reveck after class was dismissed, but they neednโ€™t have worried โ€“ while other students were rushing out the doors, the professor placed his hands on the desk in front of the two boys, effectively keeping them in place.
โ€œViktor,โ€ he greeted, his voice rough, โ€œand Jayce. I have aโ€ฆ favour to ask of you two.โ€
Viktor could only bring himself to blink at the man hovering over them, nodding stiffly. Jayce opened his mouth to speak, but was promptly cut off by the professor.
โ€œIโ€™m pleased to see youโ€™re both on board. You see, your project topic may be unconventional โ€“ Iโ€™m sure youโ€™ve noticed this already, yes?โ€ He began, tracing his forefinger over the words written in cursive. โ€œWell, this Hexcore, it is something that I am trusting the two of you with, and only the two of you.โ€
This time, Jayce did manage to speak up before being silenced by Singed. โ€œWhy us? If this is so secretive, surely โ€“โ€
โ€œYou are two of my brightest students. I know that I can trust both of you with this.โ€
Unable to force himself to speak, Viktor nodded once again. He found himself feeling both intrigued and oddly flattered โ€“ the knowledge that they were being trusted with something so formidable had certainly caught his attention. โ€œWhat is its purpose?โ€ He dared to ask, glancing up at Singed once again.
โ€œUnknown. However, I do have reason to believe that it could harbor the power to enhance and perhaps modify biology. This could prove to be of great importance in the medical world.โ€ He explained, straightening up and turning towards the door behind his desk. โ€œStay right there for just one moment.โ€
As he walked away, Viktor turned to face Jayce, his eyebrows raised and his lips parted. Jayce beat him to speaking, a hesitant edge to his voice. โ€œThisโ€ฆ this canโ€™t be a good idea.โ€
Viktor had to admit he was just as hesitant, but there was an underlying current of curiosity eating at his mind that he couldnโ€™t ignore. โ€œIf it has the capability to help peopleโ€ฆโ€
He trailed off into silence, as did Jayce. The tension between them was palpable, settling around them like an uncomfortably heavy blanket, and it was made worse when Professor Reveck returned. He held his hands out to the students, offering up the two glowing blue orbs that sat in his palms.
Neither boy reached out to take one, and he nudged his hands closer. โ€œHex Crystals. If anything will aid you in your research, it will be these.โ€
Jayce evidently wasnโ€™t going to take one, if the concerned gaze he sent Viktor was any indication. Though he hesitated, Viktor reached out to take one of the crystals. It was smooth, sliding into his palm as easily as if it had somehow belonged there. The surface of it was cold to the touch, almost eerily so, but Viktor pushed that thought to the back of his mind.
Jayce, upon seeing that Viktor had taken the crystal without any sort of repercussions, reached out with a shaky hand to take the other between his thumb and index finger. Holding it felt wrong, but it only influenced the curiosity brewing in his mind.
Pulling his hands back and folding them in front of them, Singed watched the two in silence. When he spoke up once again, his voice was cold, betraying none of the earlier pride heโ€™d shown to his students. โ€œGo, or youโ€™ll both be late to your next class. Do not speak about this to anyone. Oh, and watch the crystals; theyโ€™re very volatile.โ€
With that last word of warning, he was gone, having walked back into his office and leaving the two to their devices. Viktor cradled the crystal in his palm for another moment before silently tucking it into a pocket of his messenger bag. He reached out for his crutch and braced himself to stand.
โ€œAre you sure about this?โ€ Jayce said, following suit. He still held the crystal in his hand, staring at it with what could only be described as disdain. โ€œI mean, if itโ€™s supposed to help peopleโ€ฆโ€
It was as if he was trying to convince himself that what they were doing wasnโ€™t wrong. It gave Viktor an uneasy sinking feeling in his stomach, one that he tried to ignore.
Viktor began to walk towards the door, and after Jayce tucked his Hex Crystal into his bag, he trailed right behind. โ€œItโ€™s our assignment,โ€ he insisted, casting a glance over his shoulder at Jayce. โ€œMeet me in the library after dinner. We can find more information on it then.โ€
Jayce nodded, though Viktor could still see the way his hand trembled as he reached out to open the door. Viktor stepped through with a quiet โ€œthank you,โ€ offering Jayce what he hoped to be a reassuring smile.
They could do this. Viktor knew they could. It wasnโ€™t as though it was anything too absurd โ€“ just a research project. Nothing more, and nothing less.
As he parted ways with Jayce and began to walk through the grounds to his next class, Viktor couldnโ€™t help but feel as though the weight of the Hex Crystal was straining on his bag. Little though it may be, its impact would prove to weigh heavily on both his mind and body.

Jayce and Viktor are reincarnated as modern-day college students after the events of season two. They don't retain their memories, but they begin having flashbacks of their past lives with one another.
Tumblr media
If you were to ask Viktor what his least favourite part of being in school was, he would answer โ€œgroup workโ€ without hesitation. Sure, maybe it taught him important social skills and how to function with other people in the workplace, but he didnโ€™t care. Heโ€™d heard that argument since he was a child. All of his experience with group projects involved doing every bit of the work while others took credit.
It didnโ€™t help that he didnโ€™t have many people to choose to work with, either. There was Sky, but she didnโ€™t have any classes with him โ€“ damn her for being a morning person. Viktor didnโ€™t understand how she could handle physics at 7 am without tearing her hair out, but more power to her, he supposed. He didnโ€™t think he would survive that kind of torture routinely.ย
Well, just his luck, his physics professor decided that she wanted to assign a project for the last few weeks of the semester. After a huge test, no less. God, Viktor could use a break. At least it was only a partner project. He wasnโ€™t sure he could deal with having to do the work of three people aside from himself.
While the others in the classroom milled about, finding seats with their friends to begin their work, Viktor stayed firmly put in his own chair. Heโ€™d just wait until someone approached him as a last-ditch effort, he guessed. He could really use Sky right about now.
His gaze landed on the front of the room, where Jayce was standing next to Mel. Viktor assumed theyโ€™d be partnering up. But, much to his surprise, Mel stepped past Jayce and sat down next to the blue-haired girl in the front โ€“ Viktor was pretty sure her name was Caitlyn, though he wasnโ€™t positive. While looking around dejectedly, Jayceโ€™s gaze fell on Viktor, and he gave him a questioning little glance and a tilt of his head.
Viktor blinked a few times, hoping he didnโ€™t look as surprised as he felt, before he nodded. Well, this was certainly better than pairing up with someone heโ€™d never met before. On top of that, Viktor was pretty sure Jayce would actually do his work. That was certainly a plus.
Jayce dropped his backpack on the floor and flopped down in the seat next to Viktor, stretching his arms out in front of him with a heavy sigh. Viktor chuckled quietly, more than a little amused at the manโ€™s melodramatic actions. Normally, something of the sort would annoy him to no end, butโ€ฆ Jayce seemed to be able to get away with a lot more than most. Viktor didnโ€™t want to think about why that was.
โ€œI guessed you and Mel would partner up.โ€
Jayceโ€™s nose scrunched up as he looked in the direction of Mel and Caitlyn, who were chatting and laughing at the front of the classroom. His look could easily have been mistaken for disdain if it werenโ€™t for the clear hint of fondness in his gaze. โ€œI thought we would, too. But I guess Iโ€™m a third wheel to my own friends now.โ€
Viktor had a hard time believing that a man as effortlessly charming as Jayce would be a third wheel in any situation, but he didnโ€™t say as such. โ€œIt could be worse, I suppose. You could be left all alone.โ€
Jayce let out a huff of a laugh, shrugging his shoulders. โ€œYeah, definitely. Iโ€™d much rather work with you than someone I donโ€™t know.โ€
It was a passing comment, one that probably meant nothing in the long run, but it caught Viktorโ€™s attention. Jayce actually wanted to work with him โ€“ or, at least, would prefer to work with him over other people. That thought should not have gotten his heart racing the way it did. He was supposed to be more composed than this.
Pulling his laptop out of his bag, Viktor tried to turn his brainโ€™s focus onto their project. That would be much more beneficial than scrutinizing Jayceโ€™s every word or action. โ€œSo, I take it the test went well for you?โ€
Jayce blinked at him, almost like he didnโ€™t know what he was talking about, and then a flicker of realization crossed his face at the memory of their conversation in the library. โ€œOh, yeah, it went fine. The book you recommended actually helped quite a bit.โ€
โ€œI should hope so. That is my job.โ€ Viktor said with a quiet laugh, opening up his laptop. โ€œHave you given any thought to what we should do for our presentation?โ€
โ€œUh, honestlyโ€ฆ not yet.โ€
Well, that was helpful. Viktor took the hair tie off of his wrist and pulled his hair back, ignoring how he could swear he could feel Jayceโ€™s gaze on him. Maybe he was just imagining things.
He really hoped he wasnโ€™t.
โ€œI havenโ€™t either. Maybe we should meet up at the library to work on it tonight, if we donโ€™t get much done in class?โ€ Viktor suggested, lowering his arms and giving his head a little shake to make sure his hair was secured. It was, and so he opened up his laptop to take note of any ideas they had.
Jayce looked a bit surprised by the suggestion, but it didnโ€™t take long before he was nodding eagerly. โ€œYeah, sure. That sounds good to me.โ€
Viktor couldnโ€™t fight a little smile, responding with a nod as he turned to his laptop. He made a few notes, but nothing groundbreaking โ€“ he couldnโ€™t focus with Jayce sitting next to him.
Working with him was something Viktor felt as though heโ€™d done a million times before. They exchanged words with ease, bouncing ideas off of one another like theyโ€™d been partners for years instead of minutes.
Before long, though, they were doing more chatting than talking. Viktor, who usually hated small talk, much preferred to listen to Jayce talk animatedly about his chemistry teacher or the next big exam he was studying for. It was almost impossible to keep up with how quickly he changed topics โ€“ it was like trying to hit a moving target.
Viktor couldnโ€™t help but wonder how it was possible for someone to so effectively multitask โ€“ how Jayce managed to get his work done with such ease while also chatting Viktorโ€™s ear off was mind-blowing. Viktor sat hunched over his laptop, trying desperately to focus on the words he was typing while also comprehending Jayceโ€™s words. It was a losing battle, unfortunately. His fingers slowed on the keyboard, and he let out quiet โ€œuh-huhโ€s and โ€œyepโ€s while listening to Jayce ramble on.
By the time class was ending, Viktor was pretty sure he knew all there was to know about Jayce. Well, on a base level, at least.
He hated how boring his chemistry class was, even though he and Caitlyn sat together. He and Caitlyn had grown up together. He was pretty sure Caitlyn was seeing someone, but she wouldnโ€™t tell him who it was. He, surprisingly, liked listening to Mel and Caitlynโ€™s occasional gossip. He โ€“ right, that probably got the point across.
Jayce still didnโ€™t know much about him, though, which Viktor didnโ€™t really mind. He grew up in Zaun. Heโ€™d been lonely as a kid. His parents werenโ€™t around much, except for Viktorโ€™s doctorโ€™s visits. That wasโ€ฆ well, really, that was all there was to know about him. Heโ€™d never been very interesting.
That was fine, though. He would settle for listening to Jayce talk any day. He was nice to listen to, and as they walked out of the lecture hall together, Viktor realized that he hadnโ€™t felt so comfortable in another personโ€™s presence in a long time.
The epiphany was frightening. He was used to tense conversations, to eyeing the closest exit whenever he spoke to someone else. And yetโ€ฆ here was Jayce, making him feel like he was at home after only a few days of knowing one another.
It took Viktor a moment to notice that Jayce had stopped talking. Looking up, he noticed the slight raise of Jayceโ€™s eyebrows, and he felt a little sheepish smile form on his lips. He must have been asked a question.
โ€œI, uhโ€ฆ sorry, say that again?โ€
โ€œI said Iโ€™ve got to head to my next class,โ€ Jayce repeated, and Viktor was relieved to hear no sign of annoyance in his tone. If anything, he only sounded a little amused. โ€œIโ€™ll see you at the library, yeah? How does four sound?โ€
โ€œYeah. Yeah, four sounds good.โ€ Viktor agreed, watching as Jayce waved and walked down the hallway.
He held onto his crutch a little more tightly for a moment, taking a slow breath in and out. He needed to get back to his dorm. Some peace and quiet to think would do his mind good right now, especially if he was going to be spending the afternoon with Jayce.
Suddenly, four oโ€™clock sounded much too far away.

Jayce and Viktor are reincarnated as modern-day college students after the events of season two. They don't retain their memories, but they begin having flashbacks of their past lives with one another.
Tumblr media
It had been almost a week since Jayce spoke to Viktor for the first time. Coincidentally โ€“ or not, he wasnโ€™t quite sure yet โ€“ he hadnโ€™t had another bout of dรฉjร  vu since. He couldnโ€™t decide whether it was a blessing or a curse. On one hand, he was having a much easier time focusing during class. On the other, he was somehow thinking about the other man even more than before.
It was infuriating, really, and his friends were beginning to notice the changes in his demeanor. Mel had begun to interrogate him every time he zoned out during their conversations, and though he assured her that everything was fine, it was nowhere near enough to convince her. She was just as stubborn as he was (if not more, if he was being honest with himself), and it was clear that she wasnโ€™t going to give up until he told her exactly what was bothering him.
At the very least, he found himself studying more. He had a physics exam coming up, one that had the potential to kick his ass, so most of his free time was devoted to staring at his laptop, hoping that the words on the screen would cement themselves into his brain.
After one such day of studying for what felt like hours on end โ€“ though, in reality, was more like forty-five minutes on end โ€“ he abruptly stood from his desk, deciding that he needed to get out of his suffocatingly lonely dorm for a little while. Mel was in class and Caitlyn was busy โ€œstudyingโ€ with a new friend, or so she claimed, so he was left to his own devices.ย
Music blasting in his headphones, he tucked his hands into the pockets of his sweatpants and began to walk around the campus. The wind had a bit of a chill to it, just enough to make him shiver, but luckily, winter weather wouldnโ€™t properly set in for another month or so. He dreaded the thought.
Before Jayce knew it, he was approaching the library building. He didnโ€™t often go inside, preferring to find his study materials online, but he guessed a quick look around couldnโ€™t hurt. Hell, maybe heโ€™d find something that could help him study. Lord knows heโ€™d need it.
The door shut behind him as he pulled his headphones down, letting them settle around his neck. The library was surprisingly empty, save for a few students looking at the crowded bookshelves or studying at the tables scattered around. Jayce headed for the back of the library, where he remembered previously seeing a few science textbooks.
Unsurprisingly, he wasnโ€™t the only one back there. Tucked into the corner, shelving books, was who he assumed was the librarianโ€™s assistant โ€“ the manโ€™s back was to him, and all he could see was a head of dark brown hair pulled back into a messy bun, the backside of a dark green sweater that looked far too warm, even for this time of year, and the crutch he was leaned up against.
Oh. Oh.
Shit.
Jayce turned to face the other shelf, taking the first book he saw into his hands and hoping he looked to be engrossed in it. Just his luck. It wasnโ€™t that he didnโ€™t want to see Viktor. It was just that, wellโ€ฆ he didnโ€™t know how to handle himself in the slightest around the other man. Heโ€™d never had that problem before.
It was an internal battle every time he saw those beautifully familiar golden eyes. Half of him wanted to run and hide, while the other half insisted on spilling everything โ€“ how a suffocating wave of dรฉjร  vu would wash over him at just the sight of Viktor, or how daydreams about him felt strangely like faint, repressed memories.
He forced himself to ignore that second half of himself. No doubt he would look like a creep if he said any of that. At the very least, Viktor would probably think he was insane.
โ€œJayce?โ€
Clearing his throat, he turned to face Viktor, running a hand through his hair. He grinned lopsidedly, hoping that he didnโ€™t look as panicked as he felt. โ€œUh, hey, Viktor! I didnโ€™t see you over there.โ€
Viktorโ€™s gaze said it all โ€“ he clearly didnโ€™t believe Jayceโ€™s shitty lie, but luckily, he didnโ€™t mention anything about it. โ€œAre you looking for something in particular?โ€ He asked, nodding to the shelf of books Jayce was standing in front of. A lock of hair fell in front of his glasses, and he parted his lips to blow it out of his gaze.
โ€œUhm, wellโ€ฆ I have a feeling that the exam coming up in physics is gonna kick my ass. Do you know if there are any textbooks that might help me study?โ€
Viktor put down the stack of books in his arms and moved to stand next to Jayce, peering at the shelf with a concentrated little frown. He chuckled before speaking up once again. โ€œWell, if the notes youโ€™ve already got from class arenโ€™t enough, you might be fucked.โ€
Jayce was pretty sure that was the first time heโ€™d heard Viktor joke about something. He was also pretty sure that was the first time heโ€™d heard Viktor laugh outside of his daydreams. He found himself laughing too, scratching the back of his neck. โ€œYeahโ€ฆ you might be right.โ€
โ€œTry this,โ€ Viktor responded, handing Jayce a thick textbook. โ€œIf that doesnโ€™t help you, Iโ€™m not sure anything else will.โ€
Jayce nodded, chuckling quietly at the added jab. His fingers almost brushed against Viktorโ€™s as he took the book from him, and an unhelpful voice in the back of his head wished that they would have touched. โ€œThanks. I really hope it does help, โ€˜cause otherwise, Iโ€™m done for.โ€
โ€œIโ€™m sure youโ€™ll be just fine. Iโ€™ve seen your work; youโ€™re smart.โ€
Even the unimportant, nearly flippant compliment was enough to get Jayceโ€™s pulse to race. He tapped his fingers nervously against the spine of the textbook in his hands, unsure of how to respond. โ€œOh, uh, thanks. I mean, youโ€™re right, I probably will be fine, butโ€ฆโ€
Viktor nodded, a little smirk gracing his lips. Jayce couldnโ€™t decide if it was endearing or utterly infuriating. โ€œYou probably will be. Good luck nonetheless.โ€
โ€œGood luck to you, too.โ€ Jayce managed to say after stumbling over his words. He probably should have left right then, gone back to his dorm to mentally recover from what felt like the most difficult conversation of his life, but he couldnโ€™t seem to lift his feet from the floor. Before he could stop himself, he added, โ€œI like your sweater.โ€
Viktor glanced down at himself as if heโ€™d forgotten what he was wearing, then looked back up with a sheepish grin. โ€œThanks.โ€
It brings out his eyes, Jayceโ€™s brain uncooperatively piped up. Instead of saying that out loud, he just nodded. Viktor brushed his hair out of his eyes and turned around to resume organizing the books on the shelf, and Jayce realized he had forgotten that Viktor had a job to do. โ€œIโ€™ll see you in class tomorrow, yeah?โ€
Viktor, already consumed by his work, only gave a noncommittal hum in response. Jayce tried not to let that get to him as he spun on his heel, checking out the textbook as fast as humanly possible. He needed the hell out of that suffocatingly awkward situation.
When he made it back to his dorm, he tossed the textbook onto his comforter without much thought, promptly following it. He landed in the heap of blankets at the foot of his bed, letting out a muffled groan against them.
He had no clue how he was going to survive this. Sure, he wanted to get to know Viktor better, but if one simple conversation had him acting like this? He wasnโ€™t sure he could make it. Even without the daily daydreams plaguing him, he couldnโ€™t get that damned face out of his mind.
His goal of studying was long forgotten. At this rate, heโ€™d die of embarrassment before making it to the exam day.

This might sound kind of complicated, so I'm sorry in advance^^
But Valentine's Day comes around and Viktor is sick, so they have to call off their plans (maybe a nice dinner date or something) and Jayce takes care of him? I don't know, I just got that idea a while ago and think it would be really cute!

Viktor hated the wintertime. He made sure everyone around him knew it, too โ€“ he consistently complained about being cold (especially to Jayce, whoโ€™d always jump at the chance to warm him up), he was almost always sulking, and he made sure to voice his grievances whenever his body began to ache.
On top of that, Viktor had never really been a fan of Valentineโ€™s Day. Having been single for almost his entire life, it hadnโ€™t ever seemed important to him.
Jayce? Well, Jayce was another story.
He was a little over-the-top when it came to their relationship on an average day. Viktor often compared him to an overeager puppy โ€“ not that heโ€™d say so out loud, of course. Jayce tended to get a little huffy when he was teased.
Viktor had become used to Jayceโ€™s ways of expressing love. Physical touch was the most common, but Viktor also occasionally came home to find a bouquet of flowers, his favourite chocolates, or a book heโ€™d been eyeing for a while. It was often paired with a sweet note, especially if Jayce had known Viktor was having a rough day. Viktor would never admit how much he loved the little gestures of affection, though it didnโ€™t matter; Jayce knew.
Despite having dated for a little over ten months, this upcoming weekend would be their first Valentineโ€™s Day together. Unsurprisingly, Jayce was earnest to go all out. Heโ€™d insisted on planning a date out at a nice restaurant, and though Viktor assured him that they didnโ€™t have to do anything special, it was clear that his mind was made up.
The few days leading up to their planned dinner date, Viktor found himself faced with two conflicting feelings: on one hand, he was steadily growing more excited to go out and to give Jayce the gift heโ€™d picked out for him. On the other, heโ€™d been awfully tired lately. And sniffly. Not to mention sneezy.
Yeah, there was no denying that he was getting sick. But he did his best to take care of himself โ€“ something he had a bad habit of neglecting to do without annoyed reminders of Jayce โ€“ until he went to sleep on February 13th, hoping that he would wake up feeling well enough to push through one more day.
Waking up on Valentineโ€™s Day, Viktor was immediately struck with a shiver even though he had multiple blankets piled on top of him. He rolled over in his bed with a quiet groan, his throat sore and his joints aching. His knee, propped up on a pillow and bent at an awkward angle, protested any movements.
He reached out towards his nightstand, grabbing his phone and squinting against the bright light it emitted. His hair hung in his eyes, blocking most of his vision, but he couldnโ€™t find the strength to brush it away. His last text to Jayce had been a simple goodnight, and the thought of having to cancel their plans sent a wave of guilt through Viktor.
It took a few moments and rewriting his text a few times before he finally settled on:
Good morning. I think we might have to take a rain check on dinner.
Jayce responded within seconds, asking why and if Viktor was okay. Viktor answered by telling Jayce that he was sick, though this likely didnโ€™t surprise him โ€“ his immune system was anything but strong, and especially during the winter, he felt as though he was sick every other week.
Jayce didnโ€™t seem to be upset about the cancellation of plans, which relieved Viktor slightly. It wasnโ€™t long before Jayce offered to come over, and Viktor agreed. Maybe it was selfish; the last thing he wanted was to get Jayce sick. But at the same time, he couldnโ€™t deny that he wanted company from his boyfriend. It was Valentineโ€™s Day, after all.
Luckily for Viktor, Jayce was quick to get to his apartment. He knew where the spare key was, so he let himself in the front door and headed towards the bedroom. Viktorโ€™s heart melted at the sight of the flowers and stuffed teddy bear in his arms.
Jayce set the flowers down on the dresser and moved to sit on the edge of the bed, reaching out to run a hand through Viktorโ€™s hair. His gaze was sympathetic as he watched Viktor lay his head back down. He felt Jayceโ€™s hand press against his forehead, and he fought the urge to roll his eyes. He didnโ€™t need to be mother-henned, even if he did enjoy the attention.
โ€œYou look miserable,โ€ Jayce commented as he set the plush in front of Viktor. It was a bit childish, sure, but Viktor couldnโ€™t help but find the gift endearing. Heโ€™d never imagined himself collecting stuffed animals, but Jayce had a habit of gifting them to him, andโ€ฆ well, he couldnโ€™t help himself.
โ€œI feel miserable,โ€ Viktor grumbled in response, his eyes fluttering closed as Jayce pulled the blankets further over his body. โ€œDo I have a fever, doc?โ€
Jayce rolled his eyes and let out a wry chuckle at the mocking edge to Viktorโ€™s voice, lying down in the bed behind his boyfriend. โ€œI donโ€™t think so. I doubt that makes you feel any better, though, huh?โ€
โ€œMm, not at all. But I do appreciate the effort.โ€ Truthfully, just the warmth of Jayceโ€™s body against his was enough to lessen his shivering and make him feel better, if only slightly.ย
โ€œWell, Iโ€™m not going to move from this bed for the rest of the day. Good luck getting rid of me.โ€
Viktor laughed quietly, the sound a strange mix between a raspy chuckle and a cough. โ€œDuly noted, though I wasnโ€™t exactly planning on getting rid of you.โ€
โ€œI just thought you should know,โ€ Jayce said with a content sigh, pressing his face against the back of Viktorโ€™s neck. โ€œHell of a Valentineโ€™s Day weโ€™re going to have, yeah?โ€
โ€œIโ€™m sorry.โ€ Viktor responded, reaching his hand back to run his fingers through Jayceโ€™s hair. โ€œI didnโ€™t mean to ruin our plans.โ€
Jayce shook his head, pressing a kiss against Viktorโ€™s jawline. โ€œDonโ€™t apologize. This is just as good as a fancy dinner. Maybe even better.โ€
Viktor silently agreed. Though he wasnโ€™t exactly over the moon about the fact that he was sick, he certainly wasnโ€™t going to complain about getting to spend a day lazing around in bed with his boyfriend. He didnโ€™t often give himself the chance to just doโ€ฆ absolutely nothing, and if he was being entirely honest, this felt like heaven.
โ€œThank you for the gift,โ€ he finally said, breaking the comfortable silence that had settled between them, โ€œbut you didnโ€™t need to get me anything. Dinner was enough.โ€
โ€œI wanted to. Besides, I have a feeling youโ€™re being a hypocrite.โ€
Damn Jayce for being able to read him so well. Of course he was being a hypocrite โ€“ Viktor had noticed Jayce eyeing a book at the library a few times, so when he saw a copy on a trip down to the local bookstore, he bought it. He was planning on giving it to Jayce along with a box of his favourite chocolates (though that was, admittedly, partially because he knew that Jayce would share).
He let out a heavy sigh, pressing his face into his pillow. Jayce, used to how melodramatic his boyfriend could be at times, only laughed. โ€œIโ€™m assuming Iโ€™m right.โ€
โ€œYes, yes. As always.โ€ Viktor begrudgingly admitted, tilting his head to the side just enough to give Jayce a halfhearted glare. โ€œItโ€™s in the kitchen.โ€
โ€œI hope you know Iโ€™m not getting up, if thatโ€™s what youโ€™re implying.โ€
โ€œI was, but I suppose I can give it to you later. Itโ€™s that engineering book Iโ€™ve seen you looking at. And some chocolates.โ€
Jayce grinned quietly, trailing a few kisses along Viktorโ€™s jaw and up to his cheek. โ€œSo you do pay attention. I knew you loved me.โ€
If Viktor werenโ€™t feeling so shitty, he would have made a show of squirming away from the relentless attention. Instead he leaned into it, closing his eyes and letting out a slow breath. โ€œHave I ever given the impression that I didnโ€™t?โ€ He groused.
โ€œNo. But you like to pretend that you donโ€™t.โ€
โ€œThatโ€™s only because youโ€™re a nuisance.โ€ Viktor countered. Even as he insulted Jayce, he sank further into his embrace, feeling properly warm for the first time in hours. That was the benefit of having a boyfriend who doubled as a portable heater, he supposed.
โ€œYou donโ€™t really think that,โ€ Jayce murmured, frowning and giving Viktor his best puppy-dog eyes. Viktor might have believed the act if not for the hint of a smile at the corners of his lips and the mischievous spark in his eyes. โ€œYou love me.โ€
โ€œYouโ€™re lucky I do.โ€
โ€œAw, well, I love you too, V.โ€ย
The words were paired with a kiss on the cheek, which elicited a tranquil hum from Viktor. He let himself curl up against his boyfriend, ignoring the protest of his aching leg. He wasnโ€™t going to let his aching joints or sore throat ruin his Valentineโ€™s Day, not while he was wrapped up in the arms of his favourite person.

thinking about taking a few requests over the weekend (i have two extra days off), specifically valentineโ€™s themed ones โ€” but iโ€™ll also take others! would anybody be interested in sending in requests? if thereโ€™s a specific scenario you want to see written, iโ€™d be happy to write and post it! <3
iโ€™m mostly used to writing for jayce and viktor, but i wouldnโ€™t mind trying to write other pairings from arcane. iโ€™m also in fandoms like good omens, dr who, and takinโ€™ over the asylum, so if any of those are up your alley, donโ€™t be afraid to send in requests for them too!
(also i take requests anytime, just so you guys know! this is specifically because i want to write something valentineโ€™s day themed lol)
