hey guys, long time no talk!!
I am back and trying to lose weight. I am currently using Arbonne and doing CrossFit. It’s super late and I work in the morning, so I will post more talking about my progress and how it’s been going so far tomorrow.
I am stoked about being back and blogging about weight loss!
Can’t wait to engage with you guys some more!

lemon blueberry muffins 1 cup all-purpose flour ½ cup whole wheat flour 1 tsp. baking powder ½ tsp. salt ½ cup plain greek yogurt ½ cup coconut palm sugar ½ scoop of vanilla protein powder ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce ¼ cup ground flaxseed meal 1 tbsp. honey or maple syrup 1 tsp. vanilla extract 2 large eggs juice and zest of 1 medium lemon 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries 1.) preheat oven to 350 and prepare a muffin pan by lining it with paper wrappers. 2.) in a medium-sized bowl, combine flour, baking powder, protein powder, ground flaxseed meal and salt. 3.) in a separate bowl, combine greek yogurt and sugar, mixing until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes smooth. add applesauce, honey (or maple syrup), vanilla extract, lemon juice and lemon zest and stir. add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. 4.) gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture, mixing until well incorporated. then fold in the blueberries. 5.) divide batter evenly among the 12 muffin cups 6.) bake for 20-22 minutes, or until tops are firm to the touch and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. ≈ 140 calories/6g protein per muffin! enjoy!!

Telling someone “just eat right and workout” simply does NOT help people, and it needs to 🛑STOP🛑. They may have no idea what “eat right” or “workout” means, nor what to do or where to start.
When you say that, it is like giving a kid a tire iron, a new tire and telling them to change the tire on a Truck as you stand there and watch. It’s not constructive! It’s not positive. It’s sickening and reflects on your moral character. Something that is so easy and natural for you can be incredibly difficult for others.
And, that does NOT make them INVALID as a member of this online community.
Please, self reflect, and show some empathy to the new poeple that are scared out of thier minds right now and full of anxiety because no one, NO ONE is bothering to lend a helping hand. Thank you.

Update! 12/10/17
good afternoon, friends!! I've been so dang busy with last minute projects, tests, and essays that I haven't been able to post much. Just wanted to say that I've lost a whole 8 lbs since thanksgiving! I've been working hard to beat my boyfriend and his dad, let's see if it all works out!

Decided to add strawberries into my oats today. So today I have oats, banana, strawberries, almond butter, chia seeds and ground flax seed!
I also have a question for some of you that eat oats/oatmeal…. do you use water or a milk of some sort? I use water!

I’m baaaack!
I’ve been working on dieting this week, and I would say it’s going great! I have some cravings sometimes, but I try to curve them with something healthier. Today, I decided I would finally workout! I feel so good and so ready to work on myself again!
Also, I made some toast with peanut butter, banana, chia seeds, ground flax seed, and a little honey! So good!

Dinner tonight!! Whole grain pasta with tofu sausage and organic tomato and basil sauce 🤗
It was a lot better than I thought it would be, especially because it’s not real meat.
We have a bet going on with my boyfriends dad to see who can lose the most percentage of weight before Christmas break, and we are determined to beat him!! We are *kinda* going vegetarian for this period, but we are eating fish. We are just tired of eating chicken so we decided to try vegetarian substitute!
