Why Did Aaron Carter Need To Speak With Kanye West Two Days Before He Died?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Clockwise: Aaron Carter, Kanye West, Sean "P. Diddy" Combs.
Considering that rapper, producer Kanye West appeared in court last week in support of his long time friend, Sean Combs, I'm sitting here perplexed at how him and Aaron Carter became so..close?
Tumblr media
Well, close is kind of splitting hairs.
If anything, they knew of each other. Well, at least Aaron was pretty familiar with Kanye.
During a "No Jumper" podcast, Carter discussed his displeasure with West's racist comments and "White Lives Matter" tee shirt:
Tumblr media
With Carter calling West a "broke boy" and stupid as fuck, one would assume that there'd end up being a lot of animosity between them, at least, coming from West and his possibly bruised ego.
There's not a whole lot of information to go on about this connection, but something about this connection does make my brain itch.
Tumblr media
Tweeted just two days before his untimely death at his home in Los Angeles, Carter tweeted to Kanye that they needed to talk, "man to man."
I'm not sure about you, but whenever I've heard this term used in my 35 years of life, it's always preceded something dramatic and/or unpleasant
Considering Carter's (possible) links to Diddy, as well as West's now support for the defamed producer, it seems very reasonable to question Kanye West.
Not as a suspect (necessarily), but about what happened between the 3rd and 5th of November, in 2022.
What conversations took place between he and Carter? What was brought up? And did any of West's actions result in the death of Aaron?
Well, we'd question Kanye, but apparent he and the Mrs. are off in Spain, so...
Rest In Peace Aaron Carter. Thanks for making childhood fun.

Shocking | Hilarious Moments In Hip Hop Culture.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When things are rolling and live, it's quite difficult to edit out undesirable moments on a whim.
Celebrities are not above having embarrassing moments, and while we'll keep this one lite, here are several moments in Hip Hop Culture that tickled | shocked many.
1. Lil Mama and Jay-Z Performing On Stage Together.
No, it wasn't planned, and yes Alicia Keys was there, but technically they DID perform together.
It just wasn't planned.
youtube
2. The Game Falling At A Wedding
Okay, yes I know that it is a bit immature, but seeing him go down (hope he didn't hurt himself) was something I would have chuckled at a little if I were there. Just a little chuckle.
youtube
3. DMX (Rest In Peace) Calling Out The Industry
What's funny is not necessarily seeing DMX in distress. DMX was and is a much loved and protected figure.
The shocking part (and a bit humorous), is witnessing DMX directly speak of the wild going ons in the industry, as well as a moment with an unnamed rapper in which DMX allegedly saved their life.
A lot happened.
youtube
4. Birdman On The Breakfast Club
Birdman of Cash Money Records decided to make a stop to The Breakfast Club radio show.
He specifically wanted to speak with Charlemagne regarding his off color comments.
Plenty of people do not find Charlemagne to be a pleasant person on the air so this was a little satisfying to watch.

Open Letter: Joey Badass | Are You Alright?
Tumblr media
Rapper Joey Badass
Hey man. How's it been? From one West Indian to another, I'm here to check up on you.
Your fans, it seems, have been a bit worried. Not just about your ever changing personas and career directions, but about you J'.
It's been well over a decade since your debut mixtape, 1999.
Since then, you've grown quite impressively and ferocious.
Landing an Oscar, and roles such as Unique on 50 Cent's Raising Kanan series.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lately, your directions seem to have some of your most loyal fans concerned.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
One of the "loudest" whispers circulating around the social media-sphere is that you've fallen off, particularly with your recent single, Pardon Me.
Many of your fans were NOT feeling the Diddy | Chris Brown collab.
From what I gather, something is missing. I've seen comments where some say they're missing that old "boombap" sound.
I understand, man.
Life over the past few years has been a bit shaky, especially within the entertainment industry. So much uncertainty, so many fair-weather fans.
I imagine losing someone close to you can also place such a weight on ones shoulders that it can become a force working against creativity.
I understand loss.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maybe when it comes to this industry, you've seen too much. Maybe you need a break, or to talk to someone before you go making anymore music on a public level.
Be it far from me to tell anyone how to live their lives, because only the Lord can, but as a suggestion, as someone who's just looking in from the outside at the labyrinth that is your life, take a break.

Did Beyonce Knowles Harm Publicist Cathy White?
Tumblr media
L: Rapper Jay Z | R: Beyonce Knowles-Carter
It's a tale so sordid, only A.I. could have written this.
Disclaimer: No one is accusing Beyonce Knowles-Carter of harming or killing anyone. We are simply asking if this happened. In involves individuals in addition to Beyonce, and can be a bit murky.
Taking references from second, third hand accounts, we will dig into what's been actually put out on the table regarding this situation.
1. TUFFNEWSTV via Youtube
About a month ago, Youtuber TuffNewsTv released a video in which he states that he received an email from a celebrity publicist who he deems credible.
The following is a summary of what was said in the video, but below, I will include the embedded video for you to make up your own mind.
According the the celebrity publicist who emailed Tuff:
"Cathy White and Kim [Porter] were in regular conversations during the last year of [Cathy's] life. Cathy had been worried, because she had been receiving threats against her life, and shared this with Kim Porter.
Threats, such as 'So you are the trifling filthy ass bitch who has been fucking my husband? We will see how long you last.'
In fact, Diddy, the long time partner of Kim Porter, supposedly found out that Cathy had been chatting with him. Cathy was afraid when Diddy asked to meet her face to face.
Kim Porter asked Cathy White if she had been recording these interactions. Cathy said yes, and Kim agreed to fly out to NY. Diddy apparently found out about this meet by his long time friend, and recording artist, Mary J. Blige.
How Mary knew of this meeting is beyond me.
Although Diddy was trying everything to prevent Kim from going to NYC to meet with Cathy, she did. It was during this trip that Kim retrieved evidence, which included the recordings, from Cathy. One text allegedly stated that if Cathy did not terminate her pregnancy suspected from Jay-Z, that she would have it done by a wire hanger.
While in NYC, Diddy contacted Kim and told her to stay there. The publicist does state what happened between Kim and Diddy in NYC, but some months later, Cathy White would be dead.
youtube
2. Jaguar Wright | Liz Crokin
While some will say that Jaguar Wright is not the MOST credible source one earth, we can not deny that she was involved in the entertainment industry, and definitely has ties (with video proof) to Jay-Z. There is NO WAY to tell if Ms. Wright is stating things based off of first hand knowledge, or speculation, but in an interview done with Real Lyfe Street Stars, Ms. Wright claims that Cathy's killer was not a male.
youtube
Liz Crokin, a journalist who had been working as a senior editor for Star magazine in 2011, claims that Cathy was more than willing to talk to her about allegedly being pregnant with Jay-Z's child. Shortly after this call, Liz found out that Cathy was found deceased in her NYC apartment. Click here for Liz's full tale on the encounter.
Tumblr media
3. Daughter | Beyonce Knowles-Carter
Last, but certainly not least, we have Beyonce's own words.
In all honesty, I am not saying that this is a confession. It takes about two seconds to scroll to the comments on this video to see that the general public does not just consider this artistic piece to be fictionally derivative.
Here I include the video to Daughter, by Beyonce.
I purposely included the lyrical video, so that you can see., not just hear, for yourself what is said.
youtube
Either way, may God be with everyone during these dark times. Amen.

Kendrick Lamar Is Only Famous Because Of Drake.
Tumblr media
I admit it: I'm not a Drake stan. I don't even know if I could be called a fan. I do like two of his hits though, "Say Something" and "In My Feelings". Oh and "In the Morning" with J. Cole.
Hmm, maybe I am a Drake fan?
I say this, because I don't want it to seem as though I am glazing Drake just to get at Lamar. No, we're spitting facts today.
And after Kendrick Lamar fans calling my mom a fat btch, I think his cornball, Yu-Gi-Oh playing ass is fair game.
I genuinely believe that the ONLY reason Kendrick has been able to reach this level of success (Superbowl with Beyonce, "climbing singles", even those these can be manipulated) is because he played the game well.
Tumblr media
It's no surprise that Drake had been involved in legal battles with Universal Music's Lucian Grainge, regarding the song "Not Like Us."
It's truly telling, that while Kendrick had been rapping for some time, it wasn't until he took digs at Drake (still not sure why. Race? Isn't his wife biracial? Anyway...) that he garnered heavier attention and success (Which is a GOOD thing. No hate. But...)
Whether we like it or not, Drake had been dominating the charts over the past 10-15 years, and Kendricks high pitched, shaky, insecure rapping styles couldn't hold a candle to Drake's smooth melody.
Tumblr media
L: Beyonce, R: Kendrick Lamar
Seeing Lamar headline the Superbowl was truly shocking. Not because of any spectacular impression I had of the show.
No.
It was shocking because why would Kendrick Lamar get this opportunity, when there are dozens of other rappers (quite a few from the South) who could have easily built a better show for everyone.
No, it's because Kendrick is part of a bigger agenda.
He is a puppet. He had little say (I imagine) over creative decisions regarding that Superbowl performance.
There is no way that Kendrick Lamar deserved to be on that stage.
Not only that, but his performance killed the mood for hundreds of people in that stadium. Dividing people on what should have been a day of coming together for a good game.
Kendrick Lamar has been bought.
And sold.
And it's only a matter of time until he's the next sacrifice for this industry.
I'll leave you with some of Drakes TOP HITS. Enjoy!

Below The Heavens: A Young Man's Story Of Survival Through God
Tumblr media
Below The Heavens (2007)
I remember the very day I first discovered Blu & Exile's Below The Heavens.
It's not often that I can say this about an album, or honestly, even a song. With this album, the impression it made upon me was unforgettable.
It was 2008. Mid July.
I had been home, sitting in my room chatting with this guy on AOL instant messenger (shut up) about music. I had mentioned to him, my love for hip hop.
He sent me a link. It was to a Youtube video, and I earnestly clicked. Since that moment, my ears have been blessed.
Below The Heavens is the collaborative project by California rapper Blu (born Johnson Barnes III) and producer Exile, known for his previous albums which included Dirty Science, and his work with group Emanon.
The album itself would be described as soulful.
Not just because of the wonderfully throwback-ish beats that Exile used for this project, but because the album awakens something in your soul.
Over the years, my perspective on this album has changed. What seemed like the angry outlets of a young black man from the hood actually turns out to be the story of a man who survived by having faith in God-even in the ugly times.
In Dancing In The Rain, a track on the album, Blu discusses not being willing to sell drugs, even while under the pressure of others. He talks of the stresses of being without a job, sometimes, and also struggling as an emcee in this harsh world.
The album itself isn't all doom and gloom. One thing I love about Blu's rapping style here, is his ability to do both serious and playful songs, even regarding love.
In Blu Colla Workers, Blu discusses how dating can be challenging while being an underground rapper. It's charming, cute, and relatable.
For me, as a young woman coming up, it was nice to hear examples of working class men trying the best they could in the age of bling, bling.
Like the perfect topping upon a cake, the perfect ending tracks of the album, The World Is (Below the Heavens..) and You Are Now in the Clouds With (The Koochie Monstas) take us right to church.
I (embarrassingly) admit that I can rap The World Is non-stop without any mistakes. But, it's less of an admission, and more of a testimony as to how powerful this album is.
In The World Is (Below The Heavens) Blu reminds us about God, his glory, remembering the challenges of life, but not falling into the pits of them.
It's SUCH an inspiring track, that it's permanently logged into my brain.
I highly recommend you listen to this album. It's personally gotten me through some of the darkest times of my life, and helped me celebrate some of the greatest.
God, Blu and Exile, thank you for this beautiful and much needed gift to humanity.

Hip-Hop Royalty: Capital Steez
Tumblr media
"Dear diary, what a day it's been." - from Free The Robots
Prior to 2023, if you had asked me who Capital Steez was, I honestly would've drawn a blank.
This isn't a note on the ferocious talent of this young man, but more so an admission of how much of an old ass, I actually am.
But sure enough, in 2023, I became familiar with the music of Steez, and needless to say, I haven't stopped listening, since.
STEEZ was born Courtney Everald Dewar Jr. on July 7th, 1993 in Brooklyn, New York (city). He attended the well known Edward R. Murrow High School.
According to his wiki, STEEZ was a happy kid. Always with a smile on his face, he would don a short afro and skinny jeans.
During the late 2000's, STEEZ co-founded the PRO ERA rap collective with childhood friend and fellow rapper Joey Badass.
Have you ever heard of the Beast Coast Movement? Well, it was (and is) a thing.
Tumblr media
Beast Coast Movement
Apparently it was a term that STEEZ used to describe the musical conglomerate that was PRO ERA, Flatbush Zombies, and The Underachievers.
Unfortunately, on December 23rd, 2012, Courtney ended his life.
But, I don't want this entire to piece to be about his passing. I would like to discuss his talent and legacy left on hip hop.
Tumblr media
Lol! Apparently, he had a sense of humor, too.
His Music
Tumblr media
I always know when a song, particularly a rap song is good, because I'll be listening to it, and say, "This is what I'm talking about!"
It's like when you've been looking for a particular brand of butter for months. Yeah, the others are good and get the job done, but THIS kind of butter makes food fun and nutritious.
That's the feeling I got when I first listened to Apex.
First what I love about this video is how fun it is. I appreciate the jovial, fun energy that's only complimented by half serious, half jokey lyrics.
Maybe I'm biased, because this is one of my favorite types of rap styles.
Also, do you hear that beat?
youtube
Another one I really enjoy listening to is Free The Robots.
Okay, first of all. THIS VIDEO.
This video definitely is giving me liminal space vibes. Anyone else? No?
I really appreciate how there's different clips, and videos from different sources. Feels like STEEZ was trying to convey a message with all the clips arranged like so.
Now, with the music: I feel hypnotized. Just listening to this makes me feel dreamy, but also really really dreary. You ever seen Requiem For A Dream? | Yeah, that kind of dreamy/dreary.
Which is coincidental, because throughout the song, STEEZ mentions how destructive drugs have been to him personally and the world at large.
youtube
Free The Robots
STEEZ also touches on politics, very heavily here, such as 9/11 and certain ways he'd like past presidents to be dealt with. :)
AmeriKKKan Korruption | King Capital
Tumblr media
STEEZ posing with left hand over left eye, while draped in a large American flag.
So, there is an album.
Or rather, a mixtape.
Capital STEEZ had released a solo mixtape titled AmeriKKKan Korruption, on April 7th, 2012.
The mixtape contained a total of 14 tracks, although a number of other rappers, producers and PRO ERA members have graciously contributed to its track count.
After his passing, in 2013 there had been an announcement by friend and fellow rapper Joey Badass that a posthumous album, titled King Capital would be released. While a song did come of it (King Steelo), the album King Capital would never actually be released.
On January 2nd, 2018, Joey Badass stated to fans that due to legalities, the album's release would be delayed to later that year.
As of 2024, the project King Capital is still unreleased.
His Legacy
I'm not sure what things would have looked like for STEEZ had he survived throughout the years.
What I will say, is that a talent and voice like he had is desperately needed now. In fact, maybe STEEZ's energy is still alive and well in some other rapper who just may have the talent, but hasn't been tweeted about by XXL.
Maybe we need to begin searching out talented artists, and boosting them up ourselves.
Also, it goes without mentioning, that it was said that STEEZ had been dealing with some emotional battles. I want to say that if you find yourself dealing with emotional, mental issues, getting help doesn't make you weak.
But taking your life doesn't make you weak either. It just means the help you needed didn't arrive on time.
God bless everyone, and long live STEEZ.

What If Tory Lanez Didn't Do It?
Tumblr media
Tory Lanez
From the very beginning of the Megan Thee Stallion vs. Tory Lanez incident, I've always been covertly team Tory. Not to dick ride (No Diddy! Wait...).
I never had definitive proof of his innocence, but from the beginning something felt seriously off with this entire situation.
There was a fight.
The Hollywood Hills in the middle of summer would seem like an ideal place to party. Safe, quiet, private, money, all that good stuff.
But, on July 12th, 2020, things got a little reckless.
What is reported to have happened, is that a fight broke out after a party at Kylie Jenner's home. In attendance were rapper Megan Thee Stallion, her friend Kelsey Harris, and rapper Tory Lanez.
A lot was going on that night, but it ended with Megan getting shot.
Lanez was arrested in Hollywood Hills and charged with carrying a concealed weapon in his vehicle.
Here's the thing though: initially, Megan stated that she had been injured by glass, but then publicly told her Instagram followers that she had been shot, but not by whom.
It wasn't until August of 2022 (we haven't left July) that she publicly, on Instagram live, implicated Lanez in shooting her.
"You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lyin' and shit. Stop lyin'. Why lie?" - Megan Thee Stallion
Lanez pleaded his innocence, although not always directly. He also had a bevy of family, friends and fans by his side to fight for his innocence and good name.
Unfortunately, all of this would be in vain, as on December 23rd, 2022, Tory Lanez was found guilty on three felony charges. In August of 2023, Lanez would be sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan.
Now, all of this seems straightforward, right?
Well...
I came across something.
Something that could have been EASILY passed off as gossip, but this is a story that we've heard one too many times, that one has to wonder: is this really what happened?
youtube
Tumblr media
I'm not going to address Megan's drinking, because as we all know, that's a thing. But, what I will say, if there is ANY credence to this story, or any possible way that Tory didn't shoot Megan, why is this man in jail?
Why were the stories not set from the start? Why did Meghan not say, "Tory shot me!" from day one?
Did Kelsey shoot Megan? Out of anger? Maybe Tory was (we're speculating) flirting. That's not a crime.
Maybe feelings got involved. Everyone's a little drunk.
Maybe they already needed a reason to get rid of homeboy, and this was perfect timing.
Either way, something feels EXTREMELY off. I am not a lawyer, nor am I accusing. I'm just here to ask questions.

Hip-Hop Beefs: What Are We Doing?
Tumblr media
J. Cole; Kendrick Lamar
At the expense of exposing my former petty self (still a little petty), I admit that one of my all time FAVORITE rap/hip-hop beefs was the Cardi B - Nicki Minaj fiasco during the pandemic years.
There was something exciting about it. At the time, I was a Bardigang (now at 34, I just wanna hear some good music). I admit that it was fun seeing the memes and jokes aimed at the Barbz. In some strange way, during those isolating days of being locked in, it almost felt like a bonding experience (TOXIC).
As cruel as it was, it felt like a sport.
We were winning. No, wait, they're winning.
UGH!
We never took into account how the stress affected Nicki, as I'm sure the Barbz weren't worried about Cardi B's mental state at the time.
Everyone just wanted blood. The fans, egging it on, helped to create a never ending snowball of chaos, insults and knee-jerk reactions.
Now, it's 2024, and while Cardi B and Nicki have seemed to calm down a bit regarding their issues, we have a new snowball in town.
Rappers Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole have been making buzz recently. Their ongoing beef, which somehow includes rapper Drake, has gotten to a point where it's become too much.
At least that seems so for rapper J. Cole.
Many fans and media outlets are retracting their support for Cole after his public *alleged* apology to Kendrick Lamar.
I myself have even had to apologize for fuming the flames of this beef.
Many have argued that this is simply hip hop culture, and that we should simply accept that beefs are fun, entertaining and make this genre hot.
And you know something? You're absolutely right. I actually agree with and understand this.
But, here's what I don't understand:
Why, exactly are we angry with Cole? Is it because his apology makes him seem weak? What if he truly felt awful about his actions? Should he have sucked it up (No Diddy!), been a man and eat that toxic behavior?
If to him, doing a song like that (7 Minute Drill) made him feel out of character (in a bad way), I say good on him for backing out, and not putting on a mask that doesn't fit, just to entertain the masses.
Beefs can be fun, believe me, I know. But, if you're willing to retract your support from an artist because they won't beef, did you like them, and the music?
Or, were you just there for the drama?

Jennifer Lopez: What Happened Here?
Tumblr media
Jennifer Lopez; Marry Me (2022)
I remember my first Jennifer Lopez C.D. I was about 9, or 10 and received On The 6 as a gift.
I don't actually remember if I had been a fan of Lopez at the time (I was hip to Britney, though, I remember that!), as soon as I heard the opening to "If You Had My Love", I was hooked.
On my adorable, hot pink boombox, was when I first really remember hearing Jennifer Lopez sing. Although a little mature, the song nonetheless had lyrics that actually weren't too bad for a young girl of the 90's to hear - love, trust, comfort me. Don't lie to me.
I was absolutely mesmerized with Jennifer Lopez. She was pretty, fun, seemed kind (I was a kid), and as I began to watch her films, I fell in love with her portrayals, especially in Selena, and Enough.
I don't care what y'all say, them movies were GOOD.
Tumblr media
Aww, so cute.
J.Lo was born Jennifer Lynn Lopez on July 24th, 1969 in New York City. She is known though, for being raised in The Bronx section of the city.
Most of the old heads (myself included) might remember Jennifer from before her musical career; her time on the sketch comedy show In Living Color, and in films like Money Train (1995), Selena (1997), and Anaconda (1997).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is where Jennifer soared. Her acting. By the time she'd dived into music, she had already had a very loyal fan-base.
I don't exactly know what happened, but sometime around the late 1990's, she decided to dive into music, met Sean "P.Diddy" Combs, and as we know, the rest, it's now history (I hope).
But now, it's 2024, and Jennifer is no longer liked.
Her fans? They're few.
Concerts? Not selling.
As a (why cap?) lifelong fan, I have to admit, that there have been reports, that Mrs. Affleck doesn't actually sing as much as we think she does, on her albums.
These claims, along with people who have stated that meeting her was quite unpleasant, paint a picture as to why Mrs. Affleck, today, is not only losing popularity, but building an anti-brand.
A part of me wonders if Jennifer's recent film, This Is Me...Now, has a bit something to do with the growing disdain.
From looking at people's reactions to her self-funded film, a love story so to speak, it occurred to me: Jennifer isn't being authentic.
Jennifer is showing people a very shallow, pretty, gussied up version of her true emotions.
When she sits in her bedroom, brokenhearted, is this truly how she feels? I think people are upset, because when watching these kinds of statements from Jennifer, like her constantly professing about being from The Block, people get exhausted.
They feel like Jennifer is faking the funk, not showing her true, raw, maybe even ugly, scary side. One thing we can say about singer/actress Beyonce, is that she is NOT afraid to show us her scary side.
But Jennifer has never gone there (with us). She's never truly shown us a stripped down, raw version of herself.
That's what crossed my mind this morning as I sipped by 1$ bodega coffee.
But...then another thought came in.
What if this is it with Jennifer?
What if this is all there is to her? And us, the demanding, hungry public, is asking a bit more than she can actually give.
Jennifer Lopez - Affleck: Is that all there is?

Why Did Hype Williams Take The Plane That Lenny Kravitz Sent For Aaliyah?
Tumblr media
Aaliyah and Hype WIliams
In August of 2001, singer and actress Aaliyah had been filming a music video. Although some parts of the music video was being filmed in Miami, Florida, things ultimately ended in the Bahamas.
During this time, Aaliyah was undoubtedly in the prime of her life. By this point, Aaliyah had had several albums, and a few film credits under her belt.
She was also in a really promising relationship with Dame Dash of (then) Roc A Fella Records (now Roc Nation).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jay-Z and Aaliyah
It's no secret that Dame's friend and business partner, rapper and business mogul Jay-Z also had feelings for Aaliyah.
I won't pretend to know exactly how Aaliyah felt about Jay-Z, but by many people's accounts, Aaliyah was happy being with Dame Dash.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Which might explain why she was allegedly in such a rush to leave the Bahamas.
According to singer Jaguar Wright, Aaliyah's death on August 25th, 2001 in the Bahamas was no accident. In a video, the singer claims that Jay-Z would've had a few reasons for Aaliyah no longer being here:
His jealousy of her being with Dame Dash, and happy.
Jay-Z's friendship with now incarcerated singer R. Kelly (let's not).
Jay-Z wanting to make room for his now wife, Beyonce.
These are Jaguar Wright's claims.
Apparently, the plane that Aaliyah was scheduled to be on seemed SUPER unsafe but Aaliyah had received a message that Dame was in trouble (allegedly) causing her to board.
Others have stated that Aaliyah was actually drugged, and unconscious by the time she was actually on the ill fated flight.
But, there was a refuge.
Singer Lenny Kravitz, who had ties to the Bahamas, offered Aaliyah a much safer, stable plane to fly home on. There was only one problem:
Director Hype Williams took the plane for himself.
Tumblr media
This left Aaliyah with the only option of getting home, to be that ill fated flight.
So, I ask again:
Why Did Hype Williams Take The Plane That Lenny Kravitz Sent For Aaliyah?

"Love Me Like I Love You" by Troy Ave is NOT A Love Song.
Tumblr media
Betrayal, at its finest.
On March 29th, Brooklyn rapper Troy Ave. released a series of new songs, and music videos. Amongst them, is "Love Me Like I Love You".
While the title might suggest that we're about to embark on a story of romance, and woes, what we see is far different, and pleasantly surprising.
The music video itself watches like a cinematic film.
We're introduced to two young men. We'll call them "Blue" and "Black" based on what they were wearing.
They appear to be friends, as Blue asks Black for a ride. Black has things to do, but he agrees to give Blue a ride anyway.
I won't spoil it, but I will say, that I was PLEASANTLY pleased with not just the visual creativity Troy put together, but how eloquently the lyrics fit the script.
In fact, if you close your eyes, you'd mistake it for a love song.
And that's good, because it shows the depth of friendship, and how deep betrayal can hit.
But, watch 'til the end! There's always a plot twist!
Nice work, Troy Ave.
Stay strong, and independent.

I ALMOST Felt Sorry For Diddy.
Tumblr media
Just a little baby.
Sometimes when I watch Sean Combs in the media, I feel like parts of him, the vulnerable parts, become super apparent.
I'm no psychologist, but I'll be blunt: when I see Sean Combs, I see a lonely, sad man who needed a father figure, or positive male role models.
Sean John Combs was born on November 4th, 1969 in Harlem, New York City. His father, Melvin Earl Combs served in the Air Force, although, that wouldn't be what he'd ultimately be remembered for.

Melvin Combs, father of P. Diddy/Puff Daddy/Brother LOVE
It's (now) widely known that Melvin Combs was an associate of Frank Lucas, one of the biggest drug dealers in New York during the 1970's.
At the age of 33, Melvin Combs was unfortunately taken from this earth. At the time, little Sean John was only 2 years of age.
Imagine, if you will, being a little boy growing up without a father.
I imagine that during the course of his life, Sean may have spent time looking for someone: a replacement for his father perhaps?

I'm not here to make assumptions on this man's entire mental and emotional state. I'm simply mapping out why I had a tinge of sympathy for the man.
But...then I remembered.
youtube
I'm sure this was...humbling, to say the least.
I remembered a lot of things.
One being, that at some point, little Sean became a man. A man who decided to treat people the way he (probably) had been treated in the industry by people with much more power than him, at the time.
Sean decided to become a bully.
And a possible human trafficker.
Oh yeah, and someone who...hits women and breaks their noses?
Sean, I'm sorry that your life was full of challenges, mistreatment and struggle. At some point, you became the thing that harmed you.
While I do pray for you, I don't know if people will ever look at you the same way.
Maybe that's not such a bad thing.

How Far Does This P.Diddy Thing Go?
Tumblr media
"I am 14 here"
So, as we all know, rapper/mogul Sean "P.Diddy" Combs' homes were raided this week by federal agents, with suspicion of human trafficking going on in his properties.
While everyone is caught up in the wow-ism of this situation, I, as well as several others, am wondering: how far does this go?
Pictured above is Diddy, with a young woman (girl) and an unnamed man.
The woman in the photo is Rachel Chandler (as we know her). She states in this post that she was 14 in this photo. If you're not familiar with who Rachel Chandler is, might I suggest you click here, to get an idea as to who we're working with.
Hint: she's deeply Epstein related.
So, if a young girl who's deeply connected to an island that has been KNOWN for hosting extremely insane, illegal, exploitative events - is pictured with Diddy...
I ask again: How far does this P.Diddy thing go?

Open Letter To Erykah Badu:
Sometimes, No Matter What You Say, They Will Always Be Upset.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hmmm.
Hello Ms. Badu.
So, it's come to my attention that you've done something.
Something bad.
Something so awful that we may need a public apology along with a handwritten sympathy letter to the Governor of Texas.
You've crossed Beyonce Knowles - Carter.
As we all know, the Beyhive (Beehive? I don't know) is strictly loyal about their Queen. They worship this woman. She is their God, and no one dare have opinions on her unless they're pleasantries.
Honestly, you could have said nothing and posted the photo and it would've still been an issue.
Tumblr media
Heartbreaking, and disrespectful. Ms. Badu, how dare you? /s :-)
I am not saying that Beyonce is a bad person. In fact, it's her fan base that's doing this, not her, right?
Anyway, Ms. Badu, my. message to you, is to keep doing you, keep trolling (in Pisces fashion). Not that you needed me to tell you this, but I've actually been a fan of your albums, both Baduizm and Mama's Gun, so, naturally, I'm gonna send my warmest to you.
Either way, let's call this beef what it actually was: the hive got triggered. Whoops!
Sincerely,
Emily Mullz, the problematic Pisces.
