Pocket Full Of Sunshine

Life can bloom in crazy places when given the tools to succeed, and maybe that's all we need to know, even when optimism seems a tad unrealistic. 

It may be cliche, but I think sunflowers are a beautiful symbol of life and choosing which direction you want to face and who you should turn to: those who bring you closer to the sun, giving you life and happiness, even if it's for a moment, even if it's pocket-sized.

Solar Eclipse April 8th, 2024

Sadly, where I was, the total eclipse was covered completely by a large cloud, but I was able to get this picture with my camera after totality and after the cloud that covered the sun and moon up moved our of the way. Overall, though, it was really fun and cool to see, and I'm glad I got to go out on a roadtrip with some friends to see most of it.
