name one native american intellectual off the top of your head, name one native american actor or actress off the top of your head, name one native american senator, one native american news anchor, or an author or a tv personality or a singer or a poet or a comedian, name a single native american teacher you’ve had, can you? probably not
ok so now think of one native american cartoon character you know of or a sports team relating to native americans whether it’s their actual name or their team logo, or a town you live in or near with a “native” name bet a lot of these things came to you right away i bet you didn’t even have to think
needing native representation in media, education and government are not decoy issues, the commercialization and appropriation of native cultures are not decoy issues, the lack of native representation is institutional oppression at work

If you are outside India, I am practically begging you to reblog this
Last week India passed a blatantly anti-Muslim law that seeks to naturalise millions of immigrants, except if they are Muslims.
In August of this year, India revoked the autonomous status of the Kashmir region, putting a communication blackout on the state. Kashmir has entered the fifth month of no internet and heaviest militarisation of any region in the world.
India is a secular, socialist republic. This bill is anti-constitutional and against the principles on which the country was founded
Naturally, there have been protests across the country. At the forefront of the protests are students from India's public universities.
Police opened fire on peaceful protestors in Jamia Milia Islamia University in Delhi, and Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh.
Ever since then, the ruling fascist Hindu nationalist political party, the BJP, has been doctoring videos and sending fake news all over the internet, discrediting protestors and labelling them as terrorists
India has already seen too much religious violence, please please signal boost this, call your representatives, make them aware, get them to make statements. The only thing India and itd dictator Modi care about is its image abroad

See, that's where Merlin gets fed up and trudges into the lake. He grumbles and curses to himself as his ancient body is submerged in the water. And slowly, ever so slowly, he reemerges. First his head, bearded and angry. Then his shoulders and torso, one arm clearly extended behind. Then the rest of him and a very unhappy Arthur being pulled by his ear.
Imagine king Arthur raising from his grave for the hour of maximum need of Britain, and the very first thing he says is "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch"
And then he goes back to sleep because he knows better

So, I know pretty much nobody will see this.
But I've wanted to post about this for a while. Now, I'm a big fan of @wearepaladin I think what he does is great. I think his entire blog is incredible, but I think people miss the point sometimes. There are always these posts where people ask "Would it be morally/ethically/lawfully okay for me to do x, y, or z?" And often enough they're good questions, with reasonable moral implications. But sometimes they're foolish as could be. They try to justify things that do NOT fit into the Paladin moral code. They're questions that should have an obvious answer. And that can be frustrating, even for Paladin. And what I don't see enough, is people asking the Mages of the collective about morality. I think people see "Magic" and they assume that unlike divine power, there is no morality implicit in its use. They assume that magic may be done by the just and the unjust. And they're not entirely wrong, but divine favor can come from the good and the bad as well. If we're speaking historically, Magic was considered the purview of the virtuous. Only the righteous could practice it. On the other hand, Sorcery or Witchcraft were the "Evil" equivalent and were much more like a Warlocks pact than magic as we know it. And there's a necessary morality to using magic, else one lords over others with power that none can match. On the other hand, devil and demon worship or evil cults have existed for much of human history. Divine power is just as varied as arcane magic, the difference is that a Paladin is a righteous and HOLY warrior where as a mage is a righteous worker of magic. The Paladin is answerable to their deity or oath, the Mage is answerable only to themselves and the moral code which magic demands.
TL;DR - Maybe some of the questions shot at Paladin have other places they can go. Anti-paladin, Rogue, Deathknight, Warlord, Fighter, Mage. We all have some morality we are beholden to. That's all!

Think about why it’s illegal to hire a hit man.
All you’re really doing is speaking and giving someone money.
It’s legal to speak.
It’s legal to give someone money.
Even if they actually complete the job, you’re not the one who committed the murder.
So why is it illegal to hire a hit man?
Could it be because inciting violence is not protected under free speech?
And if that’s the case, why should free speech protect Nazis advocating genocide?

Alright, so last life update.
Yeah, so I'm back! Hopefully for good. And hopefully I can build up this blog again. But anyway, the Apprenticeship didn't work out. Turns out I have a "Problem with Authority", although I think that's bull! So, my mentor deemed me unfit for his tutelage, f that guy, and I'm doing things my own way again. So we're back to our regularly scheduled magic items and such. Anyway, I'm pretty happy that the shit with my family is over, and thanks to the friends who got me through that nightmare. Thank you to all of tumblr for existing, you've kept me sane. And most importantly, sorry for that false start with the whole divination thing.
TL;DR: The Enchanter is back! The Mentor is gone! Long live Enchantment!
