Transgender Law Center Charity Stream

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a good day! We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a charity stream for the Transgender Law Center Sunday, March 2nd 10am-10pm EST on our twitch channel!

The Transgender Law center is the largest national, trans-led organization working to set all people free. They Prioritize BIPOC, disabled, and HIV+ communities. Their advocacy and precedent-setting litigation victories protect and advance the rights of transgender and gender-nonconforming people across the country. Alongside their legal work, their groundbreaking organizing and movement-building programs assist, inform, and empower thousands of community members annually, building toward a long-term, national, trans-led movement for liberation.

We hope to raise around $1000 to assist them in their hard work protecting all of our rights in these difficult times So please come join us as we play games for this important cause! You might even win some custom emotes or a Vtuber model!

here are just some of the events people and prizes that we will be hosting for the stream, so if you want to have a fun time experiencing trans joy and making a difference, please consider stopping by and maybe donating!

The Creaking and his Heart

The new Life Series is turning out absolutely amazing so far! BigB and Scott changing their skins to resemble the creaking and the creaking heart respectively felt like an important dynamic, that I needed to make fanart for IMMEDIATELY. It makes me wonder, if Scott dies, will BigB follow soon after?

Been inactive lately and i return with... Feet?!? (pencilcat's Art Improvement Hell Challenge Day 4)

Prompt: Draw a part of the human anatomy you struggle with x20

I've been behind on posting more art challenge stuff because I didn't want to post exclusively about it, and then I just kept forgetting to post lol, but here is next day of the challenge!

Obviously, the part of the human anatomy I struggle with drawing the most is feet. I don't get very many opportunities to just draw feet, especially bare feet and I always found whenever I did have to draw bare feet for any reason, I always struggled to make it look right in my style.

I was both excited to finally get over this weakness and also dreading the thought of having to look at and draw bare feet for 9 hours.

All of my references were from Line of Action!

I started out on the first page just drawing the feet according to the references, and as you can tell by my thick and shaky strokes, I was not confident at all, but eventually I started getting into a groove which is when I decided to switch to skeletal/muscular studies. Anything I learned through doing that was purely subconscious because I was doubting myself that whole time, but to my surprise, when I went back to drawing the feet in all their fleshiness I had a much easier time somehow. You can tell my strokes are much more confident and the drawings themselves turned out much better!

There are so many things I would do differently, now with both the dialogue and the artwork... but I'm still proud of past me for doing it!

Oh Woah it's another excuse to draw my D&D character! This time it's Eris after she actually met the party and gained a sense of self and she's absolutely destroying her opponent!

It was a lot of fun to draw this. I fully got the hang of drawing figures from photo references and I just went wild with it. I once again used a reference from theposearchives on twitter

Prompt: Figure from a reference!

I got my reference from a Twitter account called theposearchives and I had a lot of trouble with it at first. I started out by tracing the shapes I noticed in the picture to get a feel for how it should flow, but when I went to actually draw it just from sight it felt like I couldn't get the proportions right and it frustrated me to no end; and this was just for the lady's pose. I picked a picture with two figures which meant I had to draw them twice. Luckily I managed to get the second pose on the first try, which honestly frustrated me more because that was how easy it should have been.

I didn't want to just stop at the sketch phase, though. There are prompts later where I have to draw multiple figures, so I though I should make this one into a sort of finished piece. So I decided to make it D&D. The one being pinned down is my character, Eris and the one with the sword is her sister, Jupiter. They are both clerics and they have a very Zuko/Azula esque relationship. I imagined this scene to be at a point where they were sparring against each other in the past.

I had a bit of trouble trying to make this one actually interesting. I draw myself quite a lot, so I wanted it to actually say something about me at the same time... This is what I ended up with!

I made this because I’ve been feeling super ‘blah’ about my art these days, and I needed something to kick-start myself. Who wants to do this with me!? Start now or whenever you can (now you procrastinators!). Challenge yourself and have fun at the same time!

Self-Portrait - Introduce yourself

Draw a figure using a reference - link to reference

Draw a figure that’s in action, using a reference - link to reference

Draw a part of the human anatomy you have trouble with. x20, with atleast 5 being skeletal/musculature studies.

Draw more figures. Quick gestures and silhouettes. x20, with atleast 10 different body shapes

Let’s have some fun. Design a character from either This or This character generator! Be creative and bring something to life!

Pick the weirdest object in your house/room. Draw it. Shadows and Highlights.

Find 2-3 objects, make a scene with them. Draw it. Bonus points for creativity. Double points for dramatic lighting.

Draw a landscape of a place you’ve never been or drawn.

Draw a BG with 1pt Perspective. Negative points if it’s a railroad or an empty street.

Draw a BG with 2pt Perspective.

Look out a window. Draw what you see. Bonus points for adding something interesting.

Draw an interior setting with the character you designed on Day #6 in it.

BG with either bird’s eye or worm’s eye view.

Halfway there! Draw three 'action’ scenes with different compositions in each. Quick sketches are fine, just make them interesting and understandable! Bonus points if it’s the same scene, but different composition.

Draw a single page comic with 5-7 panels (the story begins and ends on one page). 

Draw an animal you’ve never drawn before. x10  Link references.

Draw a car. Negative points for whining. Hint: Use a perspective grid.

Think of the thing you hate drawing the most. Guess what? Draw it! Negative points for lying to yourself.

Pick an object in your house/room. Now design a character from it, using the shapes, forms, textures, purpose and colors as inspiration. Also link/post the object you used. Negative points for using a humanoid action figure.

Draw a character/object/scene, and shade them using ONLY solid blacks and whites. Bonus points for good use of lights/shadows

Draw a different object/scene/character. Shade using hatching, crosshatcing, and/or pointillism. Bonus points for lights/shadows and textures.

Colors! Pick a color palette, and paint a scene/character/object using only those colors (some blending allowed). Bonus points for good use of lights/shadows.

Draw and color a scene/object/character - no lines allowed! (aka - lineless art). Don’t forget light and shadows!

Draw a scene/character in a style you’ve never drawn before. If emulating an artist, credit+link. Bonus for color style.

Draw a character. Draw 10 emotions/expressions. Bonus points for 'uncommon’ emotions. (i.e. anxiety, guilt, despair, loneliness etc.)

Draw three random shapes using your opposite hand (or your foot). Now design characters from those shapes.

Turn on the tv (or load your illegally downloaded movies). Pick an actor and draw them.

Almost done! Let’s have some fun. Draw some fanart. Bonus points if it’s super obscure and unknown. Make people guess what it’s from.

Last day! Find a drawing you did within the last year. Now draw it again using what you’ve learned! Link it for comparison!

 Look at all that amazing improvement! Congrats!
