Zevlor with a short gn partner

Zevlor has a bit of an issue when it comes to being overprotective. He is already a very protective man, but when the person he loves is as short as you are then it tends to go on the dramatic side. You pretty much have to prove to him that you can handle yourself. When someone about twice your size tries to sneak up on you with your back turned, you react quickly and leave a very concussed attacker on the floor. 

I personally feel like he probably puts on a front of being super serious and not joking around much. It takes him time to warm up to you, but when he does his sense of humor bursts when you are alone. Even after warming up to you, when you both are out in public he still tends to be on the more serious side. Now when you are alone and he allows himself the space to calm down, then he turns into a tease. His sense of humor involves making fun of you for being short and how he never realized how nice it is to be tall.

You are around 5’1 and while Zevlor is not a very tall man, 5’11, you make him feel incredibly tall and he loves it. He loves how when you hug each other your face is always buried into his chest. When you are kissing, he is the type that would lean into you with a hand on the wall by your head and the other gripping your waist. On another note, he loves for you to sit in his lap when you’re making out because it makes everything much easier.

Scenario: Walking through the market with Zevlor you are trying to decide on what you would like to prepare for dinner later that night. The smell of spices fills the air and there are multiple stalls with fresh produce and meats. You decide to stop and look at the prices on herbs at this small shop, and while you’re doing that Zevlor is looking through some crystals close by. A stranger wants to test their luck today it seems! Taking a chance when your back is turned this person goes in quick for your gold pouch. The stranger was not fast enough to steal from you without notice, and you are able to grab them by the shoulder, throwing them away from you. You approach the individual and press down on their now injured appendage as a warning before turning to walk away. Zevlor was coming back when he saw everything that happened, and he very quickly started pulling you out of the market. He is incredibly proud and will tell you so but would rather not have you get questioned about the battered and bruised person laying on the ground.

Headcanons for Gale, Astarion, and Halsin with a shy gn partner

Astarion 

Whenever you first meet Astarion will definitely pick on you a bit about being shy. Now he will not be mean or cruel at all, it is more of a teasing playfulness. He would volunteer you for any speaking roles and sit to watch you get flustered. Coming to your rescue is his favorite new hobby, and getting to tease you about it later on when you’re alone together.

If someone is making fun of you or in any way makes you uncomfortable then Astarion to the rescue. When you first meet and he is still feeling pretty stabby, you might have to keep some people from being on a missing persons poster.

Anything he can do to make you nervous he will do whenever possible. Leaning really close when he talks to you, and making it to where you can feel his breath on your neck. If you decide to let him feed from you then prepare for all of the dramatics and flare. He will caress your face, and have his other hand gripped onto your side pulling you closer.

“No need to be shy my darling, it’s just me.” As if he is not doing and saying some of the most head turning things. When you are officially together then this just gets even worse for you. He is even more out there and says things like “Love, you get all flustered just for me hm?”

When you got together it was after a lot of confusion on his part because even though you are shy around everyone you seem even more so around him. Poor baby thinks you are scared of him so go give him a hug he’s earned it.

As the relationship goes on I feel like Astarion would become more and more understanding and start to tease you less and less. The teasing will never stop, but it won’t be as constant as it was in the beginning .

No one can tell me this man wouldn’t be incredibly protective over his love. When walking around in public he would make sure to stay by your side in case you need his help with conversation. Will verbally attack anyone who is rude to you or causes your anxiety to spike. 

Gale

Oh my sweet baby I love this man. I do not care what anyone says I would die for this sweetheart. 

On one hand Gale is incredibly protective over you, but on the other he still knows to let you handle yourself. If someone pushes you too far then he will get involved to keep you from panicking or anything bad from happening. 

When walking around in public settings he keeps an arm around your waist and holds you close. His presence is a calming factor for you, and this is something you will both use to your advantage. If you need to lie for some reason then Gale will be on standby to keep you calm enough to be more deceptive.

Just because he is a sweetheart does not mean that he wouldn’t be a tease. Now it would not be nearly as often as the others, but he will still pick on you on occasion. Gentle touches when passing by, mocking you a bit if you stutter some, and getting way too close when he whispers in your year are just some examples of ways he will tease you. 

He absolutely loves that you are shy around everybody. He says that it saves time by keeping you from having unnecessary conversations, but we all know that he just thinks it is adorable when you are flustered. You will sit there glaring at him with a pouty look on your face while he is saying “I did absolutely nothing wrong my flower, and I stand by that.” 

Halsin

While Halsin is not shy, he is not exactly out there all of the time either. He is the perfect person to go to at parties or other public events where you need to escape. A quick look in his direction and he will be steadfast in your rescue from whatever is causing you discomfort.

Everyone knows that Halsin is incredibly tall, 7 feet to be specific, and he will use his height to advantage on intimidation when someone bothers you. Like Gale he knows that you can handle yourself, but he does not think that you should have to. 

Making you nervous is something he can do with no effort, but sometimes he likes to fluster you on purpose. Wrapping his arms around your shoulders, leaning his head on top of your head, and whispering the most heinous of things in your ear. If Halsin were to ever make you genuinely uncomfortable then he would be very quick to apologize. Think wooden ducks he whittled and flowers he picked for you. 

If you would like for him too then he would be very willing to do the talking for you, or to just be there in support. Seven foot tall golden retriever, he is so sweet and supportive. When you are out in public together then he is walking side by side with you and holding your hand. Letting you lead where to go and he just follows happy to be there.

Whenever you get overwhelmed and start to panic, you do not even have to say anything Halsin will notice right away. Whatever methods you have that help you he will gladly be there for you to do whatever you need. If you are panicking and for whatever reason cannot calm down then he will grab you in a big hug, pull you close so that you can feel his heartbeat and know that he is there, so you are safe.

Your Headcanons for Halsin with a much shorter gn reader Part One request is so good! Please make part two of this request & another part for Zevlor! I love this especially both the fact Halsin would purposely move stuff on a high shelves & how stubborn they are that they won't ask for help are hilarious to me XD, he did apologise for a week straight while they said it's okay since they were also too stubborn to ask, how much he loves the height difference, how he managed to be so sweet yet so mischievous to them XD, he would tease them whether by picking them up or waiting before giving in to kiss them, he showed them a beautiful lake, he already prepared a spot with fruits & bread, he's admiring them while they look around in awe, they thanked him for bringing them here which he explained he always wanted to as a surprise, both of them were about to kiss before he picked them up, he peppered their face kisses before one on the lips 🥰, he told them that they're too adorable to resist 😍, and both of them said I love you at the same time 💗 This is so good and I love it so much! How many characters can we request for or headcanons? Would you do the same prompt with different characters? Can we request for male reader, female reader, gender neutral reader, etc? Are there any characters you won't do in each fandom? Are there any topics you won't do like rape, suicide, etc? Do you do poly ships x reader? Would you mind if we request for Alternate Universes or Aus like AU where the character lives happily? Would you mind if the request is suggestive, implied sex, or mentioned sex but no explicit sex? Other than Astarion, who would you take requests for? For Baldur's Gate 3 requests, would you mind if we specify for reader to be human or their race to be unspecified? Thank you in advance!

For the head canons I would like to start with writing no more than three at a time, but I'll eventually do more!

I would love to do the same prompt for different characters! I feel like each character would handle things much differently than each other.

You can request for any gender of the reader at all! I want whoever reads my stories to be able to put themselves in the story if they wish.

I can't think of any characters that I wouldn't do! Even if I don't like a character I think it would be a fun challenge to write about them.

I'll write about topics like rape and suicide, but as someone who has been assaulted I won't go into full detail, just implied or non-discriptive

Warnings: Angst to fluff, past ass*ult, past abusive relationship, kinda unintentional self harm, Halsin is a big softy (yes this is a warning)

Summary: You tell Halsin part of your past when he finds you upset

Should I keep this going or start on a new idea?

Tears fill your eyes as you run into the forest away from everyone's prying eyes. You keep running until you find a spot far enough away from everyone where they won't hear your crying. As you stop and take in your surroundings you realize there is a beautiful pond not too far away. Walking towards the pond, tears now running down your face, you decide this is a good space to be alone. Sitting by the edge of the pond you finally let your sobs escape your throat into the open air. Not realizing exactly what you're doing, or registering the pain, you start to hit your thighs as hard as you can. "Why can't I get over this? When does it stop hurting so much?" You scream. The sound of a branch snaps you out of your trance-like state, and you turn around to see Halsin close behind you. He walks towards you slowly and sits down beside you. "I felt the need to check on you when you ran off, would you like to talk about what it is that's upsetting you?" He says. You think for a moment, 'should I tell him?', but decide against it. Shaking your head you say "no it's- it's silly I'll be fine. Just give me a moment." Halsin does not believe you for a moment, but decides not to push the matter yet, instead staying seated beside you in case you change your mind. "Nature's gifts sure are beautiful, sometimes I sit out here just to observe." Halsin says. You know he is just trying to distract you, but for now you allow it to work. "You've been to this spot before? It's beautiful." You say. Leaning your head against his shoulder you let out a long sigh. "My problems are not yours, they are mine to deal with." You say. " My love, let me be here for you. You can rely on me."
