This is specifically chapter 3, ‘Bloody Romance’, which broke my heart. So, I tried (keyword:tried) to do fanart. Uhhhh diodes T look very good in my opinion, but I didn’t waste like 2 hours for nothing. Oof, this kind of looks emo. Ah well, it’s worth it. Valen-san’s fics are really good so pls check it out if u haven’t!!!

Been seeing genderbend Treyjade. I think it’s lovely. Even them as girls rule. Also headcanon that while most would be a few cm shorter than girls, tweels and malleus would be taller. Maybe Leona too. I think it’s cool.

Can we talk more about Cater in chapter 7? I love him, from the moment he woke up, he took charge, had a plan and has just been killing it? From literally beating some sense into Ace, then their heart to heart. I would never have guessed Ace of all people is who he'd open up to but it was so sweet and emotional.

The way he got upset at the end of his dream defending him and a Trey against Idia and Leona’s allegations. Then turns around and *proves* how much he cares about his underclassmen.

He had a good plan with Trey’s dream, especially the bit about Ace and Deuce staying out of it at first because he could pass himself off as a clone.

And Riddle’s dream!!!! It was clear to me actually how much Riddle has to look up to him, because between the music and his style, that had to have at least some influence from Cater. And he's the one that jumped at joining his band and played along to get more info.

Then immediately realized when Trey was having a panic attack, when Trey himself didn't even realize what it was. Cater knew how to deal with it (which says a lot). And just everything up to him being the one to hug Riddle. He's usually so closed off, it was a bit emotional. I don’t think I could have handled another scene like his Halloween SSR as he stood back and watched other people have that moment (if it had been Trey and Riddle to hug).

Finally seeing him kind of open up and accept these people are important to him is huge step for his character. And I hope we see more of it.
