177 - A poem for the Carrion
The roaches cease their pillage -
So I relent with the ugly words, An uglier me; Vitriol and atop the tears born
Others.
I now understand the obsession of
Carrion and the culling -
Deaths tendered and banked by bugs So when agony outweighs the one I pain, eternity admits and chimes
“Time to cash out.”

176 - A poem for her Shield
Come 三溪的 (Sanxi’s) promise, I do what I can to assume this title - 堡垒 (“BULWARK”)
I assume,
When the bodies break.
I assume,
When hearts persist.
And I assume,
That her’s Is the lap I’ll rest my Final Breath Upon;
Come Austin’s promise And worlds away, she’d tattooed 盾 (“SHIELD”)
Upon her heart, Upon her lips, With the softest of Words - love - And forever, I’d be safe.

175 - A poem for the Welcomed Dormancy
Though my hands remain empty, My heart wields a blade wrought the hours, Wrought the storm.
Huddled in corners becoming wheat and plain. Admired the stars and waving greenery, lakes endless. Smiled the sunset, an ocean promised: Torture, Tenacity, And Truth. I’ve traversed that ocean. I’m opposite this ocean. Smirked the audacity, the hero assumed: I gray, I ache, And wither.
Though my back’s sundered broken, My shoulder’s heave a burden wrought this love, Your love, our love,And I’d trade it for nothing.

174 - A poem for the Wolves
Lone Wolf and two cubs Admire the sunrise, promised the day; Promised the night, and legacy’s covenant.
Wolf walks and so the cubs run - Hymn of the stars, echoed, our ultimatum, And A guaranteed, our eternity
So
The years become thieves, and the Time smiles in tempests. Yes, all Whilst daggers remain behind backs.
Thus, it repeats, and repeats, and repeats, Our celestial chase, kin and mortal conundrum,
So
When the -
Wolf runs through the fog and final, The cubs will continue to walk - Knowing father, knowing time, knowing pride, His pride And need to honor His very shadow, the Very same that departed before Him;
They walk knowing the day never truly ends, And in the night, so too, all things return.

173 - A poem for the False Decadence
Severed, were the fingernails, So too, I chopped my toes.
Ate some berries, Tucked and snuck a nip or two.
I’m opposite
The grinning charlatan, The foxian charm, and
Decadent’s wiseguy, Because this is - Parallel the plight and pale ear;
My own, wherein I desperately seek the numb. But am awarded kindness,
The abundance, Of how very bright you are -
Contrary,
My apathy, your empathy, And hemlock I still try to sneak.
Severed, in truth, my only friend, And all that's ever come back for me.
