I Cannot Hear You

There's a whole wide space in the middle of the living room that neither one of us talks about. We cling to the very skirts of it, aware that it is dark down there, aware that neither one of us can see the bottom, aware that we cannot live like this forever.

To the nights we arrive home blinded and drunk, and I think, how will this be the end. Come of the morning, and we're back again to having breakfast with our backs against the wall, back to pretending that we didn't both lean in over the sides of it all.

I wonder sometimes if at all it would be sad to let it swallow us both whole. You stand on one side and I on the other, hesitant I shout across "I love you", and you lift your head to your ear and mouth the words,

"I can't hear you".

The Giant’s Causeway - Northern Ireland The initial first post, does appear to be rather daunting, a'flushed affair’: dark, unknowing and only guessing its impact. So here goes, me! Discovery Photography this July, is dedicated to Ireland: especially ‘Northern Ireland’. Inspired by sharing joy of life enjoy the page, love to hear from you! ❤ Northern Ireland - has to be one of the most beautiful, eye capturing sceneries within the European Union! (my opinion, still untouched by carbon man!). We started our journey, travelling by car from Southern Ireland. Enjoying the rural ‘Causeway Route’, stopping off at the ‘Rope Bridge’: a must see adventure, if you’re into heights, and the odd fishermen story from locals! (to visualise, photography will be publicised soon). The Causeway, fascination incorporating the natural science of our ‘planet Earth’! Here’s the science bit - forty thosand 'basalt’ shaped columns, that were created by an volcanic eruption. There are also myth’s that are so dreamy, if you are like me, believe in legends like the 'flick’ trilogy 'The Lord Of The Rings’. 🙈😊
