A Dark Idea For Kirishima’s Backstory

So many people have these angsty theories for Kirishima’s backstory, and I want to add to the angst. 

It’s heavily implied that Kirishima suffered from low self-esteem and felt weak when he was a kid. As a result, he felt so weak and useless that he was driven suicide. However, before he tries to kill himself, his Quirk stops him. For instance, if he tries to kill himself with a gun, his head hardens instinctively before the bullet can hit his brain. If he tries to jump off a tall bridge, his whole body hardens to protect him from the fall. If he tries to slit his wrist, his wrist hardens before he can cut himself. If he tries to hang himself, his neck hardens and gets spiky, cutting the rope and preventing him from choking to death. If he jumps in front of a moving train, his body hardens before the train can hurt him. 

For a dramatic twist in irony, Bakugou figures out about the suicide attempt, and then we get a flashback to this scene.
