Regarding the LU grievance post from earlier

I wanted to mention that I don't inherently dislike anyone who mistags my work as LU. Mistakes happen.

I just ask that you be mindful of it. It can be demoralizing to have my work mis-credited, even though you didn't mean anything wrong by it. Okay?

At this point, getting LU mistags is just par for the course to the point where I just think, "thanks for the free exposure, I guess". They've lessened since I started adding a House of Heroes stamp to my work, but it's a little dejecting that I have to do it at all.

Having a Links Meet is difficult. I've seen LU propped up everywhere on a high pedestal and it almost gives an artificial expectation of, "you MUST be as good as this to even get recognition for your work." I've had this AU for a long time, but only recently started really giving my Links real official designs because for a while I was afraid people would compare it to LU. Until I finally lost all fucks and went, "screw it, I want Twilight to have a fur collar so he's gonna get one." He looks different enough otherwise.

And then my work gets tagged as LU anyway so at this point it's almost a game. It's better than being disheartened because your passion project is being credited to someone else.

LU is a wonderful piece of art made by someone who loves LoZ, and I have nothing whatsoever against it. But it's not the only story with the guys in green hats out there. Please read the original tags, and don't push what something isn't on other people's stories, folks.

Final pair of HoH Links as merfolk! Warrior is a royal blue tang/betta fish mix, and is as flamboyant as he deserves. Twilight is a little different. He's a catfish (both Ordon and redtail)/sockeye salmon (or reekfish) mix. I mean, apart from some minor differences, the reekfish is just a salmon 😂
