I like to hc Harry getting a Phoenix familiar at some point, one that he got while it was still in the egg before it hatches for the v first time, and I like to picture it hatching in his hair somehow just so there’s suddenly a bird there and Draco has more “bird’s nest hair” fuel against him

Specifically I’m thinking about him being at a large event and collapsing into Sirius or someone else’s arms and crying and everyone’s fretting over him, even people who don’t want to admit they care, like Draco and Snape

I just can’t think of what I want to be his last straw, I don’t want it to be something too horrible but also don’t want that straw to be a tiny one where he feels embarrassed afterwards for crying

(He’d probably feel embarrassed either way but I want minimal embarrassment, and maybe it’s something where he feels is ridiculous at first but everyone else is like “no, no, that’s definitely something to be upset about” and he gets validated)

I’d like more shipping fics where Harry gets to cry and gets comforted and that leads to them getting together, and granted there is like a couple of fics out there with that sort of premise, but I want it to be waaay less angsty

He has so many good reasons to cry, I think he should still be allowed to cry over a regular stressful day tho and still be taken seriously (while everyone freaks out cause Harry never cries), a sort of straw that breaks the camel’s back kind of thing

Hp fandom dragged me back in because I miss reading fics where the mc is low key famous and beloved by people in the background

She got out of the hospital a little bit ago and immediately started being a huge bitch I feel so validated

My Dudley, the actual kid of the family members who fostered me and got spoiled while I was treated like trash and who bullied me, is in the hospital and everyone else is so distraught over her health and I just. don’t feel anything, and that makes me feel a bit like a monster

Like I’m not actively wishing anything against her, I just don’t feel any actual concern or stress over her condition, I hadn’t kept in contact with her since turning 18 so we’re practically strangers now, but I still think I’d feel more if someone told me a stranger was hurt

It doesn’t help that from what I’ve heard, she never really grew up or started treating people nicer or anything like that

But idk, I just sorta feel like a monster for not really being affected by it

Thinking about Harry, Ron, and Hermione learning French because it’s a mix of making Fleur feel more welcome and also because Sirius knows French and is always excited to teach Harry something

Thinking about the best practice Harry gets is when he gets into arguments with Draco because of course Malfoy knows French and can’t just let them practice in peace

Super self indulgent scenario:

Omegas being extremely treasured in the Wizarding World and (surprise surprise) Harry presents as one, and due to tradition and stuff he has to have a party thrown for him, obviously it’s Sirius who takes over the planning and stuff

And it’s an exclusive event, not just because it’s a Black party, or because of Harry’s own fame, but because Omega Presentation Parties (haven’t actually decided on a name for it) are exclusive by default

And also because weirdly enough there’s never actually been a party held for Harry where he’s actually in attendance (due to the whole “living in the muggle world” thing)

So when it comes out that this party is going to happen, everyone becomes desperate to get an invitation, even the people who act like they don’t care

I would like Bellatrix/Harry and Regulus/Harry in the v specific scenario of Harry being named Black Heir and Bellatrix and Regulus eventually getting over their outrage because blood-wise he is a distant relative and they can see the advantages of bringing him into the main line, but insist the next heir have a proper amount of Black blood in them and oh well looks like it’s gotta be with me and then they become possessive spouses

(even if it’s a no Voldemort universe, I still believe Harry would be v powerful and just get into situations™️ that raise his reputation, also I really like the idea of Harry being a parselmouth and they’re like “yeah, okay, we gotta make sure main line has that ability”) (also if you believe the theory that Bellatrix knew Voldemort was a half blood, this doesn’t make my post seem that crazy, she got over her hangup for him, she could do it for Harry)

For Bellatrix/Harry, especially if it’s fem!Harry and omegaverse for both pairings, I like a/b/o when omegas are treasured and it just makes even more sense for Harry/Harriet to inherit the Black Family everything

Unfortunately for me, this scenario only exists in my head

Sirius and Remus taking Harry on a family vacation which ends up with Tonks and Andromeda joining and Narcissa finding out and insisting her and her family be invited because at this point it could be taken as a “Black Family Vacation™️” and she refuses to allow any implication where she’s not considered a Black anymore

So now Draco and Harry are forced to be on a summer vacation together

I love the idea of the Peverell line descending from the Slytherin line always the leaving the Potter’s with the potential to have parseltongue and also I love the idea of baby Harry babbling in parseltongue and Lily and James realizing it’s for sure their kid that’s the child of prophecy before their deaths

None of the “Harry Potter is the Black Family Heir” fics really hit on what I want, I want him to be learning how to handle in-family fighting and for the members of the family to become possessive of him after they get over the whole “half-blood chosen as heir” indignation
