This is actual perfection

It's five years later. It was a harrowing journey followed by an insane court trial, but the unsinkable eight are home. Most of them have finished college at this point and are starting out on what's supposed to be real life. But four times a year, because they need to, they get back together. (Plus one extra time where they include the boys) This time it's Dot's turn to host, and the girls are in the backyard of the house she was able to buy thanks to the substantial payouts from their lawsuits, gathered around the fire pit, drinking, laughing, sharing their plans for the future. A brief lull in the conversation gives Leah the opening she's been waiting for.

"Soooo, the FBI's been finally releasing some of the stuff they gathered from our campsite on isalnd one. And guess what they sent me?"

She pulls out the pipe she and Rachel had made. The group gasps. She blows a few notes. "Still works too."

"And y'all know what that means" Rachel says, getting up an poiting at the group.

"I don't," Nora admits. Fatin places a hand on her shoulder.

"Oh, you missed out. You are in for a treat, isn't she baby?"

"Damn right," Leah answers her girlfriend proudly. "Cause for one night only, the island band is back!"

She begins playing Home on the pipe. Despite the instruments age, it sounds just about as good as it did when she played it on the island. Rachel joins her with a reproduced version of the shaker she has used . As they go on, just as she had back then, Dot begins to sing along despite herself. The whole group gets into it. Martha takes Nora's hands and begins to dance with her and Rachel. Fatin and Leah slow dance together.

Meanwhile, by the fire, Toni and Shelby are watching contentedly, when Toni's attention turns to to Shelby. Bathed in the glow of the fire, she sees the girl she fell in love with on that island. She also sees the woman she has become over the last five years. A woman who is truly free. She loves both of them.

Shelby catches her glance. She breifly looks down at the engagement ring on her finger, illuminated by the glow of the flame, than back at Toni.

"This. This is the most perfect moment of my life."

She rests her head on her shoulder as the singalong continues. The Unsinkable Eight are Home.

Twitter timeline is making me sad. Everyone is either saying they don't want the wilds to renewed because of the writers or that it isn't gonna be renewed anyway! I want another season soooooo badly! I haven't connected and enjoyed a tv show in soo long! The wilds and shoni were the main reason why I started a tumblr blog!

i understand the boys weren't great and I really didn't enjoy there scenes, but I just want another season of our girls. I need to see dots development! I need to see the chemistry between fatin and Leah and most importantly THE SERIES CANNOT END WITH SHELBY AND TONI KINDA BROKEN UP

Ive finished season 2 so i can finally go on Twitter without worrying about seeing a spoiler!

On a whole i actually quite liked this season! Obviously nowhere near as much as season one, but it definitely still left me wanting more and needing to see how it plays out! Regarding the boys, I am not a huge fan. There is just loads of things about there story line on a hole that I don't get and it didn't like. Obviously in season 1 with the girls being the main focus, we got to see all of there individual backstory's, and understood why and how they ended up being part of the experiment, and considering how much more screen time the boys got than the girls this season, I thought it was gonna be obvious why they were there, but honestly I couldn't tell you? Like what was the point of the boys announcement being such a big deal and making there scenes longer than the girls, if some of them where only gonna get a half assed back story? I just didn't see the point. I think unfortunately the person who wrote the article and called the boys "the unnecessary eight" was right. And the whole bit around Seth I just didn't like at all. If a show is gonna include someone to be the villain and also include a SA scene then at least don't try and give them a fucking redemption arc. I feel like I could confidently say for the entire fandom that NO ONE wants that. ANYWAY with that all being said. Our girls KILLED IT this season and honestly they deserve another one. The writing for fatin, leah and Rachel this season was amazing. I loved how there characters developed and even tho I am a bit said that dot didn't get this much this season, she was still one of the my favourites to watch! Shannon's acting after toni shouted at dot and her speaking to her dad had me in fucking tears. And I mean SHONI god my heart was warming my entire body every time they were on the screen together!

Okay I'm just about to start ep 4 of season 2.

Hot take at the moment is that the boys are slightly annoying but okay. I sort of like Raf but his backstory I found sort of boring. The other boys I haven't really formed an opinion on them yet, I am interested in Kirins story tho!

I'm just sad that the girls aren't having as much screen time 🥺. I also wasn't expecting shelby to be so okay with the rest of the girls finding out about her sexuality so quickly!

That being said tho, the girls are fucking KILLING this season! They are doing so well! I think the writing for fatin and Leah at the moment is amazing, and I'm actually really enjoying Leah as a character!

I also didn't think I would be stuck between shipping Leah and fatin and Leah and Rachel!

here’s the thing. while i’m watching the boys scenes, do i hate it? no. is it watchable? sure. it’s not good, but it’s not necessarily bad. but then it cuts to a girls scene, and the chemistry is through the roof, the writing is way better, the characters are so much more intriguing, the actresses are so much cleaner with the delivery, and overall it’s just so good and so much better. i was really trying to be optimistic about the boys, and i do like a couple so far, like raf and kirin, but i’m almost done with ep4 and so far they’re just not necessary and only take away from the whole reason the show is good; the girls

Honestly the ending on Killing eve has ruined queer tv series for me! Every time I look at an edit of villaneve being happy and cute in the last episode, I just get so emotional because I remember the ending and then think about how we could of had so many cute moments if season 4 just carried on straight after the bridge scene!

I don't know how I'm gonna get over this 😭

I am so disappointed. I can't even enjoy the new promo photos of the wild because I am so sad about the ending.

On what earth did Laura neal think that the fans of the show were going to enjoy this ending! So many things didn't make sense!

I sort of had a feeling that one of them was gonna die, but like wtf? Why did Carolyn have villanelle killed? Why did they have to kill her off just as she was about to have a happy ending with Eve?

And what she said about Eve having a "rebirth" once she came up for air is bullshit!
