If you have travelled through time and space (and maybe even the fifth dimension) and found your way here - welcome ! 

I don’t think I can blame the heat might seem like quite the long title for a simple blog and it actually has nothing to do with what we are going for with this page. We wanted to create a space to share and document our future travel adventure(s) as we are planning to go to New Zealand come fall. 

We, you might ask yourself. Yes, we, that is Julia & Nicky, two university students from Jena. Because, like Peter Pan, we refuse to grow up and get real “adult” jobs - so, naturally, the young impressionable, little hipsters that we are, we decided to spend our time exploring new places instead. 

So, if you are up for following us around, prepare yourself for a ton of space related songs, whale and the martian talk, moon spells, tarot card readings, random Briony-and-Lola-rants and work and travel preparations.
