never in my 14 years of life have i been so angry at what is happening in america. black people are getting targeted by the police force, natives are being kidnapped, queer kids are being hate-crimed, and while all this is happening, the government is just letting it happen. they are sitting back and relaxing while protesters in minneapolis are getting tear-gassed and shot at by rubber bullets. they are ignoring the unproportional amount of black people getting killed by police officers. george floyd, ahmaud arbery, troy mcdade, rodney king, breonna taylor. say their names. may they rest in power, for their deaths will start the fire that will burn down this corrupt state that we call “the land of the free”
