ANYWAYS READ TARDY ITS ABT A SHITTY SCHOOL

Hi there! This is the prologue to a stupid story my friends and I came up with in 8th grade. It's been awhile but I managed to find and edit the intro. Like legit took me an hour and a half. This is mostly world building stuff.

Sooo what is Tardy? It was originally a drama my friends and I came up with. I wrote a lot but most was lost or needs revision. It's got horror and comedy aspects. The characters please note are 13-14. There are 4 mcs and most of it is written in Giselles perspective. Anyways enjoy! I like tips btw.

“That’s it i’m done Giselle! Fifteen! Do you understand how big of a number that is? You’ve had 15 tardies this year. How? How is that even possible! Your teacher was right you need discipline. And I don’t care if you want to go or not you��re going to Crypt.” That’s the last thing my mom said to me before rumaging through my room and shoving all my stuff into one small suitcase. She didn’t even say a word on the drive to the ship; all she did is grunt angrily to herself. I was still in my pajamas.

Now honestly how could someone hear a name such as “Crypt Academy” and really think, “Hrrrrm seems like a safe place to send my kid!” Like you cannot be serious! That’s completely ridiculous! It sounds like a morgue or like a school for morticians and goths. Sure, I missed a couple classes, got in a couple fights, and yeah, I was a little late and got caught in the tardy sweeps! But who cares really it’s not like i’ve killed a man or sonething. Why send me to a school meant to “discipline” and “whip” me into shape.

I complained to myself the whole drive to the ship. There was a big ship the S.S Lusia it was supposed to take me to Crypt Academy. It was essentially a cruiseliner with beautiful shining red accents painted across it. The ship seemed to have a theme of red, gold and white. I didn’t mind it one bit! It was fancy and elegant…and those are synonyms aren’t they? Either way, the ship was gorgeous! Although I couldn’t help but be a little off-put. There was something wrong with this ship. Actually maybe it wasn’t the ship itself but the people—the people manning the ship. The staff seemed to glare with a sort of evil look on their face everytime you passed them. I’ve tried to shake it off but I can’t help but feel as though they have an ill intention behind that gaze.

The ride there was exceedingly boring. I'll spare you most of the details. I kept to myself the whole time and simply read the books on the ship. Every time I saw someone I wanted to talk to I got too scared and chickened out. I didn’t want to bother anyone and now i’m alone when everyone else has made friend groups. That’s not the part that worries me though. The part that really worries me is that school. It’s a big gothic looking building shrouded in fog. Crypt Academy in plain english is a giant hogwarts like school with a horrible menacing aura around it. Everything in the school is shades of black, brown and red and lit by horrible lighting, the dorm rooms however are the worst; they reek of mold and air freshener, theres a book shelf and two seperate sleeping areas, as well as a small living room (mind you with no TV) which I assume is for study groups. Worst of all is that horrible aforementioned looming aura of “You should not be here”. All in all this is exactly what I expected of a place called Crypt Academy! I just didn’t expect to be alone here.

Anyways i'll probably be posting to Wattpad as well. Under the @ ITSAshAsl! I have other stuff i made back then that I may post too. Eventually.

I went to that foodieland place yesterday. It was expensive as shit everything was like 12+ usd.

My cousin tried chocolate dipped cheesecake for the first time and actually liked it. So proud of her 🥲

I got a korean corndog towards the end. My dumbass was abt to pass out from POTS, but i stuck it out for the corndog. The ladies looked at me like i was crazy cause i didnt want anything on it.

AND I ADDED TO MY GOBLIN HOARD!! I got a cool hairstick! THAT I CAN LIKELY NEVER USE BC MY HAIR IS CURLY BUT ITS WORTH IT
