Hello! Would it be possible for you to double check your tags before you post and not tag Natsume Sakasaki on unrelated posts? I think you're trying to tag a different Natsume with a different family name from another series and not the Ensemble Stars character. It's just a lil annoying thinking there's a new post and finding a wrongly tagged character instead.. No need to answer me, I just wanted to send you the message, thanks and have a good day!

Also Dazai, who proceeds by jumping off said bridge into the river in order to be saved by Ōgai Mori to become close to him and pretend to be his wardso he can keep an eye on the port mafia for Natsume::D

Dazai being the book and being adopted by Natsume is something I didn’t know I needed in my life.

Spill everything!! How does it work?? Is Natsume like his dad?? Does Dazai feel safe with him?? Infodump! We are here and ready to receive （╹◡╹）(only if you want to ofc. No pressure!!/pos)

So after Natsume acquires, Shuuji Tsushima he asks what his name is he answers that he was named Shuuji Tsushima but wishes to be named Dazai Osamu.

And of course Natsume respect their wish, and legally makes his name  Osamu Natsume Dazai.

Natsume is more like the grandfather that had to step up to raise his grandchild at first, since he did not know how to deal with children but does eventually become like a dad for Dazai, and at first, Dazai was wary of Natsume, but after sometime Dazai, does feel safe with Natsume.

As for the the rest, I have a rough idea, but I need to somehow put it into words so you have to wait and see~

AU where Book Dazai is adopted by Natsume Souseki

So the book has existed centuries and been used for war. Until someone grabbed it and hid it it is passed down from sensei to student.

Until Natsume, every sensei had two students, one that will keep it, and the other one as aback up, he was the back up student.

The first student lived a normal life and fell in love, but they a lover died, as well as their unborn child. Driving them mad, causing them to write in the book to give them a child named Shuuji Tsushima.

Shuuji Tsushima didn’t help their Mother’s mental health, it made it worse.

She begged him to bring back her husband and her unborn child when Shuuji Tsushima couldn’t she chose to somehow force him do it with a knife.

Months of trying to force Shuuji Tsushima to bring back her dearest ones. She chose to end it all, including the child she made with the book.

But before she could succeed in killing her creation,

Natsume barged in her house, her friend and fellow student.

He as able to save the child, but not his friend.

The person who drove Dazai to Oda when he die was Hirotsu.

Hirotsu didn’t even know what was happening just that Dazai needed a ride and took him.

No words were said between the two in the car on the way to Oda and back to the Porta mafia.

The last person to see the demon prodigy Dazai was Hirotsu, and the first person in the Port Mafia to truly meet detective Dazai of the ADA.

One step closer to the Demon king

I encourage everyone to give this manga/Manhwa a try, at the start/middle part of the story may be a bit confusing. As the plot progresses, it becomes clearer, although it may take over 100 chapters to fully grasp it due to its complexity.

The artwork is incredible throughout the entire series, and there are so many funny faces shown by multiple characters.

Luomen is back at the inner Palace! I love everyone’s reaction about how normal he is compared to Maomao!

He’s known to have good deductive abilities so like after he meets Jinshi & the Emperor, do you think he’ll recognize who Jinshi really is?

I like how, Gaoshun and Jinshi, are unfazed by Maomao, like they see her unhinged laughter and they just let her laugh. (At the fact that Jinshi’s attempted killer is still alive)

Hirotsu is like the most positive father-son dynamic Dazai has had, and to me, Oda-saku is more like an elder brother figure.

In my functional la(ra) clan:

Maomao still lives with Luomen but he’s more of a grandpa or uncle to her, as she actually has a positive relationship with her bio father Lakan.

They live around the same area as in Canon as Luomen enjoys, planting herbs way too much. They tried to move

So Maomao and Lumen live in a very slightly bigger house, and still live near the pleasure district.

Maomao still knows poison and herbs but has some skills in Go and Shogi thanks to Lakan. Lahan has also helped her become better in finance.

Lahan is still skilled in finances, and knows a bit, not very much about poisons and herbs due to Maomao and Luomen he has a bit of resistance to poison thanks to Maomao giving him barely poisonous tea and is also has some skills in Go and Shogi thanks to Lakan.

What would Hirotsu have done if Dazai had been there when the Black Lizard stormed the ADA? Like would he and Gin just turn and walk out, cause that would be the smart thing to do.

I also love the idea of Tachihara running in all confident and he turns around to see everyone else just gone. I feel like any goons who joined before Dazai left would just run away.

After seeing Dazai utterly terrify Hirotsu in the Dark Era LN I doubt he would ever want to cross him. not to mention, everyone in the mafia knows "The greatest misfortune of Dazai's enemies, is that Dazai is their enemy"
