Random ninja headcanons ( Part 2 )

Warning: mention of mental health and sh under the cut.

- On every Lloyd’s birthday the ninja throw him a big party, since he never had those in the boarding school for bad boys

- When Kai and Nya were little, Kai was the first to realise that his parents aren’t returning, so when Nya asked Kai where’s mom or dad he just said that their gonna be home one day.

- Garmadon still cares for Lloyd, Harumi manipulated Garmadon into thinking that he has some ultimate power so he could be her pawn.

- Lou knew that Lilly was an elemental master, he knew his son had the same power, but he didn’t want Cole to follow into the footsteps of Lilly because of the fate of his late wife

- Kai absolutely loves the blue mud he ate at the cragling base.

- Jay absolutely loves his nunchucks, it is his favourite weapon, he has a poster of it in his room.

- Jay has a lot of scars, whether it is from self harm, or working in the junkyard, he is insecure about them.

- Lloyd also has scars from his time in the darkly’s boarding school, some from missions and also a few self harm scars which he sees as battle scars.

- When someone asks Lloyd about his power, it makes him wonder what he’s power really is, he is aware that it’s energy but he wonders if it was passed down somehow like all the other elemental powers.

- The ninja often have movie nights (idk if I mentioned this) and they go by age who gets to pick the movie, so Lloyd is always first, then it’s Nya, Kai and Jay do rock paper scissors to see who gets to pick and then it’s Cole.

- Lloyd usually picks movies like Spiderman into the spider-verse, and a lot more action movies, whilst Nya and Jay prefer and pick sappy rom-coms and Kai is always whining how it’s not a modern day movie, Kai picks karate movies like cobra Kai and karate kid, for some reason I can see Cole watching 80s movies.

-I've mentioned this before in one of my headcanons but Cole definatly stress eats, Nya's trying to help him reverse that habit but with everything going on right now its gotten worse.

Their reaction to you getting kidnapped

Lloyd

- He would try to remain calm, but truly he would be panicking inside, his thoughts would be racing and he couldn’t think, leading him to become reckless.

Kai

- Oh he would be furious, he would be smashing crates (if there were any around) and he would become so impulsive and reckless, he would probably try and save you alone.

Jay

-He is panicking, he doesn't know what to do so h e goes to the other ninja for help and they come up with a plan together.

Cole

-He'd start stress eating probably, though he would want to save you himself but when master Wu would've told him that they should so this as a team he would become calmer.

Nya

-Like her brother she would try to you herself, but also would go to the others for advice and ended up saving you together.

Zane

-He'd pull the whole team into your rescue, plain and simple.

Small things they do in a relationship

Lloyd

- he believes that communication is key therefore he talks things out with you

- he lowkey has a fear of losing you so he has to be close to you all the time

- he has a habit of leaving flowers around the monastery for you, but he started leaving sticky notes cause Kai thought the flowers were for him 🥲

- let’s be honest, he likes to show off so every time he is training with one of the ninja and he knows that you’re around, he shows off, but that usually ends up with someone getting hurt (mostly Kai or Jay)

Kai

- Same as Lloyd, major show off, that’s all I’m gonna say- ✋😊

- he always makes sure you have taken care of yourself, wether it’s eating enough or getting enough sleep

- he is definitely a major hand lover, he loves to kiss your hand anytime he can.

- he will make it his personal mission to make you happy when ever your feeling down

Jay

- He checks up on you, all the time, if you’re in middle of a battle he will make sure you’re okay

- Just because Flowers

- he always tells you how he is gonna marry you

- he loves touching your hands, but if their cold, and his are warm, he will hold your hand inbetween his both hands and will do so until your hands are warm

Cole

- You guys definitely would be the type of a couple to explore abandon buildings together, so you would always get in trouble and Lloyd or Wu would have to get you out of trouble saying that “it won’t happen again”

- Cooking together, by that I mean you cook and he watches

- Loves to just stare at you whenever you’re doing something, it could be a mundane thing like watering the plants or talking to one of the ninja, but he is always called out by Kai 😁

- Asks Jay for advice, he hasn’t been in relationships so he wants to do things right, therefore he goes to Jay for advice

- he shares his headphone with you whenever he is listening to music

Nya

- She compliments you all. The. Time.

- Kai might be jealous that you get more attention from her then her own brother

- fixing vehicles together

- always being there for each other

Zane

- He always makes sure you are taken care of, and if you haven’t taken care of yourself, he will advise you to do that

- he would tune up your vehicle with actually pretty useful stuff

- He opens up to you instead of shutting off his emotions

- He tells you about his father

I got another one for you, how would the ninja react if an enemy insulted their S/O and like calling their partner weak and stuff? To make it more interesting I added a list of villains, you don’t have to do this one with the list but you can if you want to

Lloyd it could be Harumi, for Kai, aspheera, Cole- Vangelis, Jay-nadakah, Zane-Nindroids? (You can change this one) and for Nya, kalmaar

I added the list to like make it their worse enemy so they can get more angry and such, idk if you wanna do this or not but I wanna hear your thoughts on this

How would they react to their partner being insulted by the enemy in the middle of a battle? {Ninjago Addition}

~ Lloyd Garmadon ~ {Harumi}

"Your so-called lover happens to be weak and... not much of help, can't we say?" Harumi says with a snarky grin, Lloyd stood grinding his teeth.

He tried to stay calm for the longest as he could, taking a deep breath as the facade cracked, and he lounged at her. Showing the little mercy he had left in him as the ninja he so proudly called himself.

Ways of simply saying it, he could never allow his anyone to talk down the once he cares about, no matter who said it.

"You've both sssshowned sssuch little ssstrength, even the one without powersss won't reach anywhere in life" She laughed at Kai, finding the both of them weak. His eyes paired red with rage, raging into an aggressive battle of almost death and living.

When someone Nya any words, he gets overprotective but knows she can handle herself, but since his partner does not have this power, his overprotectiveness reaching a new limit none of them knew he had.

~ Jay Walker ~ {Nadakhan}

"They can not do anything right." He told Jay when his partner had been knocked out from Nadakhan himself. His hands became more electrifyingly warm before his attacks became unhumanly fast, as lightning some might say.

Never in his Jay's life would he let someone just simply get away with being negative, his hair even standing up at some point as if he was struck by lightning. It showed how he felt upset without saying so.

~ Cole Brookstone ~ {Vangelis}

We know all know how Cole got his like extra cool power upgrade in his season, yeah? Well, this extra salt in the wound by Vangelis's words made him only crack faster to uphold his potential. "Pathetic being of a human, absolutely astonishing how weak." was screeched by the butcher version of a King to the ninjas lover.

Having already lost someone important to whom he had no control over, feeling so absolutely lost and vulnerable. Clenched hands with a scowl resting on his features, this would definitely not slide by his side.

~ Zane Julian ~ {Nindroids}

"Haha! That was just sad to watch. Even a toddler is more capable of a simple task." The nindroids hollared to themselves. Never once had he felt truly upset for the first time when it had been with you.

Not because of you but rather what someone had told you, yet he lost his cabels and wiring over his own limit. With the collected nindroid, he is. Freezing every last one of them.

~ Nya Smith ~ {Kalamaar}

Gosh, she adored you as a lover she is. Rather, not surprised when seeing her rather aggressive movements with the sushi look alike strutting around on his tentacles as he talked as if his words meant anything. "Such awful attempts of helping go back to helping the other fishes. At least then you could maybe do something right." He spat.

She stood fiurius, uneasy breathing as she stood up against him. Similarly to Kai, she lost her senses and went to attacking him until someone held her back.
