Redesign of my oc Coal

He is Kala’s (my other oc) younger brother. Unfortunately he doesn’t have any magical powers but has a deep understanding of magic so he is one of the most useful people in project Ellison. Everyone in the room is always amazed by his intellect and lack of social skills.

BACKSTORY

He lived with his family on a magic less planet until his sister Kala had an argument with their parents and blew up their house and everyone in the house. They were taken away from their home to Project Ellison*. He found out he doesn’t have magical powers or just a little bit but he naturally understands magic and spells structure so he can invent new spells (became a spell maker). He worked with his sister and other members of his team. Coal was one of the best spell makers and worked directly for the queen. But after his sister was forced to go on a special training the whole team started to struggle. Coal became a workaholic and developed a coffee addiction. That caused him sleeping trouble. When his sister came back things were ok again but just for a while. The whole group tried to run away but unfortunately only one member of their team managed to escape (Shaidy). Two of his friends (one of them was his sister’s boyfriend) died and the two siblings got caught. They were both broken. The second time they tried to escape it didn’t work out for him either but at least his sister was free. She came back to save him. Meredith (the queen) used him to bait Kala. When his sister and the queen fought with each other Meredith stabs him. The last thing he sees is his sister Kala ending Meredith’s life and crying while holding his dying body.

*This project collected children with magical powers and trained them so they can become soldiers. Later the majority of them were trouble teens that were send there by their parents with the promise their children will be rehabilitated.

This was for one of my classes again and I wanted to be something a bit different than just a drawing of my favorite food. I don't like drawing food and I don't like talking about food so I made something more disgusting. I'm not really happy with it even though I spent an unholy amount of time on it (like 18 hours or something). I had to rush the circles a bit.
