We Do Recover
When at the end of the road, we find that we can no longer function as human beings, with or without drugs, we face the same dilemma. What is there left to do? There seems to be an alternative: we can either go on the best we can to the bitter ends-jails, institutions, or death- or we can find a new way to live. In the years gone by very few addicts ever had this last choice. Those who are addicted today are very fortunate. For the first time in man's entire history, there is simple way proving itself in the lives of many addicts. It is available to us all. This is a simple spiritual-not religious-program known as NARCOTICS ANONYMOUS

Dear Beloved Universe,
Thank you for granting my verse.
Thanks for gifting me patience, wisdom, and grace. Thank you for leading me through this dangerous place.
Thanks for keeping me humbly sane, and away from harm and pain.
Thank you for showing me through lyric in song how to stand brave and strong.
Thanks for being my Life's guiding light, keeping me safe through each and every night.
Thanks for helping me to become whole, uniting my Body, Mind, and Soul.
Thank you very much for creating Me, Blessed be!
